CH-100 Lorena in Hospital

This morning Sean was disturbed to hear a noise. His hands flailed his wife's body on the bed that turned out to be empty. Where's Lorena? There was a noise like it was coming from the bathroom.

“Oeek! Oeek!” The voice was still heard followed by the sound of water faucets. Looks like Lorena's having morning sickness. But the sound of his wife's vomiting sounded different, even more like pain. Sean sharpened his hearing. He immediately got up and got out of bed.

“Darling, you why?” he asked, walking towards the bathroom amid his drowsiness.

The bathroom door was not closed. Sean pushed the door slowly. He saw his wife was leaning against the bathroom wall while holding her stomach.

Hearing someone open the bathroom door, Lorena turned her head. Sean was surprised to see his wife's condition was very pale with his eyes red, face and some of his hair wet with water.

“You why?” sean asked in shock, he immediately approached Lorena, grabbed her hands together, then touched his wife's cheek.

“My stomach is very sick,” Lorena replied quietly almost inaudible, looking at her husband with her glaring red eyes.

“You why baby?” sean asked, the more panicked. His wife's cheeks were so cold.

“My stomach hurts, it hurts so much,” lamented Lorena, now those eyes are in tears.

“Sick? We go to the Doctor now,” said Sean, his heart became restless and worried to see his wife's condition like that.

Not to mention Lorena replying, her body immediately drooped falling unconscious, making Sean startled and hurriedly hug Lorena's body.

“Lorena! Wake up! You why?” sean asked, patting Lorena on the cheek, his heart grew more anxious to see his wife faint.

Sean screamed for the butler as he carried his wife out of the bathroom, then put her to bed. He looked for a long coat to cover his wife's body, with his mouth constantly screaming calling Mr. Sobri. Sean's screams made several servants approach as well as Mrs Grace.

“What are you screaming about?” the voice of Mrs. Grace, still dressed in a nightgown, walks into Sean's room, as does Mr. Sobri and several other servants.

Sean raised Lorena's body back with a warm coat.

“Pak Sobri get the car ready, I'll take my wife to the hospital!” sean said, as he walked quickly out of his room.

Mr. Sobri and the other waiters appeared to panic, and he immediately ran to the back room calling his family driver Sean to prepare the car.

“What happened?” ms.Grace asked, following Sean's steps.

“Lorena fainted, I'll take her to the hospital,” Sean replied, without stopping his steps.

“You go, mother follows,” said Mrs.Grace, then turned her back, rushing back to her room.

Sean said nothing more, when he got on the porch, his car drove up to him.

“Quick!” he shouted loudly, making the driver panic. Within minutes, the car was out of Sean's house.

The Hospital…

Sean walked back and forth agitatedly. Why did the doctor take so long to treat the citrus? Was Lorena not a normal faint? His heart was getting worried.

Not long after came Mrs.Grace who had changed clothes.

“How? Why is it so long still in the action room?” ask Ms.Grace.

“Let's know I don't know either,” Sean replied.

“Actually what happened?” ms. Grace looked at Sean.

“I don't know either. Lorena just complains of feeling pain in her stomach,” Sean replied.

“What? Stomach pain?” ms.Grace asked, surprised.

“Iya, then she fainted,” Sean replied.

“Sickness wrinkled? Why could that be? I don't want anything to happen with the baby,” said Ms.Grace, staring at Sean. In her bad mind how about Lorena to miscarry?

“Ease everything is fine,” said Sean. Grace doesn't talk anymore.

Suddenly the door opened. Two nurses took Lorena out of the room.

Sean immediately approached the Doctor who also came out of the room. The nurse took Lorena to the treatment room.

“What about my wife Doc? What the hell's going on? Why is he so?” ask Sean.

“Your wife is food poisoning,” replied Doctor.

“Toxing?” Sean looked surprised.

“How about the baby?” ask Ms.Grace.

“The condition of the fetus is a little disturbed, but we have shared treatment measures so that the fetus can be strong. We wait a few days for how it will develop.  It is feared that the baby will miscarry,” replied the Doctor, making Sean and Ms.Grace surprised.

“But my baby can still be saved Doc?” sean asked, his heart just felt sad, he did not want to lose the baby.

“We wait a few days, we see the development, hopefully can survive,” replied the Doctor, slapped Sean's shoulder, then left the room.

Sean was silent to hear it, and so was Miss. Grace.

 Sean saw the nurse who was taking his wife was far away. He immediately ran following the nurses to the treatment room.

“I don't want anything to happen to the baby,” said Ms.Grace while she was in the room where Lorena was resting.

