A month has passed,
Emily stared at the tall building in front of her.
"Right, this is the address?" Ask Satria's father to make sure once again.
Today is Emily's first day working in a publishing and printing office.
"Yes, that's right, Dad!" Emily replied after looking back at the office address on her phone.
Emily pulled down her skirt because it was a little uncomfortable. Emily rarely wore this skirt while she was in college. And because it's her first day working here, so Emily should be as polite as possible.
"Yaudah, you go in there! Later if there's anything directly contact Dad, yes!" Satria's father kissed Emily's forehead, and Emily immediately kissed the back of her father's hand.
"Ready, Dad! Hye!" Emily waved her hand at Satria's father's car, before it drove away leaving Emily and the tall building behind her.
Emily will just step into the lobby, when the sound of a car horn makes Emily jump in shock.
Holy hooch!
Thankfully, Emily had no heart disease.
Emily looked briefly at the silver car before pulling over and giving way. The arrogant car driver did not even have the slightest look on his face because all the glass of his car was tightly closed.
Emily chose to go straight into the lobby and ignore the driver of the car that made her hang. After asking the receptionist, Emily was immediately directed to go up to the fifth floor of the building and meet directly with the publishing and printing manager
Emily immediately took the elevator to the fifth floor. But when he arrived in front of the manager's room, the door was still closed. And the room was also empty as Emily peeked out of the glass at the door.
Maybe the manager hasn't come yet. So Emily's just gonna wait. But a voice returned to make Emily's heart almost roll from its sockets.
"What's peeping like that? Want to swing?"
Emily seemed to have heard that voice.
But where?
Emily turned to look at the owner of the familiar voice, and when she found that annoying face, Emily really had to grumble repeatedly in the heart.
"You! Sloppy girl! What are you doing here?" Ask the man fiercely.
"I'm not a sloppy girl!" Deny Emily quickly.
"What are you doing here? Watch out, move!" The man sniffs his chin towards the manager's door, and tells Emily to step aside.
What's he going to the manager's room for?
There's no way he's the manager Emily has to meet, right?
The man entered the manager's room and carefully placed the coffee cup he had brought.
"Hey, Miss! What are you doing in front of my room?" Reprimand the man again to Emily who looks dreamy.
"I want to meet the manager, sir" replied Emily hesitatingly.
The man was silent for a moment still while staring at Emily who remained fixed in her place.
"You're the new kid in the illustration section?" Asked the man with an incredulous face.
"He said so" Emily scratched her own head which was not really itchy.
"Come in here then!" The man's orders with a face that is difficult to explain. Between the scuffles and I don't know what his name is.
Emily went in and closed the door, and sat down in the chair at the table of the young manager.
How strange!
Why is the manager so young?
Like a college kid who just graduated yesterday afternoon.
"You're the manager at the publishing department?" Emily asked a little doubtfully.
"Yes! Is there a problem!" The man looked at Emily.
"Nothing!" Emily answered quickly while playing her finger on the pile of paper on the desk of the arrogant manager.
"Hello, Irma! Get to my room now!" The voice of the arrogant manager who was apparently talking on the intercom with someone named Irma made Emily lift her face and slightly raised her lips.
Whatdoes thatmean?
He wants to ask Emily for money?
"Where is your CV? Don't just be so clipped!" The manager snapped his chin to the map that Emily was still holding in her arms.
Oho!
Quickly Emily gave a slightly tangled map in her arms to the man before her.
Ck!
The man clucked.
"Crubbery, untidy, unsequenced, the paper folded," the manager commented, which immediately made Emily furrow both eyebrows.
What's the problem really?
It can still be read clearly!
"But your pictures are good. It's just, I don't like folded, untidy paper like this," the man in front of Emily pointed to a paper containing an illustration picture of Emily's graffiti that was folded in the top corner.
Just folded a little!
A little!
And why does this boss have to bother with him?
"Tomorrow, if you're working here, I want you to be neat, especially when you're putting your work on my desk! Do not let the paper fold or the map tangle like this! Understood?" The man's whirl again made Emily scratch her head.
"Yes, Sir! I understand!" Reply Emily who followed grimacing.
Tok tok!
"Sorry, Mr Galendra! You called me?" A woman who looks several years older than Yumi walks into the room and greets Galendra.
Oh, so the name of this recess manager is Galendra.
Different is equally unappetizing.
Yes, his spiciness makes no appetite.
I was full first with his nagging.
Emily held back her laughter because of her slightly bouncing brain thinking.
"Why are you laughing yourself like that? Is there anything funny?" Reprimanded Mr. Galendra with a fierce tone and stared intently at Emily.
"Nothing, sir!" Emily answered quickly who immediately pursed her lips.
"This is a new illustrator who will join you and Faisal in this office." Galen introduces Emily to a woman named Irma who just walked into her room.
"Hi, I'm Irma!"
"Emmy!"
Irma and Emily met each other and mentioned each other's names.
"He started working today. So please take him to his desk, and explain the work and everything he needs and doesn't need to do in the office," said Galen at length gave the task to Irma.
"Good, Sir! I'll explain everything to Emily later." Irma replied while nodding in understanding.
"Come, Emily!" Irma pulls Emily's arm and invites her out of Galen's room.
