WHAT HAPPENED TO RACHEL?

"Rachel!" Mama Eve knocks on Rachel's door before pushing the wooden door open.

Rachel was sitting on the bed, holding a pillow, and reading a book.

"Yes, Ma! What's up?" Asked Rachel who was a little stuttered.

"Mama wants to ask for your sanitary napkin. In a normal place, right?" Mama Eve opened the small closet under the nightstand before Rachel could answer.

The closet looks claustrophobic by several packages of pads that are still intact and as if untouched.

All the needs of Rachel is still bought by the mother. And every month, of course Mama Eve always bought the square box for the princess. And now, it's piled up in Rachel's closet.

Does that mean Rachel hasn't been wearing any pads in the last few months?

"Rachel got a tampon giveaway yesterday, Ma! That's why the stock is full! And Rachel forgot to tell Mama" said Rachel as if looking for an excuse to convince her.

"Are you pregnant, Rachel?" Mama Eve asked in as gentle a tone as possible, even though her heart felt like exploding.

Mama Eve soon falls on Rachel's bed, shocked by the truth that Rachel finally reveals.

"How many months? And who did you do it with, Rachel?" Mama Eve asked as she shook the princess's shoulder.

But Rachel just shook her head and did not want to say who the father of the baby she was carrying.

Rachel was determined not to tell anyone the real father of her baby. Rachel doesn't want to destroy Sean and Emily's relationship. Rachel doesn't want to hurt Emily, her best friend.

Rachel simply nodded and immediately went to the bathroom that was in her room. While papa Steve came out of Rachel's room to welcome guests who came this afternoon.

"What are you doing, Steve? Why is she crying like that?" Asked a middle-aged man who looked a few years older than papa Steve.

"Hi, uncle Bian! How are you!" Papa Steve hugged the man named Bian.

"I'm not your uncle! Can you call me Brother or Bian just so I don't look old?" Bian protest felt unacceptable.

"Good day, Miss Mia!" Steve instead greeted Mia who is the wife of Bian, Eve's older brother.

"I'm not your boss, Steve! Don't say too much!" Mia was still embracing Eve who had cried. But now, Steve's wife can control his emotions.

"Papa is old! So don't feel so young!" That one was the voice of a young man who was the same age as Rachel.

"Hi, Galen! What's with your sideburns? Your father looks younger and more handsome than you, "Steve continued to greet and hug Galen who is his favorite nephew.

"Where's Rachel?" Tanya Mia circulated her gaze to Steve and Eve's not too big house.

Not long after, Rachel came out of her room with a face that already looked fresher and hair that was smeared carelessly.

"Jiang, Uncle, Auntie!" Rachel hugged Uncle Bian and Aunt Mia alternately. Then do a tos and smile at Galen, his cousin who always looks neat and perfect.

Rachel, Mama Eve, and Papa Steve were instantly silent and smiles had also faded from her third lip.
