...Chapter 04: The Black Light of the Summoning Ritual....

...-...

After a few minutes of entering the Book Hall Room, Yuka finally came out feeling very happy for having been chosen to be a High-level Magician. Lark and Leon looked at Yuka from a distance and were also happy to see the reaction of her brother when he came out of the Book Hall as if he had taken off all the burdens of his mind for a year before. A sense of excitement and fear still lingered in Lark's mind, but after seeing the happiness of the brother who had been chosen to be the Witch. He refused to show it.

Smiling faintly and forcedly, Lark also clasped tightly onto his hand. He sits back to calm his mind, while Yuka tries to encourage them both, even if it only helps them a little. Some Children had already entered the Hall of the Book Room and now it was their turn to perform on the stage that was to enter the Hall Room.

" Leon, Next it's your turn to go in ! "

Previously Leon had been afraid when his name was called, but he tried hard and prepare mentally. She wanted to become a great Witch who could protect her family, by relying on courage as well as fate. Leon opened the door of the Hall Room slowly and entered it. Leon stood in the middle of a circle staring around him, he observed all the bookshelves around him as if he felt there was a strange thing in the Hall Room that chose a Witch. Sure enough, when he saw all the whole. Somehow Leon felt that many streams of Mana were coming out from the cracks of the book and the flow was towards him, at first Leon was a little surprised when he saw the many Mana Streams around him. Trying to stay in a calm state, Leon took a deep breath and closed his eyes.

The atmosphere grew increasingly tense, Light slowly began to appear which followed many books surrounding her. A whisper-like voice rang out in Leon's ears, something a little frightening sound and imposing the will of thousands of lives. One by one the light formed a human body that held each other's backs behind Leon's back, on the 2nd floor there were people watching the incident. His sister, Aniese. He was surprised when Light formed a Human figure suddenly appeared behind his sister, Aniese was worried about her condition and wanted to wake Leon up. His efforts fail when curiosity takes hold of him, Aniese undoes her intention to get down to Leon and stays still in place while observing the circumstances.

It did not last long, the Light slowly disappeared by itself. So also the figure behind Leon also disappeared, in front of Leon there is one book still showing its light. A gold-coated book that looked extremely luxurious, it looked like it had a lot of Mana stored in it.

On the front cover there is a Dice Picture and shows the Number that is Dadu Number 12.

The emergence of the Number 12 Dadu is indeed a very step in the world because only fate determines everything, those who love Magic will be the most noble in his life.

In short, this figure had the symbol of the highest power in Magic mastery to a level more frightening if he trained it. Many people expected to get something a chance to become a witch from the Number 12 Dice, but fate did not choose them. In the city, precisely at the Magic Academy.

They were very much expecting a Witch-Witch who had potential in the Advanced Number Dice, and even a Person who had a Dice Number of 12 would be very proud of everyone in the Academy.

They would specifically train an Advanced Magician to become an experienced Magician to be able to control his limits.

Leon opened his eyes slowly to face his ordeal, he was uncertain for sure from the faint voice he had heard earlier. But he thinks because they're Leon can get a chance at this extraordinary item, Leon grasps his hopes and sees the light of the future.

Only when he became a high-ranking Magician could his dreams be realized, as Leon approached his Book. Suddenly he felt enlightened somehow and with the power in the book made himself able to see many things, especially the Mana Flow that flowed like a small current around him.

Then the Flow was slightly absorbed by the book, then the Book took out the Flow to enter Leon's Body. The stage is repeated constantly.

Leon went out leaving the state inside the Book Hall Room, his flat face looking slightly showing the side of happiness and smiling faintly. Leon walked up to the old Man in front of the Door, of course the Old Man was very surprised and very proud of Leon's achievement.

Slightly imposing his will seen from a distance about the Old Man persuaded Leon to specifically go to the Magic Academy directly without performing the stages of the Disciple Magic Exam. Because Leon is already a High-Level Witch who has the highest number of dice can enter the Academy through the path of achievement.

But Leon was still thinking of leaving his Village and going to the city, as well as when he glanced at Lark who was on the participant bench. Leon has not been able to decide his choice, he wants to see the circumstances of Lark first in order to decide early. Leon returned to his seat, waiting for Lark to finish being called.

Seeing that all of his Siblings had been chosen by fate, Lark's mind calmed down and felt very confident to enter the Book Hall Room. He stood up from his seat, walking slowly towards the door of the room where he opened it.

Lark had reached the middle of the Magic Circle, a sense of nervousness re-entering him. Lark was sweating, occasionally his sweat falling to the floor as it felt very tense with his current state. Not long in that atmosphere, he took a deep breath back then let out slowly. Not forgetting before starting the Roulette Ritual, he closed his eyes and hoped to be chosen as a magician.

Although being a lower-level Witch or a Dice 01-figure was also not a problem, that was what she expected when she closed her eyes.

The light began to shine on him, the books flew from his shelf and circled Lark who was standing on the spot. On the second floor, Aniese also hopes to see a miracle like Leon before. Not long after an oddity occurred while the Ritual was still proceeding properly, the bright Light gradually turned black.

The books that were flying were falling, as well as Lark was still in a closed-eye state. The light completely turned Black, leaving Aniesse panicking and wanting to jump from the 2nd floor to help Lark. But she did not dare to approach Lark because there was a terrifying Aura trying to strangle her if she dared to approach or disturb her Ritual.

" Witch Magic - Tide Wave "

In a state of panic, he cast his magic to go against the laws of the Ritual. He wished his sister nothing had happened as a black light appeared to illuminate him. According to some stories when black light appears as a substitute for actual light, it will cause havoc to those who perform the Ritual.

Black light can appear when someone who is reckless to do the Book Summoning by force or do it in one year 2 times, or, because previously it has been made a ban to do summoning 2 times a year by the Great Witch to avoid the catastrophe that can cause death to the ritual.

Lark had not made a summon in his entire life, when he made his first call. He did not realize that there was a disaster coming to him, in a closed-eye state of course he was not aware of it.

Aniese was still trying to fight the Ritual Laws with all the abilities she had, but her magic power could not defeat the power of black magic. He still continued to try it, despite draining all of the Mana within his body, only for his dear sister he was willing to spend the Mana he had accumulated over these past few months.

It had been half an hour when Lark entered the Hall Room, Lark had previously been told by his brother when his ritual was finished then there would be a voice telling him to open his eyes. But the voice did not exist and made Lark feel tired because he continued to stand in his place without moving a bit.

Thinking there would be no sound whispering him, Lark slowly opened his eyes. The instant the Black Light became cracked and shattered as Lark was about to open his eyes, so did the black aura that attacked Aniesse eliminate like a gust of wind.

Aniese was surprised by the loss of the black Aura, she came to her senses and immediately ran to see the state of Lark. Above the 2nd floor, he was still observing his state. When Lark opened his eyes, he didn't see a single book flying or glowing like the story from Leon and Yuka before.

There were only a few books dropped on the floor scattered around Lark, looking at the circumstances. Lark had previously known what kind of situation was inside the Book Hall Room because he had neither loved Mana nor had any Mana in his body. That was why he begged for himself to become a Magician, although being a lower level Magician was also not a problem for Lark.

Lark let out his breath, slowly leaving the Room feeling disappointed and sad. He also hopes that fate will side with him, become a magician and realize his goal of being a Magic Master.
