Cursed Night

Cursed Night
CHAPTER (30): Late Regret

Tere stood in front of the church gate, staring around the beautiful and cool church. But the new peace he can vanish when he hears the voice of the quarrelsome. Tere's gaze locked on a sweet girl and a handsome man who were fighting not far from him, so that he could see and hear their quarrel.

They were like a couple fighting, a couple, Tere knew that eavesdropping on the conversation and even the other person's quarrel was not true but that one of the two people also fought in a public place so that everyone could see it.

"I don't want a divorce, remember I'm pregnant with your son mas, your flesh and blood."

The woman clasped the man's hand tightly and took him to his distended stomach which Tere estimated was the same age as her, which was 9 a month.

Tere's two eyes glared in disbelief as the man instead pushed his heavily pregnant wife, the agonizing groan of the woman completely ignored by the lecherous man.

Tere's hands clenched firmly at the man's next act of spitting at the woman and then scolding her violently, as if she were a very despicable animal.

"From the beginning I didn't want us to get married, what happened between us was a one-night mistake that resulted in that damn fetus!"

Despite often saying the word "Fucking fetus" to her own baby, Tere still felt sick hearing it. Tere knew what the woman was feeling, the woman was hurt and hurt but she kept trying to maintain the marriage.

"Mas, I beg you not to divorce me. I don't want this kid not to have a dad... I realized I was wrong that night for getting drunk so we made that mistake, but don't divorce me. Hiks hiks."

Tere did not know what was happening at this time, the sound of church bells for both times made Tere turn to the church in front of him and look at the couple's husband and wife alternately.

Tere's eyes began to tear and tears began to flow down his cheeks, his chest tight, and he had difficulty breathing as events after events he had been through for nine months began to fly in his memory.

Graduation night.

Clubs

Drunken.

Gerald.

Stimulating drug.

Aryans.

Impregnated.

Weddings.

Baby accents.

And hate Aryan.

Instantly Tere's body squeezed, his legs unable to hold his weight again until he held on to the church fence.

Then Tere's gaze on the young couple saw the woman looking tearful and trying to restrain the man's departure, but the man still left, leaving the woman crying and falling on the ground.

"Arya," said Tere first to mention the name Arya in a soft tone without any hatred.

"As I love you mas, don't divorce me, don't leave us mas!" the woman cried sobbing staring at her husband's speeding car.

Tere's hand involuntarily rubbed his large belly gently at the sight of the woman's agony trying to endure the pain of wanting to give birth, she said, Tere wanted to help the woman, but his legs felt faint just to walk towards the woman.

Soon passers-by began helping the woman but she was unconscious, and Tere could only pray to God to give her and her future children salvation.

"No, I won't end up the same as that woman... Arya loves me, she can't possibly do something as depraved as this."

"But Aryans are just ordinary people with limits on patience."

"No! I don't want it all to end... I admit I made a big mistake... But I'm not ready for Arya to go to the torment, the torment" cried Tere, remembering his inhumane and even very evil deeds.

"God gave his people a second chance to right their wrongs, I deserve a second chance to be back with Arya. L'm... I don't know what I feel for Arya, but I'm not ready to face this world alone anymore."

Tere held onto her chest which was painful as the shadow of Arya's thin smile as she treated him harshly, as Arya never reciprocated her cruel treatment, and never once did Arya treat him rude when he was wrong for bringing Arya in her pregnancy.

Tere knew he was wrong to think he was the one who felt the most pain and hurt, he only thought about himself not being ready to be a mother, without thinking about whether Arya was ready to be a father.

"I have to go to Arya and apologize to her, then we will live happily together with this child... No one can separate us, I'm sure Arya will forgive my mistakes because she loves me."

Tere tried to convince her little heart, then wiped the tears on her cheeks trying to smile and string up beautiful words to apologize to Arya.

When he felt ready to face Arya, Tere stepped into the church. Tere's heart beat faster when he was at the door of the church, Arya was standing in front of the cross of God.

"Let's go Tere, tell Arya, apologize to her and then you'll start a happy new life."

Tere tried to convince himself, then stepped towards Arya but he did not see any water on the floor, until he fell down and his stomach touched the floor violently.

Tere now knew how much pain the woman was suffering but why did she have to go through the same thing?

Tere whimpered in pain, holding his large stomach firmly trying to strengthen his prospective son to face the impact on the floor earlier, but the blood flowing on both legs made Tere panic and looked at Arya.

Tere wanted to scream as loud as possible, asking Arya for help but her voice seemed to be swallowed by the pain she felt, until he could only extend his hand trying to call Arya but not a word came out of his lips.

"Strong baby, don't leave mom. Forgive your mistakes all this time, forgive your mother who always said rude to you, forgive your mother who could never accept your presence. You realize that you are not a good mother, but you want to start from the beginning. Don't go Nak ...

Tears welled up on his cheeks as his gaze fell upon the cross of God, was this God's recompense for all his faults in Arya and her son?

But why should he accept the recompense of his sin when he has realized his sin and wants to make it right? Tere stared at the nanar Arya who was still praying and the prayer that came out of Arya's mouth made Tere realize that he was...

The most despicable and sinful man in the world, for having wasted a golden-hearted man like Arya, for having despised the presence of Arya and the fetus in her belly.

"I realize that I'm not a nice guy who deserves a woman as good as Tere, but I just want you to promise to keep looking after her and give her happiness in her life after we split up, I realize you hate divorce and don't forgive your divorced people. So let this sin of divorce I bear it and keep Tere from the recompense of this sin of divorce."

Arya looked expectantly at the cross of God in front of her and turned around to leave the church, but what she saw on the doorstep of the church, was able to make her heart stop beating for a few seconds.

"THERE!"
