Elf Princesses
Episode 36's. Conference - 2

"Transaction?" Rubby scrunched his forehead.

"Yes, I want to make a transaction with you. And. This transaction must be beneficial to both parties" said Marquess Ahen smiling thinly between the wounds on his face.

"Transaction? and. that benefits both sides? You think I'm crazy?" Rubby rolled his eyes lazily. "Don't make it up, just think about how you can reduce your sins before you get executed." rubby's exclaiming then turned his body facing back which suddenly made Marquess Ahen open his eyes wide.

"No, I-I promise, I promise this transaction won't put your life at risk" Marquess Ahen clasped her hands. He spoke solemnly, but deep down, he harbored a deep hatred for Rubby.

"How did you convince me of that?" rubby was interested. He turned his body to Marquess Ahen.

"I. I just want to live, I just want to survive the bars of this prison," Marquess Ahen raised his voice again, explaining his intention first.

"What?" Rubby scrunched his forehead. He stepped back to the man.

Srett!

His hand grabbed the collar of Marquess Ahen's shirt which could be said to have been torn, the man glanced softly as his collar rubbed against the wound near his neck.

"Agh.."

Marquess Ahen purposely closed his eyes, enduring the stinging pain and causing him pain.

"You know, this wound is nothing like the activities you do every day to those women you enslave!" Rubby stared intently at Marquess Ahen, not even the slightest smile on his face.

"Ha... You don't even know what transaction I'm going to propose yet, but. You're acting haughty like this.." Marquess Ahen emphasized his every word. Clutching Rubby's arm for a moment

"Stay away from me!" Rubby acted as if he was indifferent, his two eyes likening a deep hatred.

"Calm down, I won't mess with you either, let alone you're one of the factors that can make me free from here." Marquess Ahen smiled as he planned something.

In a large enough room..

"Hows it? Has your condition improved?" doctor Lily asked as she stroked the back of one of the many women who were taken in a special residence and given treatment.

"Thank you," the woman smiled faintly, the wounds on her body slowly disappearing as time passed.

"Where is Non-I mean, where is the empress?" asked the woman to look at Doctor Lily who was concocting the medicine.

"The Queen is busy at the moment. Don't worry, he must be fine as long as there is His Majesty by his side," Doctor Lily smiled sincerely, she was sorry for the ex-slave women bought by Marquess Ahen. Yes, the ones Doctor Lily had been treating for quite some time were the women who were once enslaved, and now, she also had to continue her duty to treat them.

"Doctor, don't you feel disgusted at me?" suddenly the question just popped into the mouth of the woman named 'Rasella.

"What..you mean?" Doctor Lily frowned as if she did not understand Rasella's words.

"No, I. I just thought that there must be a lot of people who would be disgusted to see me, the former slave of a man without any marriage ties. Anyway, I'm just a dirty woman who was saved" explained Rasella who then made Doctor Lily full of excitement. He smiled bitterly and rubbed Rasella's arm. "Don't be discouraged. It's not all you want, is it? Marquess Ahen is guilty and forced to play you. He will get a proper reply" said Doctor Lily.

"Yes, thank you ka-ugh.." Rasella squealed in pain, pain and pain mixed together making her body slowly limp.

"No.. miss? Miss Rasella?!" Doctor Lily opened her eyes wide as soon as Rasella collapsed before her. He got up and found a bodyguard to ask for help.

After three days passed, the long-awaited day arrived. The day all truth is revealed. Both Marquess Ahen, and Baron Jones are also among the current suspects.

"Today's trial, re-executed by the Imperial Palace to uncover the truth."

"No one can lie during the trial. The presence of witnesses, jurors, observers, or noble factions, matters of priority during the trial."

"So from this, the trial is ready to go."

Tak..

Tak...

Tak..

"Judge, did you forget to add the word whistleblower?" the question from behind made the judge look. The blonde-haired girl with blue irises rarely found in the Empire came and smiled looking intently at everyone, especially the two current suspects, Marquess Ahen and Baron Jones.

Whahuh? Why did the Empress come down from her throne? Baron Jones frowned, he felt anxious so it was difficult to swallow.

Rubby smiled faintly, staring at everyone who saw him at this moment. He dared to raise his voice. "You must be confused, why would an Empress like me step down from the throne and stand before all of you?" Rubby breathed heavily.

"Today, I come before you, not as a companion to an Emperor, but as the chief complainant of this trial." Rubby smiled faintly, his eyes glaring cynically at the two suspects who were bent on their knees with wounds on their faces, even their body shape was already invisible, just looks like a bone wrapped in dull unkempt skin. He also saw Marquess Ahen staring intently at him.

Much different from Rubby's gaze, everyone who saw him stared cynically at him. As if saying 'What does he want to do?' a strange look that meant confusion as well as hatred. But Rubby doesn't care about that. He has established himself to solve the problem until here.

"First of all, I'll explain a few things about this matter." Rubby again raised his voice, sounding rowdy people's voices whispering to each other.

"I wonder if in this place, where people and observers come, have any of you ever been abused?" asked Rubby who made the atmosphere become quiet.
