POV PRADJNA

Flashbacks

"***Leave my son, for your own good. You can never be part of the Rahardjo family. Remember that or you'll regret it for the rest of your life!" threaten the middle-aged woman who still looks beautiful.

Pradjna only fell silent because he knew the answer was not necessary, he was only required to obey.

He was self-conscious, poor, orphaned. Fortunately God is still kind enough to give the brain like a sponge that easily absorbs everything around it. It was also what made him accepted at this prestigious university, with scholarships of course. In addition to college Pradjna also worked as an assistant chef at one western restaurant, his salary is hefty to support the needs of daily life.

At the university, Pradjna meets Haris, the first man in his life. The man who had always been causing trouble for her at first. In fact, his whole life was a problem for him.

The man also caused himself to run as far as possible to a strange place and no one he knew.

Pradjna decided to receive his S2 scholarship in London. I don't know what got into him at the time all he had in his brain was that he had to go as far as possible.

He takes care of his visa and passport, say goodbye to his coworkers and his hostess. Starting a new life, completely new because it does not know one person, also a new place, in another part of the continent.

Haris Rahardjo, a man who is known to be very arrogant and introverted, he knew accidentally. At first Pradjna did not think that they were a campus. He did not have time to socialize, after college he had to go straight to work. After working to hurry home to do his college assignments, he had to at least pocket the alphabet "B" for all his college eyes or threatened his students were cut off unilaterally.

At that time he was walking towards the boarding house, the rain fell quite heavy, Pradjna decided to walk because the angkot he was waiting for did not come. Her little umbrella did protect her head but not her feet. Her jeans from her knees down wet exposed to tampias rainwater.

His body was shivering, he had indeed felt a fever from 2 days before but he was still forcing his way into college also working.

His head felt a little wavy this afternoon, until the restaurant owner told him to go home early. Already halfway when suddenly a car drove slowly on the sidewalk where he walked then scattered puddles of water to make his body drenched, his body more shivering but his anger was more dominant, so he felt more, Pradjna picked up a stone in his hand and threw it at the car which was going slowly.

The throw was right about the rear lights of the car. Pradjna stopped his steps when the car stopped. A young man got out of the car and went around looking for the cause of the sound. Pradjna felt his head turning more and more, his body also shivering more when the young man his age walked up to him.

Pradjna tried to open his eyes wider because of his blurred vision. When the young man stood right in front of him, his gaze blackened, and he remembered nothing.

When he opened his eyes, Pradjna smelled the aroma of medicine first and then his eyes looked perfectly at the white-painted plavon on it. He was about to move and stopped when he felt his left hand ache, he saw in his hand it was stuck an infusion needle.

At once Pradjna sobbed, imagining with what money he had to pay for the hospital, he did have a little savings but he was not sure if it was enough.

"You awake? Dear God, thank God, wait for me to call the doctor first" a voice shocked Pradjna, before he could answer the young man had opened the door of the room and soon returned with the doctor and sister.

"Your friend is just fatigue and hypotension aggravate the condition, keep the diet and rest enough that will be very helpful" said the doctor with a smile, smiling, after finishing with the doctor's check-up and the nurse left the two of them.

"I'm Haris, just call Aris, sorry if I made you sick, I didn't mean it yesterday" the young man said

"Huh, no, I was also guilty of throwing stones at your car, I myself walked too far out of the sidewalk, my name is Pradjna" Pradjna said.

"Again I had a fever before, sorry to bother you" Pradjna continued while trying to get up.

Aris helps him and Aris's hand somehow makes Pradjna like electrocuted. He brushed off Aris' hand slowly and forced his body to work on its own.

Aris was speechless looking at him, letting the girl try herself. He pressed the button on the bed, until his position was slightly raised at the top.

"Do you need anything, hm...contact your family for example? ask Aris.

"Replace? I mean underwear" continued Aris again, Pradjna's face reddened to hear it, he then saw the clothes had changed with RS clothes.

"Suster changed because your clothes were all wet" Aris said as if knowing Pradjna's thoughts.

"Yes, makasi" he replied slowly.

"Why don't I leave you for a minute? There are some things I have to take care of" Aris said.

Pradjna nodded. Aris then out of the room, Pradjna sighs in relief, for some reason he feels a little alone with Aris in this room.

His eyes looked around, his room was spacious and the facilities were complete, AC - refrigerator - microwave - internet service. His head suddenly returned dizzy, imagining with what money he had to pay for this hospital.

His dizziness made Pradjna fall back to sleep.

Pradjna felt a touch on the tip of his head, as he opened his eyes Aris was already sitting by his bed rubbing his head slowly.

"You're awake, let's eat first, you went back to sleep without eating first" he said.

Aris shifted the portable dining table towards right in front of her. There was a full menu at the table, Pradjna felt his stomach asking for intake but considering the RS charge bill made his appetite evaporate somewhere.

"Why shut up, let's eat soon" Aris said, adding the soup he had just warmed in the microwave.

Pradjna shook her head slowly "can I go home now? I'm afraid my savings aren't enough to pay my bills here" Pradjna said.

Aris came up to him, scooped up the soup and shoved the spoon into Pradjna's mouth "eat first, you think the doctor will let you go home if you are like this" Aris said

"I will bear all your treatment costs, which you have to do enough one, eat and rest, let you recover soon" continued Aris again.

Pradjna pursed his lips "let's assume I owe, I'll take it every month" Pradjna finally opened his voice.

"Give up, I don't feel like I owe you, have a meal first, or do you want me to take a bribe?" asked Aris fiercely.

Pradjna shook his head and took his soup spoon and started eating.

Aris held back her smile seeing that.

For 3 days Pradjna was admitted to the hospital, during which time Aris accompanied him, only a few hours the young man was willing to come out for a while.

When Aris returned to bring a copy of the lecture material that day, he only knew they were one department only different class, Aris was his level brother.

Pradjna is grateful he did not miss college, Aris also loaned a laptop to do his tasks.

"Okay, Pre. Today we go home, here I have something for you, try out which one suits you" Aris said as she handed him some shopping bags.

"I, uh. 'cause I didn't know the size I bought some of it" he said again pointing to one of the bags with a famous lingerie brand. Pradjna's face flushed instantly but he also carried all the shopping bags into the bathroom.

After finishing with all the administration, Aris drove Pradjna to his boarding house, and after going through debates along the way, the girl finally relented.
