Slowly the door of the hotel in front of Gio opened, the man was speechless staring at the entire room that could be reached by his gaze.

"Come in" said the man who opened the door for Gio.

Gio looked doubtful, the reason in the room seemed to be neither Cleo, nor anyone else.

"Miss Cleo, it will be here soon" said the man again, as if he knew what Gio was thinking.

With a doubtful step, Gio started to step his foot inside. Once his entire body was inside the room, the door was immediately closed and locked again.

Gio immediately turned around to hold the door, but, it was too late, he was already confined inside the uninhabited room.

Gio chose to go deeper, his eyes constantly running around looking at the entire contents of the simple room.

It contained only a medium-size bed, and a wooden cabinet that looked quite aged. There are also some displays in the form of synthetic flowers and paintings that hang on the wall.

The breeze turned its attention to the slightly open window, flying the white curtain that blocked it.

There was a small balcony behind the window. Gio looked outside, seemingly quite high, from the ground level. He could have guessed that, when he saw the shoots of trees that were on par with this room.

Rani crossed her arms in front of her chest, trying to block her open body, due to the minimal clothes she was wearing. Gio instantly let go of his hand that was about to embrace Rani, standing straight back with awkward and agitated body movements.

Rani's face looked so depressed, even if looking at it from a close distance, there was a bruise on the tip of her lips and cheeks. It seemed like Rani had been subjected to physical violence during her kidnapping by Cleo.

Gio looked around, looking for something that could cover Rani's body, so that the woman could be more comfortable. With wide steps, Gio headed to the bed and pulled the blanket, then returned to put the blanket on Rani's body.

"Sorry, for now you wear this first," said Gio while covering Rani's body using a blanket in his hand.

"Do you know where your son is?" whispered Gio while crouching beside Rani.

Gio frowned, staring at the puzzled attitude of Rani. This was very different from the last time he met his wife's twin brother. It seems Cleo has already spoken a no-no to Rani about herself.

"Sit down and calm yourself, I won't touch you" Gio said as he led Rani to sit on the bed.

Gio stood back up and walked away from Rani, she chose to sit on the chair that was there.

Rani continued to be silent, her memory returning at the time when she was talking to the woman who used to buy it from Renggo.

Gio widened his eyes, he knew what Rani was going through.

Gio got up, he approached Rani, trying to check on the condition of his wife's twin brother. However, when he was Rani's wrist, the woman immediately pulled her body until Gio fell right on top of Rani's body.

"Please," muttered Rani softly.

"Control yourself, Rani. I'm Gio, your brother's husband," growled Gio, while breaking away from Rani's body.

In the current situation, he is in the position of a sane person, while Rani has started to go crazy. Therefore, he must still maintain his sanity.

Elsewhere, Cleo and her men appear to be seriously watching the hidden CCTV footage, which they have installed inside Gio and Rani's room.

Cleo looked grinning, seeing the medicine she gave Rani start to react.

"I want to see, to the point where you will survive in your sanity, Gio. Where there are cats that will reject salted fish in plain sight" Cleo said with a sharp grin on her face.
