Chapter XXVII
Maira's happy day arrives, all party preparations are available, with a black dress with unraveled hair complete with high heels Maira descends from the stairs leading to her side outing, but at the end of the stairs there was Fatih waiting for him.
"Well, birthday is beautiful," Fatih teased her only child.
"Ah papa's. Oya pa, Darren will come with his mother pa," said Maira relaxed.
"Good dong Ra, so we will know each other," replied Fatih happily.
"Thank you pa" he replied, hugging Fatih at a glance.
"Already, meet your guests first, it's already on the come." said Fatih and in reply with a nod and then leave Fatih.
Maira met the guests who had started to arrive.
"Happy birthday, Ra," said Billa who came suddenly and scattered to hug Maira.
"thank you Bill" Maira replied to her best friend.
Shortly after, Romi came closer with Angel, making Maira and Billa look at each other.
"Happy birthday, Ra" Romi said, alternating with Angel.
"Thank you guys for coming, but I'm sorry about before, you guys.." said Maira hanging.
"Yes Ra, we're done" Angel replied shyly.
"Congratulations yes" said Maira and Billa at the same time.
They chatted at length, whatever was discussed, and not long after came Darren with Ana who walked hand in hand, they looked harmonious between child and mother, their faces were very similar.
"Happy birthday, Ra" said Ana, hugging Maira warmly. Maira's friends are amazed by the warm relationship between the two.
"Thank you Ma" I replied back to Ana's embrace.
"Happy birthday dear," said Darren after Maira released Ana's embrace. Darren kisses Maira's troubled forehead and receives cheers from her best friend and Ana.
"Thank you, yes" Maira replied timidly.
They resumed their casual chatter, and without them noticing Fatih came coming from behind them after searching for Maira's whereabouts all over the corner of the park.
"Ra.." call Fatih.
"Yes pa" Maira answered, turning her back and being followed by Ana, Darren and his friends.
"Dad!" fatih was surprised to see Ana in the same place.
"Fatih" replied Ana. Making people in the same place feel astonished, no one knew that Ana and Fatih knew each other. Maira and Darren looked at their parents with questionable gazes.
"So he's your son?" said Ana cynically and pointed towards Maira.
"He's that cheap girl? don't expect me to agree to your child's relationship with my son." said Ana in a raised voice, making all guests turn their eyes towards one point, while Maira and Darren just stared in confusion.
"Ana.." said Fatih lirih.
The event had to disband early, the guests were invited to go home. While Maira was just sitting on a bench at the end of the park, her heart was broken, many questions that had yet to get a clear answer, especially from Fatih. Her tears refused to stop.
"Ra, you don't papa?" asked Billa who was sitting next to Maira.
"Gue was still confused Bill," he replied softly.
"Lo who is patient, there must be an explanation of all this" said Billa trying to calm down. While Maira just nodded lethargicly.
"Ra's night, I say yes," said Billa and was nodding back by Maira without taking her eyes off.
While in the car, Darren is still confused by the attitude of Ana who berates Maira after meeting Fatih.
"What really happened, ma?" ask Darren full of probes.
"From this moment on, break off your relationship with Maira, mama will never bless you" he said.
"There's a reason for that ma, please explain to Darren ma! mama knew Darren wanted to propose to Maira and she agreed, but now she's breaking up. What's the matter, ma?" darren said full of confusion. And then pulled the car over the side of the road.
"Forget it all, and now don't ever see Maira anything else still in contact with her. If you are still insistent, do not expect you will meet again with mama Darren." threatening Ana firmly.
"Ma... Darren's just asking for an explanation for all this." - cynical Darren.
"Road," said Ana.
"Gak ma, before mama clear everything." refused Darren.
"okay, mama will just walk," said Ana who prepared to get out of the car.
"Ma.." said Darren while holding Ana's hand, and finally Darren relented and drove his car. Her heart was heartbroken with Ana's attitude, her feelings were so unpleasant with Maira, her hopes were crushed just like that in a matter of seconds.
Once at home, Darren enters the room without caring about Ana, he looks at the ceiling of the room with a tight grip on the necklace he wants to give Maira, but he had to fail with a problem he did not know. His heart was broken, shrouded in endless anger.
No different from Maira, he locked himself in his room, Ana's speech so clearly ringing in his ears and mind.
"Is there a problem with Mama with Aunt Ana, Ma? why does he hate mama" muttered Maira with a constant cry. His heart ached, his chest was so tight, tears were already very difficult to weave. He is at a loss for what to do other than find out what is going on between his parents and Ana.
