Elf Princesses

Elf Princesses
Episode 9's. An Offer

"Miss, the Emperor is coming to visit you" said a servant, bowing respectfully before Rubby.

"Let him in" Rubby nodded.

Krekka..

"Good morning, Miss Rubby," said Zac as soon as he reached Rubby's room.

"Please sit down, Sire," replied Rubby coldly.

"How have you been lately? Sorry, I rarely see you for a little business," Zac sighed.

"I should have asked, Your Majesty. What is the condition of Your Majesty after acknowledging my future wife, without my consent?" Rubby smiled thinly.

The deg! "Ah. I don't mean that, forgive me," said Zac again sighing.

"Your Majesty, wouldn't it be too strange if you were constantly apologizing to a woman of unclear origin like me? In fact, I don't have any peerage" Rubby explained.

"Are you pressing me?" Zac asked as if he knew Rubby's mind.

"If Your Majesty thinks so, then it's not my problem" Rubby smiled and sipped his tea again.

"Well, I didn't think you were such a smart woman" Zac said in awe.

"Your Majesty, please don't make any further pleasantries this time, clearly state your wishes to come here. Oh, I also have to ask you why you so confidently want me as your wife" Rubby said.

"I want you because of that necklace." exclaimed Zac.

"Callong? Ka.. this necklace?" Rubby paused for a moment and showed me the jewels from the necklace he was wearing.

"Yes, it seems that since you're the owner of the necklace, I don't need to pretend or lie, do I?" Zac smiled and put his tea on the table.

Nah!

Does he know anything? Did he know about the elven race that had been lost all along? Rubby nibbled on her lower lip, feeling bad again for fear that Zac would know everything.

"The canyon is the legacy of my late mother and father."

"Residence?"

"Yes, they left the necklace and said I should use it if in critical time. My mother, the previous empress, he also said that I should find the owner of this necklace, or else all the power in my body would be useless. So-so"

"I understand.." Rubby looked down and looked at the jewel.

Does that mean your Majesty does not know the origin of this necklace? But, why did the previous Emperors and Empresses get to have Elf necklaces?

"Do I have to ask him?" Rubby muttered softly.

"If you feel overwhelmed, say it." Zac smiled and stared into Rubby's eyes.

"I'm sorry, Sire," Rubby took a slow look. "Where did Her Majesty get this necklace? What's.. Does your majesty know something?" rubby hesitated.

"I don't know anything about that necklace. My memory of it is also vague because both of my parents died since I was a child" Zac explained honestly.

Should I trust the Emperor? Rubby's biting his rannum lips. How should he answer the question about the Emperor? He also did not know who the Emperor was.

"Give me time to accept you, Your Majesty," Rubby said.

"I'm not going to put pressure on you, but I hope you can accept my offer." Zac smiled and took out a box of them from his pocket. "I've been preparing for this for a long time" Zac said. He handed the box to Rubby.

"Ring?" Rubby frowned. "Is this for me?" ask Rubby not to believe it.

"of course. I made it with the famous craftsmen from Loudas City, the most gem-producing and gold-producing city in the Goncalves Empire" Zac explained.

"I'm really grateful for His Majesty's intentions, but-"

"Can you take it this time? Besides, who else was this ring given to, Miss Rubby?" zac looked at Rubby.

Rubby swallowed his coarse Saliva, "Alright, I'll appreciate your sincerity." he nodded his head lightly and received the ring.

"Wear the ring if you accept the offer as my wife, remember it!"

Not having much time, Zac tells Rubby to leave his room. He returned to the office to continue his work.

"Huft.. Should I accept the Emperor's offer?" rubby's murmur dilemma.

Rubby lowered his head and looked at the jewel of the necklace that was linked around his neck. "If I return to my world now as the Elf Princess. Does anyone believe me? Do you want to accept me again?" rubby's eyes glazed over, he did not want to cry, but he also did not want to live in a race far different from his.

Starting from the shape of the body, how to communicate, and adjust to the environment. All of that could show just how different the human race was from the elf race. Elves, maybe now no one believes in the existence of the creature. They regarded Elves as 'mythological creatures' that could not exist in this world. Of course it was because the elf race decided to separate from the human world because of its threatened existence. Especially as a result of the actions of humans who hunt the elves.

"After thinking, my body shape changed itself after being in the human world." Rubby murmured.

"If I really want to go back to my world, there's no way anyone would help me get there. Moreover, I was offered to marry the leader of the human world." Rubby nibbled his own temple. Truly, he was very confused what he should do, even he replied regarding Zac's offer.

"I have to think about it carefully before I act" Rubby sighed.

"Where's that waitress yesterday, auntie?" rubby looked at Diana.

"Maybe His Majesty punished him for being rude to Miss" Diana explained.

