🌸 6 Years later

After graduating from Merpati High School, Rio received a scholarship to continue his education at a renowned University. Rio will divide his college time by working, just like he used to do when he was still in SD and Junior High School. When High School, Rio did not sell because his father forbade, enough Surya who works, because Rio already got a scholarship so Surya thought no longer need to sell, just to sell, he is still able if only for pocket money and Rio fare. Rio was forced, but after Surya gave his understanding, Rio finally relented and he focused on learning to get into the University he wanted without paying, that is, he must be able to maintain his value in order to get the scholarship.

Because already in college, Rio will find a job at Cafe-Cafe, he can work part-time so that his lecture is not disturbed. Maybe by working like this his income is more secure than selling tissues and nuts whose income is uncertain. He intends to apply for work at the Cafe in front of the campus, after college he can directly work there.

“You can work directly tomorrow”

“What here is part time, I am in college so I want to work after college” explained Rio

“Yes, you can work after going home from college, let me talk to the manager later, tomorrow you can meet him” said Desi

“Alright thank you very much Desi, then I go home first”

Rio left the cafe, he was happy to be accepted there. He will raise money to buy a motorcycle to help him if he wants to travel. With the results of work he will set aside to save, even though it takes a long time for months, no matter if he can buy a motorbike even though it is not a new motorbike, he will look for a good old motorcycle.

“Where do you work? Then your college?” ask Surya

“Rio work at the Cafe in front of the campus well, father is calm is not the father's son is experienced so he can divide the time, Rio also will not forget to learn” Rio replied

“Iya father if sick do not need to work, let Rio only work. Rio did not have the heart to see father if sick, God willing Rio salary is enough if to eat”

“Ya already Rio shower first, dad just rest”

Rio went into his room putting down the bag and took his towel.

The house that Rio and Surya occupied was still the same as nothing changed, the memories inside were still in the memories of Surya and Rio. It has been almost seven years Ningsih died but Rio and Surya have not been able to forget about it. Even though it was gone, Rio and Surya diligently visited Ningsih eating, so that they could reduce their longing.

After the bath, Rio went straight to the kitchen to prepare his dinner. Surya did not help because Rio forbade him so that he could rest.

“Dad, the food is ready let's eat first” call Rio

Rio and Surya enjoyed the food he ate, it was simple but for them it was enough to satiate and charge them.

Not felt, the day was getting late, Surya chose to rest so that tomorrow he was healthy and could work again, while Rio was still reading his books. Tomorrow he has a presentation, so he has to prepare the material and understand it so that he can explain it well and make his friends understand about the material described. Because it was finished and Rio was also sleepy so he decided to sleep, so that tomorrow when working he was excited, especially tomorrow will meet with his manager, Rio had to show his best to be able to work there anyway, because the distance was not too far from the campus so he could save the cost.

Surya has set off on his bike, Rio will also leave and lock the door of the house. Surya and Rio did not go together because the direction of the campus and the market were opposite. Rio rode an angkot to take him to campus, traveling from home to campus half an hour if riding an angkot. Surya told Rio to ride the angkot, so that he was not tired because Surya did not have the heart to see Rio on foot. When SD and SMP alone are walking because the distance from home to school is not too far away, while the time of High School must ride angkot because it is quite far away, there is no way he will walk because it will make him late and tired, can affect when learning.

Surya also forbade Rio from selling, but Rio still wanted to sell and find a reason for Surya and Ningsih to allow him to sell.
