ELEGANCE OF TWO HEARTS

ELEGANCE OF TWO HEARTS
Chapter 8's

Pradjna curled up in bed, curled up in his blanket. It was 3 o'clock in the morning but his eyes were not closed.

His mind drifted everywhere. At 6am he had to prepare at the salon for his graduation while his eyes were swollen from crying.

His phone rang several times, calling from Aris as usual. I don't know how many times it sounded and Pradjna ignored it. Nor did he reply to his message.

What should I do, he lamented in his heart. He is in tremendous turmoil at the moment, 3x big surprises in a day make it limp.

"It's a sin, it's a disgrace but it's even more sinful if I avoid this disgrace" his mind raged. Her tears fell again, her tissue box was empty.

"Will I get through this, Lord?" pradjna asked back to herself. His heart whispered, "*You can be Pradjna, which is more painful than this alone you can get through, which does not kill you will strengthen you even more" said a voice in his heart.

Pradjna washes his face, he sees his very tangled face, his eyes are swollen and marsupial. He straightened his body, he had to live his life, the consequences of what he made himself.

"I have to be strong - I have to be, I have to!" unanimous determination.

After tidying up, Pradjna rushed to the salon he had ordered some time ago. He has decided, whatever the risk he will face.

The campus auditorium was already crowded when Pradjna got there. The couple Gunadi Sanjaya - the owner of the restaurant where he worked was present as well, they did promise to attend the graduation ceremony, as a companion. They both consider Pradjna as their own family.

The event went smoothly, happy faces emanated from all present, a life stage was exceeded, while a new chapter that they would actually meet the next day.

Pradjna rushed to the dean's room after the photo session was over. He has to clean up all his business here before he leaves.

"May you succeed one day, boy!. If there's trouble just say it, who knows there's something I can do for you" the dean's message softly read. Pradjna nodded, hugged the middle-aged woman, thanked her and kissed the back of her hand.

He will start a new chapter in his life. He will face whatever aral that hinders his path later.

Mrs Gunadi celebrated Pradjna's graduation at their restaurant with other employees. His co-worker congratulated him, Pradjna welcomed with a forced hanging smile.

Gunadi's mother pulled the girl's hand, took her to the 3rd floor, sat Pradjna right in front of her "What's making you restless my son?" ask Gunadi's mother directly, Pradjna a little pias. "I know you very well Pradjna, you're like my own son, say, son!" repeat the woman who still looks beautiful and fresh at her age who has 5 more heads.

Pradjna immediately sobbed, his shoulders shaken from his cries. The sight of Gunadi's mother who was still waiting for him.

"I'm pregnant, Mother" Pradjna finally opened her voice as well, Gunadi's mother sighed. "Have you checked your contents?" he asked, Pradjna replied with a nod, still sobbing.

"That's Aris's son?" he continued, Pradjna nodded again.

The woman with the motherly yet firm face was silent for a while.

"We will meet Aris and his family, we must discuss this, Pradjna" he said.

Pradjna immediately shook her head strongly "Mama Aris yesterday afternoon came to my apartment, Mother. He asked me to leave Aris, when we suddenly came and told me I was pregnant, I was afraid he was hurting me and my baby, this child is innocent, Mother" Pradjna explained. "He even gave me a blank check and told me to fill in anything as long as I left Aris" Pradjna continued.

"I only found out yesterday, too, Mother" Pradjna replied.

Pradjna then told me everything, Gunadi's mother again sighed.

"I'm going, Mother. I'll take the scholarship, so no one will know my condition" Pradjna said.

"Are you sure, Pre? No one will stand by you while there, you will be alone my son" Gunadi's mother looks anxious and does not let go of Pradjna's decision.

"I'm sure, Mother. It would be safer and better for us if we were far away from here" Pradjna looked down at his flat stomach.

Gunadi's mother hugged him, the woman sobbed "When are you going, son?" ask her.

"One more month, Mother. Waiting for the recommendation letter from the campus to come down first" Pradjna replied. Gunadi's mother nodded, "In the meantime, stay with us here, son. I'm afraid that if Mama Aris comes back, what happened let happen, how you are responsible for it, that's all that matters. I will discuss this with you later" he ordered, Pradjna back sobbing, really he was moved, he was not judged, he was supported. There was no blood relation between them, but there was something hard, togetherness for several years made them like family.

Pradjna returned to his apartment accompanied by Ms. Gunadi, cleaning up the not-so-much stuff. Staring briefly around, storing the memory that once happened in this place. After feeling enough he stepped out, hanging a goodie bag containing cakes as well as a letter on the door of Dr. apartment. Diana, thank you for helping him yesterday.

They returned home as well as the Gunadi family restaurant when the day had gone. After the restaurant closed, the three of them sat in the middle room of the 3rd floor of the family. Mr. Gun - as he was always called, sitting right in front of Pradjna. "You've been thinking hard to go, Pre?" ask her.

"Already,Sir. It's best for all of us, Pradjna can't possibly add another new sin, Pradjna must take responsibility" Pradjna said. Gun sir nodded his head.

"Well if that's your decision, son. We can only pray and support you, if there is anything to say, who knows we can help you. Take good care of yourself there, don't repeat the same mistake, promise me!" Gun looked at him. "Pre-promise, sir" Pradjna replied steadily.

Pradjna handed over the keys as well as the certificate of ownership of his apartment which was already in his name to the Gunadi family. They propose to rent it out so there are funds that can help Pradjna live next.

For the check that Aris' mother left behind they'll return it with a courier. Pradjna agreed to it all, his brain was a little stifled to think about it all he wanted was to leave immediately.

Waiting for 1 month seems very slow, unlike the usual day. He has taken care of his visa and passport, preparing whatever he feels he needs in his new place later.

Gunadi's family gave him extra money, "injured as the best employee" Mr. Gun chuckled. Pradjna was increasingly moved by the kindness of his adoptive family. Hugging the couple in turns, saying many thanks. They also contacted the niece who happened to also be in London, leaving Pradjna to her.

"Hana will pick you up as soon as you get there, Pra" said Gunadi's mother.

"Hana says your campus is close to her flat, maybe you can be neighbors or even live together, Hana is a good child even though sometimes ignorant" explained Ms. Gunadi again with a smile. Pradjna said thank you again for how many times.

Until that day, Pradjna was escorted to the airport by Ms. Gunadi, she hugged the old Pradjna, rubbed the girl's back several times, peed both cheeks, advised to take care of herself well. Pradjna nodded while slightly sobbing. Hugged the woman like her own mother, then headed to her gate for boarding.

"A new beginning is about to begin, get ready Pradjna Paramitha" he told himself.

Pradjna stepped up, he would face it all.
