“Gue go first.”
“Yoi, Bro.”
These two guys in front of my eyes were posing before one of them left this room. Reno rubbed her head before it completely passed.
After he had completely walked out of this room, my gaze fell on Zain who was sitting on the bench beside the bed, his hands busy peeling the skin of the red apple in his hand.
“Why didn't you say it?”
Zain. “If permission first, surely you will not be good again,” he replied while condensing apples that have been cut in the mouth and I received.
I really don't think it out. What kind of twins she is, leaving me with someone who obviously has disappointed me.
“But Reno was cheating,” my crap is still chewing an apple in the mouth, staring at the window that connects directly to the sunny weather this afternoon.
“Reno no cheating.”
I'm not replying, it's true that there's no evidence that Reno cheated on me, but what's the reason she's been more concerned about Rissa than me lately.
“Yes already, Ara wants to go outside, bored here.”
Zain shook his head.
I stared at him with a heartfelt look hoping he would let me out of this very boring room.
He glares. “Can't!”
“Why can't you?”
“Lo's feet are still not healed.”
I blamed his attention. “Who said walk?”
“Kalo is not running, how can I get out?”
I spread my hands to him. He frowned, confused perhaps.
“Gendong,” my whine while smiling.
“Manja!” said it. “Behold, I asked the doctor first.” He walked out of this room, left me alone.
Not long after, he came in with a wheelchair. I woke up from the bed, pain in the legs and head did not feel as sick as before.
I shook my head as he interrupted me to sit in a wheelchair.
“Ara don't want to be in a wheelchair.”
“What do you want?”
“Wear aja stick if you do not want to carry.”
Zain shook his head then crouched to his back. I who understood his point immediately put a hand on his neck.
“Lo was spoiled habit with Reno, so gini, a little ask for a sling!”
I'm spoiled?
I pulled my hand back from his neck. He lay back on the bed, staring at the window. For some reason, hearing that word I was a little sad. Do I trouble people too much when spoiled? Can't I spoil him? He's my twin, what's wrong? Bang Rey, he's the only one who really understands me.
“Lo baperan really.”
I looked down and felt the eyes begin to heat up. Am I too baperan? Too spoiled?
“Don't cry, very crybaby.”
My hands clenched not staring at him. “Go!”
Silent.
“Sorry.”
I turned my gaze to her who had passed out just like that after saying a single word. I am a fool!
My gaze turned to the wheelchair that Zain was carrying. I should've gone outside in that wheelchair.
“Eh Ara ?”
Someone was seen flicked in the door that I believed to be a nurse, as seen from the clothes she was wearing. I rubbed my slightly wet eyes and then smiled at him.
The nurse approached and sat on a bench beside the bed.
“Hai, Sister,” I said smile.
He chuckles. “No need to call a nurse, I'm still an intern here, my name is Tina, call me aja.”
“Iya, Sister Tina.”
He smiled and pulled the wheelchair closer to the bed.
“You want to take a walk? Must be bored inside here, the air is not good, it is better outside,” he said patting the wheelchair.
I'm nodding. He helped me stand up and sit in a wheelchair. Actually I want to walk, but it's not good to ask someone I just know.
“I'm so happy you're cured, ahh! You're my first patient!” it looks happy.
I stared at the hospital hallway. Where's Zain?
The girl kept rambling while pushing the wheelchair I was in, whether it was her High School, her college, her family, everything she told me. I was a little amused to hear his story.
“I also have a younger brother your age,”.
I stared at him for a moment and then looked back to the front. “Oh, yes?”
It's a little thump. “Name Vano.”
I'm nodding. “Good name.”
The wheelchair stopped walking, Tina walked in front of me then crouched down.
“Not only the name is good but also the person, very handsome, you know, he just came home a few days ago.”
I just hear the story. This intern looks very excited to tell his sister, of course I can't bear to interrupt it.
“This time he's here, you have to meet him, where know the soul mate, want ya? She's coming soon.” A wide grin was plastered on the cute face of the girl.
“Bby.” I'm nodding.
He smiled again pushing the wheelchair, not even a few steps the wheelchair stopped again.
“Bentar, pick up the phone first.”
I just nodded.
“Halo, No.”
“Kakak again in the hospital aisle.”
“Taman?”
“But sister to there.”
That is what my ears hear. The girl put her phone back in her uniform.
“Sorry, yes, old,” he said smiling.
“Ga pa-pa, Brother.”
This wheelchair back he pushed down the aisle of the hospital. The girl rattled back along the hospital hallway, this time talking about her handsome sister. I only listen to it occasionally nodding assentively. I remember Rey bang, she said her type is spoiled and chatty. Can I match her with this apprentice sister?
“That's my sister.” Point it at a figure sitting on a hospital park bench.
I just nodded not knowing what to talk about, should I say handsome? While his face had not been seen because he turned his back on us.
“No!” call Tina.
The guy turned around.
“Dede?” muttered.
“Dede?” reset Tina. Looks like a frown from his forehead.
I'm nodding. It's true it was Dede, my old friend at Junior High.
“Ara ?”
I nodded at Dede while smiling.
“Yeah, it turns out lo in this hospital, tired I way to everywhere.”
Nah!
Dede grimaced to look at her brother who had just floated a line. While Tina just smiled with her eyebrows up and down. Next the girl pulled Dede's hand away a little from me. There was a whispering event from them. The grumpy brother and the pouting Dede. I don't know what they're talking about so I have to stay away from me.
“Ekhem! Ara big brother has a meeting for a while, so you're the same Vano first, huh?”
