Detective Ryan sat at his desk, tidying up the pile of files in front of him. A busy day at the local police station made her look tired, but suddenly her office door opened quickly, and a young woman named Dera walked in with a panicked face.

Dera: (gasps) Detective Ryan, something terrible happened! My husband, David, he's missing!

Detective Ryan raised his head, and looked at the anxious looking Dera. He immediately got up from his chair

Detective Ryan: (while approaching Dera) Quiet, Dera. Tell me what happened to your husband.

Dera: (stories) David is a successful businessman, and he has several business rivals. But the last few weeks, he received strange threats and letters that threatened our safety. And now, he's gone!

Ryan: (nodded) Well, we will conduct further investigation to ascertain what happened. But, we need to find evidence that can corroborate or eliminate these allegations.

Detective Ryan's investigation team returned to the scene and conducted forensic examinations, interrogated potential witnesses, and collected additional information. Detective Ryan: (while sitting between Dera and David) Well, we need to figure out what's really going on here. David, are you sure Dera did this?

David: (a resolute nod) Yes, I'm sure. I know his voice and his features. He threatened me earlier and had a motive to ruin my business.

Dera: (while crying) That's not true! I never did that! I have no reason to hurt David, he's my husband!

Detective Ryan: (observing both) Well, let's review the evidence. (indicating fingerprints found) These fingerprints were found where David was found. Dera, can you explain how your fingerprints got there?

Dera: (surprised) I don't know! I never went there!

David: (while pointing at Dera) Look! That's proof that he did this!

Dera: (crying) But that's not true! I never went to that barn!

Detective Ryan: (checking other evidence) And this is the threatening letter found in your house, Dera. Can you explain this letter?

David: (while frowning) It must have been him who sent the letter to scare me!

Detective Ryan: (while trying to make sense of the situation) Well, it looks like there are a lot of questions to answer. We will continue to conduct further investigations to find out who is really responsible for this.

After several days of intensive investigation, Detective Ryan's team finally finds evidence that points to the real culprit. As it turns out, the threatening letter and fingerprints found were the result of fabrications done by an Abuser was actually a former employee of David who felt hurt because he was fired. Perpetrator: (silent for a moment, then admitted) All right, I did it! I was upset about being fired by David and wanted to make him suffer. I had access to the scene and knew about their troubled domestic relations, so I planned this.

Dera: (while crying) Unbelievable! I never thought someone close to us would do this!

David: (with a sigh of relief) Thank you, Detective Ryan, for proving that Dera is innocent. I am so sorry to blame him.

Detective Ryan: (while nodding) All is part of our job to find the truth.

The perpetrator was eventually arrested and faced with legal proceedings. Dera and David are relieved and grateful that the truth is finally revealed
