COMPETITIONS

The blistering weather of the day did not decrease the enthusiasm of the public watching the national level swimming match held in commemoration of National Education Day. Gauri and her father along with our cousins set off together for the venue of the match. The match starts at 0900

morning and we were there at 08:00 in the morning, considering that one of our cousins also attended the swimming match.

“Daddy ... Kak Bagas has arrived yes, we go directly to the waiting room players can only do?” ask Gauri.

Her father said, “After the aunt mia's phone call first, ask them where. ”

Gauri who is 6 years old feels impatient to meet with Kak Bagas to ask a lot about the match. The soul of this kepo feels that it has existed from birth. Gauri was very curious how this swimming match would be held. Bagas himself just this time following this match, he said, he is not in the first team or the main game because he is also 10 years old so he is in a match that is held specifically for prospective athletes who are still under 12 years old.

After receiving a call from Aunt Mia, we headed straight to the players waiting room to greet and cheer Kak Bagas before the match. Because the area is so large Gauri was left far behind

in the back, not even realizing which room his father entered. After a moment of confusion, Gauri saw a boy whose age was not far from Kak Bagas who appeared alone in front of a door that leads directly to the swimming pool arena.

Without further ado Gauri tried to approach the boy to ask the waiting room he wanted to go to.

“Hai, Brother knows Kak Bagas no? If you can ask him which room he is in, I'm far from Dad" said Gauri.

With an expressionless gaze he simply pointed his hand at a door that turned out not far from where they were standing. The door bears the name of the player who fills the room and has a name

Bagas.

“Makasih .. by the way Big Brother competed as well yes, the spirit yes hopefully won champion 2 because the champion 1 is definitely Kak Bagas, dadah” said Gauri.

There was only a small smile shown by the boy as Gauri went towards the door he had just shown. “Dad, if the road is very tight Gauri will be far behind earlier, fortunately there is a brother who told you which room," said Gauri while passing small towards his father.

“Whose sister Ri?” bagas.

“Ado who was Gauri forgot to ask her name who else, because her brother also did not say anything, he was telling her the room was also just using the index finger,” said Gauri.

Her father said, “Let's see you again ask her name is the same say thank you Ri, don't forget.”

“Iya yes," replied Gauri.

“Come all to the audience seats, the match will soon start he said, we do not disturb Bagas kasian him,” said Gauri's father.

“Daddy, it's Well its people Well that's under the same grandparents,” said Gauri.

“Oh that, the same age as Bagas. He also participated in the match also Ri, zahin also to win because he has helped you.” said Gauri's father.

Gauri replied to her father by saying.“Well, the 1st champion is still Bagas, the older brother who is the 2nd champion is a gapapa."

His father just smiled with his son's innocent answer. It looks like the game is about to start, all the players are already seen getting ready in their respective positions. Bagas and the boy stood right next to each other and smiled at each other. With the countdown the match began.

5 ... 4 ... 3 ... 2 ... 1 ...

The sound of whistles echoing throughout the swimming pool arena signaled the start of the match.

The match was quite fierce especially between the three players who looked more prominent than the others, they were Bagas, the boy who helped Gauri, and one other player who has the characteristics of his swimming glasses that he gives decoration. Gauri looked at the match with sparkling eyes.

In addition to his favorite cousin who is competing, Gauri himself has an interest in swimming because it is often invited by Bagas and his parents. Gauri's mother and father were busy with their jobs, so Gauri sometimes spent a lot of time alone. That led to a lot of time he spent playing with the Bagas family at their home.

Many of the voices issued by Gauri at the time indicated that she was very excited while watching the match.

“Ayo ... come ... come .. come on. Come on, Kak Bagas bit by bit again ... ahhhh .. yes let's go a little bit more.” Gauri's shout sounded so excited not to be outdone by the supporters of the other participants.

The sound of the whistle again echoed throughout the pool arena, this time signaling the end of the swimming match between participants under the age of 12. The participants rose to the surface and immediately headed to the podium where the winners of champions 1, 2 and 3 were established. As previously thought three children who look more prominent than the other children who gathered under the podium.

“Tadi who won Kak Bagas kan Yah .. well earlier Gauri ga complied because of the distance between them both,” said Gauri.

The two of them Gauri meant were between Bagas and the boy who helped her earlier. Gauri was so curious about the outcome of the match that she almost ran forward to see more clearly they were on the podium. The committee then told the three children to go up to the podium in accordance with their winning sequence.

The child who has decorations on his swimming glasses rises first and occupies the third champion, followed by Bagas and the other boy standing in positions two and one. Unexpectedly by Gauri, Bagas turned out to stand in the second champion and the boy who helped him stood in the first champion.

The shocked Gauri then said, “Loh kok is not Kak Bagas who won, yahh sebel ah.”

Gauri then went to the chair and sat down near her father again. His father saw his daughter's face looked upset and could immediately guess that Bagas was not the first champion. After sitting there for a while and watching another match, Gauri and her father went straight to the waiting room again to see the situation of Bagas who they thought would be quite disappointed with the result. Without lingering they rushed to the waiting room together with the other family.
