CHAPTER (28): Meeting In The Church

Is there still time I have

to ask forgiveness from you?

Tere stood in front of a large white-painted building with a sign of a cross on the wall, above the door.

"Is it still appropriate for me to enter your holy house, Lord?" tanya Tere stared at the rather famous church in the capital. Tere's tears spilled as she remembered she had never again set foot in the house of God during the nine months of her pregnancy.

Tere wanted to step into a church that looked lonely on a typical day, as it usually opened on Sundays.

"I'm a despicable woman, I've broken every single one of your teachings. In fact... Even I toyed with the marriage-bonding saint, are you still willing to accept a despicable woman like me?"

Tere's heart ached and ached, his legs felt so stifled just to step. For she was aware that she was a despicable woman who did not deserve to enter the sanctuary of the house of God.

Tere just stayed in front of the church, doing nothing. His heart and soul are at war between entering or leaving.

"I just wanted to ask for her blessing and apologize, then why can't I go in?" tare asked inwardly.

But his other inner voice refused and said, "Do you have no glass in Tere's house? Look at you you're pregnant out of wedlock, you'll get divorced when the child is born, God hates divorced couples. At least don't add to your sin by defiling the sanctity of the house of God."

"Enough! I will not go inside, I will not commit a great sin by soiling the house of the Lord with my sin."

Tere prefers to step back to leave the church, because he thinks this step is better. Perhaps he will no longer be able to enter the holy house of God because during his life sin will still haunt his life, even though he will leave the sin.

And that sin is Arya and the fetus in her. An eternal sin that can never disappear, because sin is alive and always fills his life every moment even second.

"I'll come back here, after I'm gone forever from my sin, I hope you'll still accept me later God. I'm sorry, because I can't see you and pray at your house, it's all because I feel so dirty. Once this wedding ring is out of my finger, then I will return to your path, the true and holy path."

Tere continued to step back without looking back, until he did not realize there was someone who a few minutes ago noticed him and was surprised by his presence in front of the church. The man looked at her with a curious look, as this was the first time he had seen Tere in the church. It turned out that Tere was secretly covering his true identity by behaving like a woman who had no heart, but his heart was very fragile and weak.

Tere immediately turned around and was about to apologize but his apology was swallowed in his throat upon seeing the person. The man he hated so much and the greatest sin of his life that he could no longer set foot in the Church, because he felt dirty.

Tere would not apologize to the person in front of him. It should have been the man who apologized to her even kneeling at her feet because of the man's fault, even though here he was wrong. The question that the man asked made Tere angry because the man seemed to question his belief.

"Why are you here?"
