Engagement and End of Year

Days pass. Even tomorrow is December 31 and the day of my engagement with Zayn. Invitations have been spread for business colleagues as well as the immediate family of our three pairs of parents.

A lot of busyness is faced to the three pairs of parents. I headed to the office for a while to tackle some of the properties because the end of the year was a moment of hustle and bustle of all the properties on the island.

Mama strongly forbade me and asked that Anantha just do the job.

I don't want to just rely on Anantha because mama and papa's property is not just 1 or 2. I have to intervene to help her even though tomorrow is a day that will tire me from morning to night at the height of the engagement.

I rushed to the properties that were over the crowd.

I hung up the phone and went back to work at the office and managed several resorts and restaurants. I was quite overwhelmed, but all the staff were willing to help and work together.

While I was checking out one of papa's resorts, a staff approached me......

I immediately opened the contents of the envelope that was in the bucket handle of the red crater flower.

I was touched to read the letter. And smiles while holding those fragrant rose petals.

"Have you come home, baby?" ask papa

I just interrupted and sat next to Zayn.

I interrupted leaving them and obeying Zayn's words. Shower, change clothes and I go back down to meet them for dinner together. Dinner was down because we were all busy.

Zayn shifted the chair for me to sit down and let me. Mama got us some menus and filled our plates because she knew I was so tired of it that she let me sit. After dinner we talked about engagement things that will be done in Roof top a building because at the end of the event will be held a fireworks party at the turn of the year. That's an interesting thing.

The happy day has arrived. A lot of preparations were checked back before the exact time it arrived. The clock has shown at 7 pm, the makeup and the dresser and hair came and was chosen specifically by Mother Wilna who understood such things.

I rushed to take a shower for a while because the party would be very sultry. Then the stylists had their hands rounded. Someone helped me change the dress. After that I make my makeup but I want simple and inconspicuous. And lastly they styled my hair to beautify my look.

The clock has shown at number 9 there are many guests coming because the event will start at 10 pm. There are some local Balinese musicians filling my show by singing love songs of their works.

The core event is in sight. All the guests were silent for a moment as the MCs called Latif's family to take the stage. Then call Malik's family to go on stage.

"I as a parent will only be happy if my child is happy, I have lost many special moments with my daughter. Especially the sacred moment my daughter used to be. We put a ring on our partner's ring finger. When mounting the ring to Zayn's ring finger on the chimney sparkling fireworks and a sign of his change of year and that also became a sign that we were officially engaged.
