The Cry of Friends

Brenda is currently inside her room. Since meeting with Darren the lover where his lover does not remember him until the end Brenda decided to go home. He will not focus on attending the lecture because the only thing on his mind is Darren.

Liana and her other son and daughter were now in the living room. They all thought about Brenda's condition, who was sad again.

"Son Ziggy, son of Noe, son of Enzo, son of Devian, son of Chico! What's actually going on? Why are you asking all of us to come to the Smith family residence?" ask Dario.

Erland stood up from her seat and moved to sit near her two sons. Erland sat between Gilang and Darka.

Erland pulled Gilang's body slowly and carried him into her arms. Erland hugged him tightly.

"Papa... Papa! Darren," said Gilang as he sobbed.

"Tell Papa. What's up?"

"Darka and I met Darren on campus. But.... But..."

Hearing the words from Gilang made Erland instantly feel an uneasy feeling. His heart was pounding so strongly. He is not ready to hear anything about his beloved son.

If the news is good, Erland will be happy many times over. But if it was bad news, then Erland would not be able to accept it.

Hearing the confessions and stories from Gilang and Darka made everyone present at the Smith family home instantly know the reason Ziggy, Noe, Enzo, Devian and Chico had told them to come.

"It's not just us who know Darren's condition. Brenda and her seven best friends also knew it" Rehan said.

Hearing Rehan's words made the Smith family members shocked. They're all worried about Brenda.

"What was Brenda's condition when she found out that Darren didn't remember her?" ask Evan.

"Brenda was so happy when she saw Darren coming to campus. Brenda ran over and hugged Darren. But a few seconds later, Darren released Brenda's hug with a slight roughness. Even Darren speaks loudly in front of Brenda" Willy said.

One month or so they're looking for Darren's whereabouts. One month more they missed Darren. But suddenly they get news about Darren not recognizing them at all.

"Don't tell me that the person you helped yesterday was Darren!" exclaim Angga's eldest brother Willy.

Hearing the narration from Angga made everyone look at Angga.

"Figures, you!"

David looked at his eldest son's face to ask for an answer from his son.

"Yes, Pa! I got reports from some of my members. They were circling Hamburg to find Darren. But in the middle of the road they saw a fight. The people fighting in those streets were Qenan, Willy, Axel, Dylan, Jerry, Rehan and Darel."

Angga looked back at the faces of his younger brother and his friends.

"Willy, Qenan, Axel, Dylan, Jerry, Rehan, Darel!"

"Yes. We were fighting against about 24 people dressed in black. Those people were trying to harm Darren" Willy replied.

"At first we didn't know that the young man was Darren, because at the time of the fight, Darren was still wearing his helmet" Qenan said.

"Before me and Qenan, Willy, Axel, Jerry, Rehan and Darel knew that the young man was Darren. We watched his fighting ways. The way he fought was so similar to Darren that it immediately made us remember Darren. And after that, we helped the young man." Dylan told me about the incident where he and his friends helped Darren.

"Short story, when it's over. The young man opened his helmet. Maybe he thinks it's rude to talk to people who have helped him by still wearing a helmet. When the helmet came off and showed his face. We were all surprised. And it turned out to be true. The one who fought alone was Darren." Rehan said softly. And don't forget the tears that have flowed.

"We ran to embrace him. We miss him so much. But unexpectedly, Darren rejected us. Darren doesn't remember us" Darel said in a soft voice.

Qenan, Willy, Axel, Dylan, Jerry, Rehan and Darel all burst into tears as they recalled their first encounter with Darren after moving on for more than a month.

Dario, Aldez, David, Dellano, Valeo Eric and Hendy stood up from their seats and walked over to their youngest son.
