Don't Degrade my Status
My status

I am Arumi Nazwa Latif I am 25 years old now, I am married to a kind and loving man we have a son who is 3 years old. We come from a beautiful village in central Bali. My life was normal at first, we were always happy, and we loved the suffering we went through together. One day I felt a bad feeling was going to happen, and yes, an accident happened that took away my husband and son.

"Son, please, this is all the destiny of the Powerful" said my mother who embraced me.

I just cried considering all the events I've been through up until now. I have no regrets.

"Mom, don't I deserve them? Do I not deserve to be happy?" I don't feel my tears dripping.

"Darling, why do you think that? This is Fate, God knows you're strong, son, then he's testing you." Mom tried to comfort me.

"Mom, I don't mind this fate. But how are they with me?" my sobs are back.

Mother just hugged me who was crying sadly considering the fateful incident.

Days passed, not infrequently those who saw and knew my fate sympathized and pityed me. And there are also those who look down on my status.

"God what's my fault?" I just mumbled sadly remembering that.

After all these years, my sadness has also diminished. My mom and dad always make me happy. I started smiling, happy, and slowly forgot about it. I used to socialize with the people around my house.

"But I can't forget what happened" my heart said.

"Son, I always pray for you to be happy later" said my parents who understood what I was thinking. I sobbed and I did not hide my sorrow from my parents.

"Rumi you must rise. You still have a future, you still have us. Don't give up, you'll be happy later son" Comfort my mother to me.

I shut up and thought what you said was true. I must rise, I am still given age by God to be happy. To get through life and see my parents age happily together.

"Good ma'am, I'll hear you. Thank you mom was always there for me and always kept me calm" when I hugged my mom

"What kind of son can you help?" ask dad

"Ahk Rumi can prepare his own well, take it easy" I smiled and they smiled because yes I can prepare it myself because I majored in Language and Literature while sitting in high school.