After saying that Tina walked away by glancing towards Dede. I'm confused, indeed the apprentice sister has a meeting, huh?
“Gebet adekku!” As soon as Tina shouted before disappearing from the turn.
Dede averted his gaze by scratching his nape.
“Do not listen to my brother,” he said.
“Iya.”
Dede pushed the wheelchair closer on the park bench. Next he walked in front of me, his forehead wrinkled, about to squat back up again. I don't know what he's doing. Pacing back and forth occasionally rubbing the head of the huff.
“Why the hell?” my many.
He looked up while scratching the back of his head.
“That's it, you want to sit in the garden chair, right?” tanyakanya.
I'm nodding.
“Well it,” he said.
Of course I'm confused. Well that's what?
“Lo can rise by yourself?” tanyakanya.
I'm shaking. Just get out of bed, Tina helps. He leaned forward, took a slow breath and then threw it away. What's wrong with her? Want lahiran?
“Sorry, yes,” he said.
His hand held at the base of my arm. Make this body stand with legs that are slightly tiptoed due to pain. I don't know because of the wind what my legs felt like suddenly numb making me want to not have to hold on to Dede completely. He jumped, probably because my hand was already perched on his shoulder. The look on his face I can't read.
A little glued to see it. Just realized that his face was very firm with his jaw looking solid. Maybe it was because he was fat so it looks cute, now inversely proportional, his face looks firm and mature maybe because of the increasing age and his body also does not look fat at all, even dashing in my opinion.
He cleared his throat then sat himself on a park bench.
“Em ... Sa, I'm going to the bathroom first, yes.”
I haven't answered that he left yet. I looked back at the other patients who were also many in this park. I breathed a lot of air. Refreshed.
It felt too quiet to be in this crowded place. I lay my head on the back of the chair, staring at the special little girl ahead. It appears that the woman who was his mother was painstakingly feeding the little boy. Mother's love is amazing. How are you doing with mom?
“Sa, sorry long.”
I just stared at Dede. The guy sat down next to me and then poured the porridge.
“For lo.”
I'm shaking. I don't like porridge.
“Come on, lo just this morning conscious and have not eaten anything.”
“Where to know?”
“Sister Tina, so eat now.”
I'm back to shaking. Staring at the porridge it feels like not wanting, let alone eating. I've eaten hospital porridge and it feels really bad. Tasteless. Have no taste. Bitterer. It's like Reno's promise.
“Ya udah.” He put the porridge on the end of the park bench.
We both fell silent.
“So call lo at home, Vano?”
He nodded. “Cuma lo doang call me Dede.”
I'm mangosteen. Dede's name is actually Devano Ariansyah but I prefer to call him Dede if friends at Junior High school used to call him Devan. A little different might be better.
“That's Reno, yes?” Point it at the two figures sitting in front of it.
My eyes narrowed to clarify the object in question. Right, it's Reno and ... Rissa. My chest feels tight. So he quickly went just for a walk in the park with the girl? But I have no right to ban it anymore. We have broken up, but this heart remains unwilling. I gave him tears to come down, turned his back on Dede so he wouldn't see this fool crying.
Dede ran over the two figures. Seen from a distance they spoke, Reno got up from sitting down following Dede's steps to get away a little from the girl.
I chose to close my eyes. Tired of seeing life stories that seem to revolve there.
My forehead twitched in silence from hearing the commotion around. I opened my eyes, it was really crowded in front. I can't just get up, my legs are still hurting, what's in there?
Security officers came to enter the crowd center. Everyone started to disperse. Reno and Dede were standing in front of the security guard. From a distance, I could still see the faces of those who both looked angry.
Dede quickly ran towards where I was sitting.
“Why?”
Dede's silent.
“Why the hell, De?”
He looked over, looking soft at the corner of his lips. My hands are stretched out to wipe it.
“Lo Reno's girlfriend?”
My hand stopped wiping her softly, dropping her hand down and not answering her question, my lips felt faint to answer no.
“Gue go first.”
“Tapi—”
I haven't had a chance to talk, that guy has left me alone. Doesn't anyone in the world understand me? Do I have to sit here until night? By himself?
I closed my eyes again, leaning on the chair. Why did everyone just leave me?
“Ara .”
Suddenly I opened my eyes to look at two figures who lately always make wounds in the heart. What are they here for? Showing affection?
“Kalo want to be friendly don't be here! Go Lo both!”
Reno shook her head then crouched down in front. What the fuck? I speak unheeded?
“Sister Rosa, Rissa is sorry, and there is also a wish for Rissa to talk to both sister.”
Reno nodded and smiled. Hmh! Keep on thinking about your girlfriend!
The girl stepped up first, leaving me with Reno here.
“Ayo.” Reno patted his shoulders.
“Wear wheelchair only!”
“No need, go up aja.”
“Wheel seat!”
“Gendong aja,” he said smiling.
I folded my hands in front of my chest. Can't she give up on someone who's sick?
“Aaa!” My reflexes were stretched out on his neck.
He smiled as if innocence had made my heart beat. Couldn't her smile be a little bit bitter?
“Turunin!”
He shook his head as he stepped with his arms propping his body on his shoulders and legs. Throughout the hospital hallway people kept staring at me and Reno. Embarrassing.
Arriving in my room, Reno lowered this body on the bed. Staring at Rissa who was standing next to the window. What pain did the girl get so she could still stand?
Reno left the room after leaving one swab at the head.
Rissa turned her head after the door closed from the outside. He approached and sat down on the bench beside the bed. His gaze looked brightly staring far at the street that was visible from the window. I don't know what the girl thought.
I'm sorry if it doesn't match your expectations.
