Detective Ryan sat down at his desk, watching the files in front of him carefully. The room was silent, except for the rustling sound of paper as he opened one file to another. He looked calm, but in his heart, there was an anxiety that kept haunting. There's a case he hasn't solved and it's been haunting his sleep for the past few weeks. He needs answers, he has to solve the case, but he doesn't know where to start.
Someone had killed a wealthy businessman in the city, and the evidence was so clear that the man was the housewife named Lisa, but there was something strange about the evidence. There were too many mistakes made by the perpetrator that made Ryan feel suspicious. She knows that something is wrong, but she can't find enough evidence to prove Lisa's innocence.
Ryan sat at his desk contemplating the case when a co-worker walked into the room. "How are you doing Ryan?" ask his co-worker. There's no new development on the case yet" Ryan replied, staring at the files on his desk.
"This case is indeed disturbing really huh?" said co-worker Ryan.
"That's right," replied Ryan.
"Maybe you need a short break from that case, Ryan. Sometimes, when we're constantly thinking about the same problem, we can feel stuck and can't look in the right direction" suggested Ryan.
Ryan agreed. "Maybe you're right. I will try to take a vacation for a while and forget about this case. Who knows, maybe I'll find a new way to solve it" Ryan said.
"Good idea, Ryan. I hope you can solve this case as soon as possible" Ryan's co-worker said as he exited the room.
Ryan pondered for a moment about his coworkers advice. He feels tired and frustrated, but he knows that he has to solve the case. He needs to find a way to prove Lisa's innocence and catch the real culprit
Meanwhile, Ryan receives a call from his co-worker, detective Harry. Harry tells him that there is a new case that needs to be dealt with immediately, which is a woman who went missing two days ago.
Ryan let out a long sigh, "Harry, I'm in big trouble with the case I'm dealing with right now. I can't help with a new case."
"But it's important, Ryan. The woman's family was very worried. And it's possible that this case is related to the case you're dealing with right now."
Ryan pondered for a moment, then finally took the decision to help deal with the new case. He will solve both cases simultaneously.
Arriving at the scene, Ryan meets the family of the missing woman. They provided a description of the woman, as well as information that she was 7 months pregnant.
Ryan immediately began an investigation, finding out who last saw the woman and checking CCTVs around the place. However, there was no clear clue as to the whereabouts of the woman.
Meanwhile, Lisa, who is still being held in prison, continues to contact Ryan, asking for help to prove his innocence. Ryan felt increasingly depressed, as the case got more complicated and many parties were involved.
The next day, Ryan is informed that there is a man who claims to have seen the missing woman in someone's hands. Ryan' immediately interrogated the man and finally got a clearer clue about the perpetrator.
The clue eventually leads Ryan to the case he is dealing with now, the murder case that ensnared Lisa. Ryan is increasingly convinced that there is a connection between the two cases and he must solve it immediately.
Ryan asks his partner, Detective Miller, to help him gather all the evidence related to Lisa's murder case. After they gathered at the police station, Ryan started talking.
Ryan: "We need to solve Lisa's murder. I'm sure there's a connection between this case and the one I dealt with before."
Miller: "What's the evidence?"
Ryan: "I've interrogated a man involved in
previous case. He's giving us very useful clues."
Miller: "Good. What's hint?"
Ryan: "She said that she saw someone come out of Lisa's apartment the night the murder happened. The man put on a mask and walked towards the car. He also gave the description of the car."
Miller: "We have to find out who owns the car."
Ryan: "I checked the police number. Turns out, the car was registered in the name of a man who worked as a farmhand."
Miller: "Hmm, doesn't seem to fit Lisa's killer profile."
Ryan: "Yes, but maybe the guy rented the car to the killer. We need to find out who rented the car."
They then began to explore who rented the car. After a few days, they discovered that the car was rented by a man who used a fake name. They immediately gathered information about the man and found that he had a history of crime.
Ryan: "We have to catch this guy right away before he runs away."
After a few hours, they managed to catch the man
When questioned, the man admitted that he was the perpetrator of Lisa's murder. She says that she is Lisa's ex-boyfriend who feels betrayed. He killed Lisa because he felt he could not accept the situation.
Ryan and Miller are relieved to have solved the case. They decide to have a meeting with Lisa's family and tell them that the perpetrator has been arrested.
Ryan: "We caught Lisa's killer. I hope this can bring peace to Lisa's family."
Lisa's family is moved and grateful to Ryan and Miller for their hard work. They are relieved that the case has been solved and the perpetrator has been arrested.
Ryan: Mr. and Mrs. Smith, I'm glad to be able to give you the good news that we've found the perpetrator of Lisa's murder.
Mr. Smith: Oh my God, that's very good news. Thank you so much, Detective Ryan and Detective Miller.
Mrs. Smith: We don't know what else to do without Lisa. Thank you for helping us solve this case.
Ryan: No need to thank me. This is our job as detectives. I'm glad to be able to help you and give justice to Lisa.
Mr. Smith: How was the perpetrator arrested? What the hell's going on?
Ryan: We got a lead from a witness who saw someone come out of Lisa's apartment that night. We interrogated the witness and were finally able to find the perpetrator.
Mrs. Smith: Thank God, the perpetrator was finally caught.
Ryan: Yeah, and we found that there was a link between Lisa's case and the other cases we were working on. We were finally able to solve both cases.
Mr. Smith: What connection do you mean?
Ryan: I can't give you the details right now, but we'll give you a full report as soon as possible. Importantly, the perpetrator has been arrested and justice has been served.
Mrs. Smith: Thank you very much, Detective Ryan and Detective Miller. We are very grateful for your hard work.
Miller: No need to thank, we are happy to help. This is part of our job as police.
Ryan: I would also like to thank you both for providing information and cooperation during this investigation.
Mr. Smith: We are always ready to assist the police in law enforcement and security.
Mrs. Smith: We hope Lisa can rest easy there for the justice that has been done.
Ryan: I'm sure he can. May the Smith family
I can feel relieved now
Miller: I agree, Ryan. This is proof that our hard work is never in vain. What about you, Lisa? Do you feel relieved now?
Lisa: (nodded) Yes, I feel very relieved. Thank you so much, Mr. Ryan and Mr. Miller. I don't know what would happen if there was no help.
Ryan: That's our job, Lisa. We will always strive to protect citizens and bring justice to victims.
Miller: Right, and now we have to give an official report on the case to our leadership and also to the side
Local police. We have to finish all the administrations related to this case.
Ryan: Right, let's get started. Thank you, everybody. I'll be back as soon as our report is finished.
Lisa: Thank you, Mr. Ryan and Mr. Miller.
After Ryan and Miller finished making the official report, they sent it to their leadership and to the local police. The case was considered a huge success for Ryan and Miller, and they were both satisfied with their work. They know that their work as detectives is never the end and there are always new cases waiting to be solved.
