"There's an aunt who's on duty for that." Anna pulls her briefcase and smiles without d0sa waiting for her estranged husband to hear her answer.
"But, I want you to accompany them as well. Later, I'll try to get home as soon as possible and pick up Anan."
The look on his cheerful face, now turned tense. "I? Did you forget how your parents treated me? Don't deh. I'd better go to the salon and monitor their work." Anna's breath sounded a little hunting. She chose to walk ahead of her husband to leave the room without waiting any longer.
"Who? Where are you going?" Anna was immediately greeted with a woman's scorn that made her choose to dodge. The mother-in-law was smearing several pieces of bread in front of her with topings of various flavors.
Anan has not been seen, it seems Anan is still not finished preparing to go to school.
"I'm going to work, Ma." Anna pretended to open her bag, making her not look at her husband's mother at all.
"Aren't you pregnant young? Why not just rest at home?" ask the in-laws.
"Yes, getting pregnant won't hinder our activities, Ma." Anna chose to head towards Anan's room.
"Nan, are you ready yet? Let's have breakfast together." Anna glanced for a moment at the in-laws who were staring long at her. She deliberately avoided because she was afraid to feel awkward if only alone with the mother of her husband.
Anan hurriedly stuffed the school equipment into the bag. "Yes, Ma. Anan nyiapin books on schedule today."
Anna looked back at the in-laws. Apparently, he did not decide his gaze to watch Anna make him throw his face pretending to be busy with Anan. After finishing compiling the school equipment, Anna snatched the bag that belonged to her son.
"Here, let Mama take it."
Anan took it back. "Don't, Anan can be alone."
"Well, are you awake?" Anan approached the woman.
The woman, called Grandma, welcomed Anan's presence. "Well, handsome boy is getting ready for school?"
Anan nodded. "Anan has to go to school, Oma. Oma don't be sad, huh? When she gets home from school, Anan will go home to play with Oma."
The white-haired old woman chuckled rubbing Anan's hair. "Yes, you have to study hard? Let's pinter and be a great guy." The woman pulled up the chair that was nearby and asked Anan to sit there.
Anan glanced at the mother who had become a spectator of their familiarity. "Ma, sit here yuuk?" Anan patted the seat next to him.
"Mama is here. Mama's gonna make breakfast for your papa." Anna allowed Amar's favorite peanut butter, as a toping choice that Anna had already memorized.
"Currently, Anan? See this omamu? So unfortunately for you, Opa was just left behind by him," the old man who just came out of his room.
Anan came down from his stool chasing the sulking Opa. He immediately clasped Opa's hand and accompanied his steps. "Well, come on Opa. Sit next to Oma."
Amar came out of the room. He immediately sat down on the bench he used to sit on and pulled himself bread that had not been topped.
"Bang, I've prepared what's your favorite jam."
Amar did not mengubris and chose to eat bread without anything while sipping coffee.
"Anna, you just made a mistake with your husband? But, you're a really insensitive wife as it turns out."