Sean was sitting next to his unconscious wife.

“Hopefully my baby can survive,” Sean said.

“I wonder why your wife got poisoned?” ask Ms.Grace.

“What if the baby can't survive? Or maybe his development will be disrupted, he must be curled if it happens like that,” continued Ny.Grace. He looked up at his daughter-in-law and then looked at Sean.

“If until your wife miscarries, she can not immediately get pregnant again, inevitably you have to marry another woman. If you don't like Nisa, I'll bring another woman for you,” Ms.Grace said.

“Bu, why should I discuss that again? I told you I don't want to talk about it anymore,” Sean said, in a resentful tone.

“I'm worried about my wife and child, please don't make things difficult,” Sean continued.

Grace doesn't talk anymore. He is upset by Sean's attitude that doesn't care about his grandfather's legacy.

Sean felt Lorena's hand move weakly.

“Honey, you wake up?” tanyanya, kiss Lorena's cheek again.

Lorena felt a kiss on her cheek slowly opened her eyes, which she felt was dizzy in her head. His hand touched his head.

“You why? You dizzy?” sean asked, rubbing his wife's head back.

Lorena did not reply, she looked around, it turned out that she was in the hospital, her head turned towards Sean looking at her husband then at her in-laws who were still standing looking at her.

“What happened to me? Stomach is very sore,” lorena complained, her hand touching her stomach.

“You were vomiting and passed out, now we are in the hospital,” Sean replied.

“Is my baby okay? My stomach still hurts,” Lorena replied, grimacing back.

Sean directly touched his stomach and rubbed it slowly.

“What still hurts so much? Do I need to call the doctor again?” ask Sean.

“My stomach is still sick,” lorena complained again to make Sean panic alone, she directly pressed the help bell to call the Doctor.

Not long after the Doctor and Physician Assistant were also nurses who arrived and went back to check on Lorena's condition.

Sean stood up to step away so that the Dokter would be free to conduct the examination.

Ms.Grace looked frowning, she was upset over Lorena's miscarriage, she was about to lose her grandson and Sean's legacy.

The doctor looked at Sean who was approaching.

“We are still waiting for the development of the jainnya. But we have given treatment measures so that the fetus can survive,” said Doctor.

Sean turned to Lorena who looked to have calmed down by now, not complaining of pain anymore.

“Why with my stomach Doc?” lorena asked, looking at the Doctor, her heart felt uneasy hearing what the Doctor said to Sean.

“You are food poisoning Mom, and it affects the fetus. But we've done the treatment we can, but we've also had to wait a few days, we've had to see the fetal reaction. If it turns out not to be able to survive then we are forced to do curettage,” replied the Doctor made Lorena surprised.

“I'm poisoned? And my baby?” he murmured with trembling lips, tears just stirred in his eyes.

“Yes, be patient, hopefully the baby can survive and you can continue your pregnancy back,” replied the Doctor.

Lorena did not reply, only tears dripping down her cheeks.

“Rest,” said the Doctor, then turned to Sean.

“Any reaction please directly tell us,” said Doctor.

“Alright, thanks Doc,” said Sean. Doctors and other medical personnel came out of the room.

Sean sat back in the chair near Lorena, and he was saddened to see his wife crying.

“Darling, you don't worry, everything will be fine,” said Sean trying to comfort his wife when he also felt worried.

“I feel astonished, why did you get such a gown? Keeping your pregnancy alone cannot be,” complained Mrs.Grace.

Lorena wiped away her tears, turning to her mother-in-law.

“Do you not understand also, how valuable the baby you are carrying is?” hardik Ms.Grace.

Lorena was surprised by her in-laws' self-blame.

“Why are you so careless?” hardik Mrs.Grace again.

“I also don't want my baby to be okay,” said Lorena.

Sean looked at his mother.

“Have not blamed Lorena. I'll call Mr. Sobri to check all the food at home,” Sean said.

“I'll fire them if it gets caught they carelessly provide food that harms my grandson!” ms.Grace said furiously.

Sean did not reply, he simply stepped out of the room, making a call to his butler's head.

Mrs.Grace slowly approached the patient's bed while looking at Lorena sharply.

“You must remember, if you can't keep your baby in a few days, I'm forced to bring another woman to Sean to marry, do you understand?” Ms.grace.

Lorena was speechless, only tears were the answer. She never imagined her marriage would always be under pressure.  He also didn't know why he got poisoned? It seemed that he never carelessly ate, even to eat alone he was so lazy, how could he get poisoned?

She saw her husband behind the window calling Mr. Sobri. Her heart felt uneasy until Ms.Grace fired her servants.
