Crazy one!
Is this a house or a wedding?
Uh, no. I meani. Haish, only the wedding hall can I describe for a house as grand and spacious as this.
For the first time, I felt a body tremble when I had to deal with someone.
David's Mama.
Good Lord! Somehow his appearance and nature. If asked to choose, I better deal with the debt collectors who were always chasing me. And so, I hid from them very well.
In contrast to now, the thought of meeting a female figure inside made my body limp as if it was boneless.
"Come on!" take David and extend a hand. It seems like the man was trying to help me get out of the car.
"I can walk by myself" I refused in a faint voice.
"Come on!" The man remained unmoved with his hands outstretched, now holding my arm.
He seems to be indifferent to rejection. Again David ignored my words. Basic David!
"I can go down by myself. Watch out!" I still hold on to my rejection. It feels uncomfortable if you have to join in to enter the big house.
I don't feel like a couple, I'm a prisoner.
"I don't want you to haze, Aqila," said David in a stifled voice full of emphasis.
No, that's right my guess. I was like a prisoner in the eyes of that man.
"Come on! Mama is waiting. It would feel strange if we walked alone" David said in a softer voice.
Hearing her soft voice and receiving that warm-turned gaze, my heart warmed. Thus, this body automatically responds to its touch with the same reply.
Finally, we walked into the house hand in hand.
It is true what David said. Her mother was waiting in the living room.
I no longer even had time to pay attention to how the interior of this room was because it was too focused on the middle-aged woman who still looked beautiful at her age that I estimated had entered the head of five.
"Hi! You are so beautiful" said Mama. Ah, I'm not exaggerating, right, if you call 'mama' at our first meeting.
Mama approached me, then without a cue - she hugged me tightly. Inevitably, I also pulled my hand from the grasp of the hand of the tall man next to me. Replying to the arms of the woman who had given birth to David.
Unable to prevent, these tears trickled down. Her tears are happy at once.
I don't know when the last time I felt a hug from a mother. I forgot how warm the hug was.
Feeling Mama David's embrace now, my heart is breaking. I can no longer describe how this warmth spreads in every joint of the body.
Mama broke her arms, then looked at me inside. His two hands even encapsulated both of my cheeks.
"What's your name?" mama asked full of gentleness.
"A-Aqila, Ma," I replied.
Mama smiled very pretty and then said excitedly, "Mommy likes you to call Mama."
I laughed and wiped the tears that were dripping down my cheeks.
Mama turned to look at David, then hit the man. "You're, you're not wrong, are you, Mama's choice" he chuckled.
"Aw! Yes, Ma. Mama is good at choosing" said David as he winked at me.
I turned the ball around lazily, then smiled sweetly at mama.
"Udah, come! We eat first" Mama asked, then took my hand and left David.
We sat in the dining chair. Actually, my stomach is still too full because it ate a lot in David's office.
"Udah prepared," said Mama gave an excuse.
Even with a heavy heart, it is impossible to refuse the request of Mama. Finally, we ate three at a large and luxurious dining table with appetizing dishes. Forget about being scared of fat or something. The fact that I can eat food like this is not necessarily a lifetime, as much as I can spend what is in front of me.
Unfortunately, I forgot to eat with my husband and future in-laws.
Ah, my burp is huge.
I grimaced with embarrassment. I can usually forget where I am.
"Excuse me, Ma. I hitchhiked to the restroom" I said in a stammering voice.
"Satisfied you," David chirped with a sharp look.
"Dam." Mama brushed off the air stopping David's words. Then say slowly, "Yes, please. Let's get Bibik."
I stroked the stomach that felt relieved because it had been wasted, then walked slowly back to the dining room.
Mama and David seemed to be chatting, there was a hint of annoyance on the woman's face to the son.
While David only grinned in response to the shock of the woman who had given birth to it.
Mama's annoyed face suddenly changed as a little girl ran towards her.
"Geez!" the girl ran.
She stretched out both hands, getting out of the chair. It seemed like he was sitting on the floor to welcome the arrival of the little girl who called him 'oma.'
Ha's? The oma?
My body is in place. My brain started to work thinking about what was happening.
On his seat, there was a cheerful laughter from David. Ah, I can't see his face directly from here.
"Oma's granddaughter is awake?" ask Mama about the girl.
"Yes, Oma Pinter's granddaughter, right?" reply the girl.
"So cool, dong." This time it was David who replied to the little girl.
She took the girl and sat back in the dining chair. Our eyes were also rubbed.
Suddenly, my heart was pounding. I don't know for what reason I was able to do this, like when I first came here. Though, the awkward atmosphere had already begun to melt between us. Especially to myself.
"Lho, Aqila is back. Here!" Mama waved her hand, slowly I walked back to the chair I had been sitting in with a clumsy feeling.
Every now and then my eyes glanced at David who was looking at me with a strange look. Then I turned to the little girl in Mama's lap who was looking at me with a look.
"Daughter, greet with Aunt Aqila," said Mama softly.
Oh, her name is Princess. As pretty as her face.
"Hello, Aunt Aqila. I'm the daughter of Oma's beautiful grandson" the Princess greeted in a carefree voice.
"Hello, Princess," I said trying to balance her boisterous voice. Of course I don't want that girl to feel my bad feeling in this situation.
"Aqila, I can explain" said David Iirih sounding like a mutter in my ear
"No need. I already know everything. No need to explain anymore, David," I said no less quietly with a voice full of emphasis. My eyes stared intently at the man who looked wrong.
"Oma, want to call Mama," whine Princess then who immediately replied with a nod of agreement by Mama.
Mama and Putri stood up, before stepping away Mama said softly, "Mama stay a while Aqila. Princess wants to call Mama first." Then Mama's gaze turned to David, "Take a chat first, David."
"Yes, Ma" said David.
"Based on a liar," my hissing sharply and then immediately stood up from the chair. I want to leave this house immediately.