"Auntie, what in this empire are many strange prohibitions?" ask Rubby curiously.

"Any, huh?" Diana was silent for a moment and thought. "I think all the prohibitions set are not strange prohibitions, but rather an obligation" Diana sighed harshly. "Even if I have been in this palace since 15 years ago, but it seems that giving up the throne to His Majesty is the right decision" he explained.

"Anu.. What about the previous leader? Are they acting tough on the people?" ask Rubby.

"No." Diana nodded quickly.

Rubby fell silent and swallowed his coarse Saliva. Looking at Diana's response, it seemed like she had not been willing to tell the entirety about this Empire.

"Did His Majesty say something uncomfortable to Miss?" diana asked worriedly.

"No. But His Majesty offered to make me his wife, as Aunt said at the time." explained Rubby.

"Miss, whatever your decision may be. I'm sure, Your Majesty will not do anything strange to harm you. But I hope you will accept her as the empress of this empire" Diana said.

"Auntie, is there anything withheld?" Rubby tilted her head slightly and looked at Diana. "I knew His Majesty had a good reason to marry me, much less all of it on the orders of the previous Emperor and Empress. But.."

"Miss, you have to accept it, no matter what." Diana smiled faintly and stared fixedly at Rubby's eyes.

"Baginda.he has been waiting for you for a long time, to be his wife. Please don't disappoint her, Miss." said Diana with a sad look.

The mood suddenly became quiet. Between Rubby who is in a dilemma about his decision, and Diana who wants a marriage between Zac and Rubby.

Tests..

"Ah, rain, huh?" Rubby looked up at the sky, and the raindrops began to drench his body.

"Miss, let's go in before the rain gets bigger!" diana said worriedly.

"Auntie, can I just stay here for a second?" rubby said hoarse.

"Miss, you could get sick just in case-"

"I brought an umbrella" said Rubby.

"Auntie, just go inside first. I'll follow behind aunty" Rubby continued.

"If. you are sick, it could be me who was scolded by His Majesty! Miss. you must not be rained on, you can have a fever like that!" exclaim Diana.

Rubby took a long breath. He nodded and followed Diana's steps to enter the palace.

*****

Rubby's Room..

"Miss, why did you open the curtain?! It could be lightning coming inside!" diana said half-naggingly.

"Yes aunt, I'll close it." Rubby nodded and immediately closed the open window curtain.

"Drink this warm tea. Aunty accidentally put sweet cloves into it so that your body feels warm" Diana smiled.

"I've always been a bother to aunty since coming here. I'm sorry, aunt." Rubby smiled and sipped his tea.

"Miss, do you know, Your Majesty used to whine if your aunt left it when it was raining." Diana smiled faintly, recalling the past that was impossible to repeat.

****

"Auntie! Don't leave Zac! Zac's scared!" said Zac whining, when he was still five years old.

"No, aunt won't leave Zac, okay? So don't cry!" Diana smiled and gently rubbed Zac's head.

Pity Prince Zac, even since infancy, his parents could not take good care of him because he had a lot of affairs as the leader of the country.

"Auntie, why haven't you come home yet? Is mom okay?" Zac waved his lips while hugging his beloved roll.

"His Majesty the Empress will be home after the rain is over. So now the Prince sleeps so that he can have the energy to meet his mother" Diana smiled as she enveloped Zac, and only a nod of her head and a bright smile showed the boy.

Zac was actually a spoiled child because he was the only child from the marriage of the Emperor and the Empress, but he was forced to become an adult because he would be the only future successor.

"Dream is beautiful, Prince." Diana kissed softly Zac's forehead. He left the boy when he fell asleep.

"Bi. auntie! Don't leave Zac! Hiks.. hiks..!" just a few minutes after Diana left, Zac banged on the door of his room and hoped to be opened. Of course a small child seems unlikely to be able to grab a high doorknob.

"Don't leave Zac, hiks.. Zac's scared!" rengek Zac is like a kid his age.

Hearing Zac's cry, the servants came and called Diana to Zac's room. Once there, Zac would immediately hug Diana's body until the woman's shoulder would be wet from Zac's cry.

Time passed, when Zac turned 13, his parents died and were taken to the Imperial palace for burial, just as the rain arrived.

"Prince, you must go inside. Your clothes are soaked in the rain" one of the bodyguards told Zac.

"Prince, come on in, you can catch a cold!" diana persuaded.

"Zac hates the rain," Zac looked down, his age should have been able to live independently, Zac also would not whine like a child in general if he wanted something to have. Zac was the crown prince, all his wishes were absolute things to be obeyed. But compared to all that, he had not gotten his wish. He does not need anything, toys, jewelry, possessions, or other valuables.

Zac's desire is only one, he wants the sincere affection of both his parents. Even until death to pick them up.
