Part 1 Bad News Brings Wounds

In a white room, a beautiful woman is calling someone. The look of his face was agitated with both of his legs constantly pacing around his room.

"Why didn't Miko pick up my phone? Isn't today the wedding dress fittings schedule?" Melodi tried calling her fiance again. Melodi called 5 times but there was no sign of her phone connection being lifted.

Geck! Geck! Geck!

"Come in" said Melodi and the door to her room opened from the outside.

"Sorry young lady, the great sir wants to talk something" said Aunt Lesti.

"Well bi, where's papa now?"

"Master is waiting in the living room. All right, take the lady somewhere."

"Okey, I'll be down in a minute. I want to tell my fiance first."

"Sorry miss, the big master doesn't want to wait long. There's something important to talk about." Aunt Lesti replied politely.

Melody only let out a rough sigh when she heard Aunt Lesti's words according to her papa's orders.

"All right, I'm leaving now." Melody closed her call connection and kept the phone in her pocket. He followed Aunt Lesti's footsteps down the stairs.

From a distance, Melodi frowned when she saw her parents looking sad.

"Mama, Papa, why do you look sad? What's going on?" asked Melodi who stopped her footsteps in front of her parents.

Siska raised her head up when she saw the mere presence of her child, looking astonished to see her and her husband look sad.

"The melody, mom and dad want to talk about something very important" Siska said slowly.

"Yes ma, just tell me not to be curious." said Melodi as she dropped herself on the sofa and looked at mom and dad sitting in front of her.

"Mama and papa saw the news in TB about the consecutive accidents on S's road."

"Then?"

"There's Miko's face swearing blood in the news."

Melodi was increasingly clueless with the words of her parents, there was a fear of losing her fiance but she was still thinking positively.

"What does mama mean? Melody did not understand and it was possible that there was a man who had a face similar to Miko."

Max, who had been silent with tears in his eyes, came down to explain.

"You said your mom was right, son, Papa got a call from both of Miko's parents if they were in the hospital. Miko was among the victims of the crash - "Max's words came to a halt as Melodi interrupted her conversation.

"So, you mean papa and mama right that Miko had an accident and was taken to the hospital?" melodi asked with a stern expression and her parents nodded in response.

"How's Miko doing now?" ask Melody again.

"Papa want to take you to pick Miko up at the hospital? Let's see for yourself how things are going." replied Max.

Melody and her parents went to the hospital. Along the way, the car passed the highway that this morning had a consecutive accident. Although the road conditions slightly jammed and secured some police for vehicle users so as not to pass through the broken glass of the car and the body of the car that fell scattered on the road.

Melody stared around the highway that was the scene of her fiance's accident.

"Has right, Miko didn't pick up my phone. Turns out he had an accident. Hope you're okay, Miko. I don't want to lose you forever" Melodi said in her heart.

Two hours later, Melodi's car and her parents were parked in the hospital.

"Where's Miko's room, Ma, Pa? I can't wait to pick her up" said Melodi, who had gotten out of the car and whose footsteps followed her parents.

"Just wait, we'll be in the room soon." added Siska without turning to the Melodi who walked next to him.

Melodi just nodded her head in affirmation to Mama Siska's words and she glanced at Papa Max who was holding back her tears.

"Papa, why are you crying? is there something to hide?" asked Melody but got no answer from Papa Max.

The melody continued to walk through the corridor of the hospital room until its footsteps approached the back room of the hospital which is usually used as an autopsy room and morgue room.

"Why am I being led through this room? What exactly is going on?" ask Melody in your heart. Then, Melodi followed Papa Max's footsteps entering the morgue room.

Melodi was stunned to see the entire Miko family gathered inside the morgue room and approached the body of someone covered by a white cloth. Melody heard the sobs by Miko's parents who called her son's name.

As the Melody's heartbeat stops beating, the surrounding atmosphere feels cramped to breathe in the oxygen around it. With her heart firmly fixed, Melodi walked up to the corpse to make sure her mind was wrong. He opened the white cloth that covered the face of someone who turned out to be a man he was very familiar with.

"Mi-miko," said Melodi stammering.

His body felt limp to hold both of his legs to stay standing firmly. He shook his head in disbelief with all this harsh reality.

It turned out that the person lying stiffly on top of the morgue safe was her fiance - Miko. The man she loved so much and was two months away from being her husband. But, fate is playing tricks on him right now. Melody is abandoned by her fiance forever.

"Miko! Miko wake! Wake up baby, hiks..."

"Don't stay with me, Miko!"

"You promised you'd always be with you, Miko. But, what actually? You didn't keep your promise, hiks..." Melodi's sobs broke when Miko was gone.

Melody shook Miko's shoulder slowly to wake her from her long sleep. He stared at Miko's pale face with both eyes closed and stitch wounds on her head.

"Let's wake up Miko! Wake up! You can definitely get through this ordeal! I believe you must be alive, hiks..."

"Melody must be patient, son, just let Miko be calm in nature there." persuaded mama Miko-Kesi.

Melody shook her head in disapproval, she did not want to lose the man she loved so much.

"No Aunt, Miko's still alive. Miko will never leave me, hiks..."

Melody leaned her head against Miko's shoulder. He checked his heartbeat had not gone smoothly. It makes Melodi cry hysterically as she mourns the departure of her fiance - Miko forever.

"Please, wake up Miko! I love you so much. This accident is not bad news about your departure. I'll wait for you until anytime." said Melodi quietly.
