Chapter 5

Andre saw Leon leave before he did

he turned back to Anggi and warned him again.

"Remember what I said!"

Then he left that place too.

While Anggi adjusted her emotions, Melisa suddenly withdrew her hand and said. "I don't like it."

"Who? Andre Sebastian?" Anggi asked back.

"Not him, but Mr. Smith. He looks scary." Melisa's small voice sounded serious.

Anggi smiled and said, “What a coincidence. I don't like it either, but..”

George looked at his mother. "But what?"

“Do not deal with him. He's not someone you have to fight, ” Jeanne said.

Anggi holds Melisa's hand and takes her back into the VVIP room.

To his surprise, Leonardo Smith was also inside.

Everyone stood up, showing complete respect to the man. Even his father, Anthonio, looked obedient.

Anggi returned to his seat with Melisa.

Leon greeted everyone before he turned to Edward, and asked. "I heard from your father that you will marry Sandra next month."

"Yes, uncle Leon. 5 Next month."

Eden showed respect to the man he called the uncle. Although his uncle was only five years older than him, he had to respect the man because Old Master Smith had put the man in charge.

Mr. Leonardo Smith is the most powerful figure in the Smith family besides the old master Smith himself.

"You'd better treat him well." Said Leon.

"Good uncle Leon. Don't worry, my father has prepared all the necessary things." Answer Edward.

"It's good to hear it."

"Thank you, Uncle Leon." Sandra showed a smile of flattery to Mr. Leonardo Smith.

Leon nodded.

"I was having dinner here and I met Andre outside. I found out that Alexander's family and Sebastian's are here, so I'm thinking of saying hello for a moment."

For Anthonio and Sebastian, they were very honored that Leon recognized their surnames.

"I'll go now. Enjoy your dinner." He was really here just to say hello to everyone.

"Thank you." Anthonio and Sebastian.

"Don't be shy."

He then left quickly.

Han was confused by his master's actions. He had just returned from a business trip, yet he wanted to come here for dinner instead of coming home to rest. After dinner he even stopped by Alexander and Sebastian's room just to greet everyone.

Others might not realize but he knew very well that his master did not like social events like this.

Leon gets into the car and Han sits in the driver's side seat.

The car drove to the Smith family's private residence.

"Han." Call Leon.

"Yes sir?"

"Check Sebastian's family background."

"Sebastian's family? What's up?" Han feels strange because the Smiths have no business relationship or any relationship with Sebastian's family.

"I want to know all about them. Even including their great-grandmother who had died and where they were buried."

Han asked what Sebastian's family had done to anger his master.

After Leon left, the room became even more festive than before.

"Anthonio, it looks like you're close to Mr. Leon." Sebastian flattered.

"Oh, yes. It's all because of my future daughter-in-law." Anthonio said humbly.

Sebastian politely turned to Edward and said. "Edward, we'll soon be a family. Please think of Sebastian's family as your family too."

In the public eye Edward is the perfect son-in-law of every daughter-in-law out there. He is educated, rich, polite and most importantly his family background.

"I didn't know you were this close to your uncle. She even came here herself just to ask about your marriage." Anthony was impressed with the visit.

"Yes, I am indeed close to Uncle Leon."

"His age is 30 and I heard he's single." Jihan voicing.

“Well, he has no one around him, so ..”

"Is he okay? I mean physically?” Jenifer asked subtly.

Everyone is interested in Mr. Leonardo Smith's personal life, except for Jeanne and George, who are busy eating.

Eden smiled and said, "I don't know anything about Uncle Edward's private life either."

“He's 30 years old and single? She should have been married some time ago, ” said Andre's mother with a sad feeling because she felt bad for the man.

“Uncle Edward has always been an independent person with his own mind. No one knows what he thinks.”

"If your Uncle Edward continues to be the way he is today, you will have to assume the responsibility of taking over in the future" Andre's mother said respectfully.

"You're right!" Andre's father nodded in agreement. He took a glass of wine and toasted to Alexander.

"Alex, don't forget me when that day comes."

"You're too good. Besides, my daughter is married to your son. We will soon become one big family.” Alexander is in a good mood.

Dinner continued with adoration and laughter that night.

Eat quietly. It had been a long time since he had eaten in Grade A City and the food here matched his taste.

The dinner continued for a little longer than expected.

The two families chatted a little longer until finally parting ways for tonight.

Sebastian's family is happy about the marriage to Alexander's family. In upper class society, the status of the bride must be in harmony. But more importantly, unity between two families must be able to generate many benefits for both parties. It is nothing more than buying and selling.

Before parting Sebastian said to Andre, his son. "It's your first day meeting Anggi. Spend more time with her until the wedding day comes."

"All right, I get it." Andre said politely.

Anthonio also said the same thing to Anggi. "Go more often with Andre. Take the best time to get to know each other."

Anggi just nodded. He wasn't so stupid as to humiliate his father in such an important meeting.

Both families eventually went to their homes.

Anggi and Melisa are in the same car.

Melissa asked. "Mom, are you really going to marry Andre Sebastian?"

Anggi looked at his daughter. "What do you think?"

"I don't think you will,"

Anggi just smiled silently silently.

The car finally reached the residence of the Alexander family.

Anggi came out with Melisa. He saw Edward standing in front of the entrance with no Sandra around. The man was obviously waiting for him.

Anggi walks quietly with Melisa.

Edward asked. "You just met Andre Sebastian. How do you feel about him?"

"Obviously. Nothing special." Answer Anggi.

"I just want to know. Do you regret what happened five years ago?" Ask Edward. From his voice he sounded like he wanted to hear Anggi admit that he regretted his loss.

"If I say no, will you be angry?"

"Stop pretending. You know how important I am to my family and you've seen how close I am to Uncle Edward. If you don't like Andre, beg me and I'll help you do something for our old relationship." Edward said arrogantly.

Anggi just throw breath. He had no interest in spending his time serving the pretentious man in front of him.

She said. "I think you better control yourself. Sandra's not the sweet woman you imagined. He can be very scary when he's angry, you'll regret if it bothers him."

Edward reacted bitterly.

Ever since he came back, he had never seriously looked into Anggi's eyes.

But his cold attitude was what made him even more dazzling. He had a strong female aura that he did not have back then, and it made Edward challenged to conquer him at this time.

He didn't get it five years ago, but now he has to get him to bend his knee underneath.
