Heavy Rain on Wedding Day

The sound of heavy rain filled the police station, reflecting the heavy feeling that Detective Ryan and Alex were feeling. They sat at their desks, looking at the photo of Emily stored there. It's been a year since Emily's case happened, but the shadow of the tragedy still haunts them

Detective Ryan: (sighs) "It's been a year, Alex. Feels like just yesterday we caught the perpetrator."
