Part 3 Matchmaking

At Melodi's parents' residence, receive a guest arrival from Papa Max's co-worker. The atmosphere of the luxury house looks crowded with Melodic matchmaking plans with foreign men being the husband of choice of parents.

Melody who was still inside her room, she stared at her reflection in front of the makeup glass. Her face looks beautiful with a thin makeup polish with a pink brucat dress that is in line with her pashmina hijab. Melodi chose to wear the hijab only because of an important event for the Islamic religion is obliged to use the hijab as it is today. Although she has not been Istiqomah hijab and has not been interested in hijab as well as her mother who spread the aurat does not mean to be the subject of racism.

Melodi sighed harshly when she saw herself being forced by her parents to get acquainted with the son of her papa business partner.

"Huh, do I have to meet a foreign man who will become my husband? Why are Papa and Mama in such a hurry to find a replacement for my fiancee and continue my failed wedding? My husband's candidate is gone, and then I have to marry another man on my wedding day according to a scattered invitation?"

"Young lady! The great lord's friend has arrived!" said Aunt Lesti while knocking on Melodi's bedroom door.

"Yes, wait a minute. I'll be there soon." said Melodi a little scream. Tidying up her makeup tools on the dresser and seeing her face that looks perfect beautiful.

"I'm beautiful, it's time I met them." Melody got up from her seat and she walked up to the door to get out of the room.

From a distance, Melodi saw faintly the voice was joking. He quickened his footsteps to approach them.

"Hi all! Sorry to bother me for too long" said Melodi who had stood before them.

Mama Siska turned her head towards the sweet smiling Melodi.

"Melody, let's just sit here. Mama and Papa want to know you as your father's business partner's son."

Melody nodded in agreement and sat on the money sofa to the left of her mother. He stared at a handsome but geeky-dressed man with his thick round glasses.

"Will he be the husband of my parents' choice? But, why do I see this man has no rich and luxurious lifestyle. Really, disgusting once, how could I be attracted to a geeky man like him." Inner Melody with an eye toward that geeky man.

A geeky man who feels intensely stared at by a beautiful woman dressed in Muslim clothing makes himself feel misbehaved. He turned his face the other way to avoid Melody's eyes.

"It's so pretty that woman, I see she's a Soleha woman. I feel so insecure to live with her after marriage" Alex said in his heart.

"Alright, we can start the conversation," said Papa Max to the Rizo family who nodded to say his words.

"Include this beautiful woman my daughter, her name is Melodi Alexander. Graduated S2 Communication science, his job as an entrepreneur in the field of fashion. My son is still single because he has not been able to find a replacement for his fiance who died 2 months ago. Then, if there is anything to ask." explained Papa Max is promoting a Melody that only stroke the chest because all his identity is the subject of conversation.

"I'm Sir" Alex said with an awkward smile.

"Don't call me father who sounds formal, just call papa just to be close and comfortable" said Papa Max made Alex's face red blushing.

"Yes sir, uh sorry I mean papa. I want to save money to raise capital to open a company. I don't want to bother both of my parents because it costs me a lot."

Melody only cuek duck heard the words of a geeky man - Alex who seemed to seek sympathy for his parents.

"Melody, you want to ask Alex something?" ask Papa Max on the melody that looks silent.

"There's Pa, just one question. Can be answered if you can answer my question if you can't answer yes it's okay." replied Melodi lightly.

Papa Max and Mama Siska who feel wrong with the child. They instantly gave a sharp look full of meaning. While Melodi who felt stared at sharply was only ordinary.

Alex smiled sweetly in front of Melody.

"Yes, please Melodi," said Alex who heard the name Melodi from both parents.

"Why do you want to be betrothed to me? What is your purpose for this match?" the sarcastic question Melodi managed to make Alex's smile fade and be replaced with a wry smile.

"Why would Melodi ask me such a question? Does she have any doubts about this match?" ask Alex in your heart.

The melody waiting for an answer from Alex was silent. He left both his parents and his business partner.

"If you can't answer my question, just ignore it. Excuse me first, there's an important job I need to do." Melody stood up from her seat and she wanted to leave the family room. Just as Melodi was walking two steps, she heard Alex's words.

"Because I cannot conquer one woman as my companion. I hope from this matchmaking plan I can meet my soul mate. There was no other intention from me because I wanted to seriously get a woman for me to marry. Even so, today is not the path of Siti Nurbaya who is betrothed. But, a geeky and kind man like me finds it hard to accept a good and serious woman for me unless I need this matchmaking help." explains Alex sounding honest and making Melodi a little stunned.

Melody shook her head slowly to dispel her sympathy. He improved his standing before Alex, who stood before him after preventing himself from leaving.

"Then, if I'm not as serious and kind a woman as you expected? Do you want to marry me?" ask Melody spontaneously.

"Yes I'm willing to marry you, I believe you're a good woman. Because, I fell in love with you at first sight." Alex replied making both his parents and his papa business partner feel happy with Alex's seriousness.

"Well, that's amazing. Son of Alex, Papa think you're the soul mate of Papa's son. I hope you won't hurt my son and take care of him until the end of life." Hearing Papa Max's words supporting Alex to be her husband made Melodi angry.

"Why did Papa easily believe the word The geeky man without doing any deeper interrogation? Is Papa kidding?" ask Melodi's upset.

"Have Alex gone, just ignore my son. His mouth is evil, but his heart is like an angel" said Papa Max deliberately ignoring the words Melodi.

"Mama, why is Papa?" Melody snatches at Mama Siska.

"Have a son, just accept Alex to be your husband. Alex is a nice and polite man. Mama can make sure your life will be happy after marrying him." again Mama Siska's words make Melodi look at both eyes lazy. He did not want to speak his sharp words, it was better to leave them and not forget to stomp his feet in disagreement.
