Chapter 10

Lio and the D'hunters went outside looking at the situation. Next to their headquarters were some vacant land that was only grown by weeds.

"Here" said the short-statured young man with his round glasses.

They followed him until they came to the empty land. With the help of moonlight and flashlight, faint but clearly visible there are some human flesh splattered there.

"Ugghhh" muttered Nada. "It's so rotten"

"I didn't suspect the smell of carrion here before. But today the smell is very clear. I've been careful, this is not a carcass of animals. This is a human carcass" Viro explained.

"How do you know this isn't a dead animal?" said Brian.

"There's a few splashes of cloth, I think it's a shirt. And you saw there. I found a human leg. Next to that is also the hand of a woman, even still there is a wedding ring"

Without disgust Lio approached the meat splash. He fiddled with his hands.

"Look, he's not even disgusted at all with these rotten meats" Tiara murmured.

While Nada still observes some of the meat. He also saw Lio's movements as if talking to himself.

"Master, there are traces of demonic air in some parts of this piece of meat. Did you feel it?"

"You're right. If I don't guess wrong this might be the work of the demon Pharoh" Lio muttered while still examining some of the rotten meat.

"You're right, demon Pharoh is very fond of human flesh. But, if he were to eat these humans, it would be a very powerful aura that was emitted. But this is just a faint"

"We'll find out after investigating" Lio stood up and shook his hand. "You, come here" he said without pointing at anyone.

"Who does he mean?" said Viro.

"Why shut up? Come and see this demon's air" continued Lio.

"Ah, alright" Nada went over to Lio.

"Since when was Nada so familiar with that person?" tiara Mumbles.

"Cannot be allowed. Nada was too careless to bring strangers here" said Brian, who looks unhappy with Lio.

"But, he looks very competent"

"What competition? He just acted. Besides, where's Kenan?"

"Ah, he's probably still at the restaurant. He and I are going to buy some grilled sate ribs across the street. I went home first because I forgot to bring my wallet, I didn't know I found this" explained Viro.

The three of them saw Nada and Lio talking.

"You seen him?" lio said while thrusting out a lump of human femur.

"Ugghhh, keep that away from me. I want to vomit" Nada said as she held back from letting out her entrails.

"Humans are indeed very weak" Lio muttered as he threw the meat in all directions. "Rapidly look and observe carefully. Did you see the same air around here?"

"Huh, I just saw it faintly. Did you find anything?" said the tone while covering his nose.

"Hemmm ... According to my observation. It could have been Pharoh's demon"

"Devil Pharoh? I've never heard of it"

"You don't need to know, just observe the area around whether there is the same air"

Tone also circulated his view of the entire empty land.

"Hemmm ... Youre right. Over there emitting the same though faint air" Nada said as she pointed at the small path leading to the forest.

"Good, follow the air" Lio was about to go in Nada's direction, but the tone stopped him. "What's wrong?"

Nada and Lio returned to the base.

"What are they talking about?" said Viro.

"Who believes him? After tonight, we have to change base. And don't let Nada bring strangers into our base. After this I need to talk to him"

After a while later, they all gathered inside the headquarters while Lio was still in the toilet to clean himself up.

"Why should I move headquarters? After all, he has no ill intentions towards us. He only asked for my help to see the evil air" said Nada.

"You, I've told you how many times. He might just be a demon spy" said Brian, who was full of emotion.

"Hey, come. Don't be that emotional"

"Can't, if you don't throw him out. Don't expect you'll continue to be in the D'hunter" he warned.

"Brian, you can't say that. We still need Nada to see the devil. After all we're like family, how can we be apart?" tiara.

"What demon's air? His ability is just a prank"

"Stay away from me" Lio said as he shifted his gaze. "I don't have much time. Quickly show me the way"

Tone immediately rose from his seat.

"You ... You didn't hear my words" Brian said angrily.

"Sorry chairman, at least I'll try once to trust Lio. After that, it is up to the chairman to do what" said Nada confidently.

"At least, I believe that he would not kill a human for no reason. At least he believed what I saw. I'll try to believe it" Inner Nada while looking at Lio.

Everyone there was silent. Nada is the youngest member there. He was always considered his own brother by them. But Brian was too hard on him.
