وَيَسْـَٔلُوْنَكَ عَنِ الْمَحِيْضِ ۗ قُلْ هُوَ اَذًىۙ فَاعْتَزِلُوا النِّسَاۤءَ فِى الْمَحِيْضِۙ وَلَا تَقْرَبُوْهُنَّ حَتّٰى يَطْهُرْنَ ۚ فَاِذَا تَطَهَّرْنَ فَأْتُوْهُنَّ مِنْ حَيْثُ اَمَرَكُمُ اللّٰهُ ۗ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ يُحِبُّ التَّوَّابِيْنَ وَيُحِبُّ الْمُتَطَهِّرِيْنَ - ٢٢٢

Meaning:

“And they ask you (Muhammad) about menstruation. Say, “It was something dirty.” Therefore, stay away from wives at the time of menstruation; and do not approach them before they are holy. When they are holy, mix them according to the (determination) which Allah has commanded you. Verily, Allah loves the penitent and loves the one who purifies himself.” (Al Baqarah verse 222).

There is modern science that proves that there are dangerous factors when it comes to*** during menstruation or after dirty blood stops but is still in the menstrual period.

One of the dangers that can occur because having sex when menstruating can experience uterine infections. During menstruation, the cervix opens so that it can cause germs or bacteria to enter the uterus when penetration.
