Dusk Star
Chapter 1 Flashback

Jakarta, 2008

Dusk in a cool garden many people flock there, including the boy who keeps his eyes on the sky while leaning under a shady tree .I don't know what's on his mind at the moment, which must be different from other children who go to the park every day to play while he continues to stay there while staring at the clear sky. Silent and alone is comfort to him, he is free to imagine himself in the imagination of a child high in dreams.

Suddenly...

“Hai, can I sit here?” ask a girl whose age is approximately one year below. While watching the boy also continued to look in the direction the man was looking at.

“You saw what the hell?” the girl asked again while looking up at the sky that the boy continued to see.

“Why yes , no stars in the afternoon?” said the boy while looking at the girl.

“Kan star is night. said mamah star , if the star is already big star should be like a night star that is able to illuminate the darkness of the night and provide beauty in the sky extinguished at night.” He said softly while looking at the sky that was almost orange.

“ So your name is star and you like star ?” ask the boy again while muttering and thinking about something.

“Yes, introduce my name Star and I really like stars. If you like stars, don't you?” tanya while looking at the boy demanded an answer.

“ I don't really like stars, but I like afternoons that emit orange. When the sky turns orange we can feel calm, but I would love to see the stars when the sky turns that color. Unfortunately every time I come here has never seen a star.” Said the boy looking lethargic.

Then the alarm in his head immediately sounded when he saw the binary eyes of the young man that made him feel comfortable and serene. Instantly the boy spoke…

“You want to be my star?” ask the boy.

“Wah I would love to be the star of you” replied the young man enthusiastically.

“It just so happens that I also just moved yesterday so you don't have many friends you want to be my friend , so my gun friend.” Continue with hope and happiness.

While waiting for the boy's answer he smiled as he looked at the boy. Not long after the unknown boy nodded and made the girl smile happily.

“Means from now on you become my gun star and I become your weapon friend, deal.” The boy said as he reached out to shake hands.

“Deal’ while receiving the boy's hand job.

“oh yes whose name are you?”

“My name is Yusuf, nice to meet you Star. From now on we are friends”

And after that they start to get along with each other because their house turns out to be next to each other so it always plays together and causes them to get more familiar. Just at the age of 6 years, Yusuf moved home to Bandung because his father moved duties. This makes Bintang very sad and Yusuf so did not have the heart to say goodbye . So that he only gave a star-studded necklace to the Star he entrusted to his mother, he also asked one Barbie doll to have a star to be used as a memory .

Although they often communicate because their parents are still familiar, but at the age of 8-year-old Star he had an accident that resulted in memory loss and separation with his biological mother. At that time the Star fell into the abyss and could not be found so his parents could only give away their only daughter because they could not find any trace of her at all.

Joseph who was told this by his mother felt very sad and devastated because his twilight Star had left. Although there is no possibility to meet again somehow Joseph felt he would meet again someday.

"Sister." Call her mother to her son.

"Ma, the stars are going?" the boy's eyes glazed over as he said the word 'go'.

Isakan his mother, made the boy conclude that his sister had indeed left. Leaving him alone. Although she rarely met because she lived in her grandmother's house, but she loved her sister very much.

Star Smile that is always contagious makes him who rarely smiles sometimes smile if nearby.

His grandmother was sometimes strict with him, making him seem to forget that he was a child who should be filled with the world of play.

"Yusuf, who is patient." His grandmother carried the boy called Joseph in her arms.

"She, we're not going to see any more stars?" Joseph looked up to see his grandmother's expression.

His grandmother was silent for a moment, "who said, we'll see the stars again."

Joseph's grandmother pointed Joseph's hand to his chest. "The star never left here. Joseph must remember that if Joseph misses the same Star, imagine that the Star is in front of Joseph with a smile."

Joseph closed his eyes, remembering the cheerful face of the Star. The shadow of the Star before him made Joseph smile, as if confirming what his grandmother had said.

"How's it?"

"Yes, there's a star smiling at Joseph."

Since then the Star always does this if it is kangen with the Star.

"Hallo aunty." A chubi-cheeked little girl approached a young woman who was tidying up her things.

The young woman approached the little boy. "Hallo, you're the kid from the neighbor's house right there."

The little boy smiled sweetly revealing his neat row of teeth, "yes aunt."

The young woman pinched her cheek, "what's funny, what's your name?"

"Naila, aunt."

"It looks like you're the same age as aunty's son, just wait aunty panghilin first."

"Yusuf down son."

Before long a boy came down with his pouting face.

"Mama, I told you not to call Joseph anymore. Call me Akbar." It was the boy who made Naila smile.

Naila thought the little boy named Yusuf or Akbar was very funny.

Naila gives herself close to Akbar. He held out his hand, "hi I'm Naila."

Akbar stared lazily at that measured hand in front of him. Akbar received the helping hand before his mother glared at him. "Accad." The Uca is short and flat, impressed lazy.

"My house is over there."

No, Akbar replied in his heart.

"If you want to play you knock on the door three times or call my name."

No interest, anyways who wants to be with a chatty girl like her, Akbar replied inwardly again.

"Naila where are you." Someone shouted from outside, making Naila look towards the open door, her mother looking for her.

"Dah Akbar Naila come home first, we will play yes. If Akbar won't go to Naila's house. Naila's gonna play here."

"Give up." murmured Akbar.

Sure enough the next day Naila kept her promise to play to Akbar's house, as well as the following days that made Akbar careless.

Akbar had whined that they moved to Jakarta again because they were bored with Naila's fuss.

His wish came true when he was about to enter the Junior High, but Naila just kept following him.

Akbar and his family decided to move to Bandung again when Akbar entered the High School.
