“What? Mila, are you going to invite Afzal?” Whitney asked in surprise.
Afzal was also somewhat surprised. From their brief encounter that day, Afzal instantly knew that Mila was a kind, noble-hearted girl. She did not look down on the poor, nor was Mila the type who hated the poor and liked the rich. As long as the person is nice, Mila will treat him like a friend.
Mila is very different from Whitney, Mila is very good at weighing the taste.
Actually Afzal was not interested in attending a dinner that contained Victor and Whitney, as well as his friends.
Don't want a little!
Mila nodded and said, “Whitney, Afzal has helped me a lot today. So I invite you all to dinner tonight. Of course Afzal has to come!”
“Why don't you guys just go have fun? Should I not come?” Afzal replied while smiling at Mila. Actually Afzal understands the good intentions of Mila inviting him to dinner tonight.
“No, you have to come!” To be honest, Mila had another reason to invite Afzal to dinner tonight. How could Mila not realize that Victor has a crush on her.
Inviting and Afzal is the only way Mila can avoid Victor because he really does not like Victor.
Victor's face was instantly disheveled and disappointed.
It was impossible for Victor to resist Mila's desire to have Afzal come to dinner and it was impossible for him to let Mila pay for all their dinner expenses.
Even though Afzal's coming to dinner tonight, at least Victor won't let Mila pay for their dinner.
Did Victor have no self-respect?
Then Victor replied bitterly, “Mila, I think it's clear now. I'll pay for dinner. After all, you didn't come to lunch with us at Homeland Kitchen. For Afzal, he can come if he wants.”.
Mila nodded faintly.
Whitney glared at Afzal and said, “Hmph! You're so lucky, Victor let you come to dinner tonight! But you have to remember that the reason you were invited tonight is because you helped Mila. If not, even in a dream you should not join!”
After saying that, Whitney turned her body around and looked at Mila then said, “Mila, see you later tonight!”
Finished talking, Whitney turned around and left with Victor.
‘Ugh!’ Afzal complained in his heart.
Afzal tried not to think things through and stayed focused on training that day.
Afzal continued his training until nightfall.
Whitney came to pick up Mila in Victor's car.
Few people had dinner with them that night, most of them students and students close to Victor because they were both members of the sorority.
Quinn and Nathaniel were also present in the midst of a group of people who were taking part in dinner.
Some time later, they arrived at Homeland Kitchen. Victor was very royal that night and he had already ordered one fancy and beautiful j.
Afzal walked the very back following the group without saying a word.
Afzal did not care much about his surroundings and did not realize when one of the waitresses who noticed him when they passed by earlier. The waiter looked surprised and hurried down the stairs for some reason.
“Mmm. I think this is the first moment for one of us to step foot in this restaurant. I'm afraid this will be the first and last experience for that person!”
Everyone is excited. Especially Quinn who was looking at Afzal and while throwing sarcastic words that were aimed at Afzal.
“Quinn, you were wrong. Afzal's been here before. He treated his classmates to dinner here and I heard he spent a lot of money that night!”
Whitney hurriedly answered and explained everything she knew about the incident that night.
Quinn and Nathaniel are both shocked to hear Whitney's explanation.
Whitney continues her story of how Afzal spent a lot of money on her classmates once she earned some money from winning the lottery.
Everyone looked at Afzal like he was an idiot.
Afzal remained unmoved by Whitney's talk and, not intending to explain anything to them, remained silent and sat in the corner.
“Can you win the lottery?” Suddenly Mila asked with a shocked expression.
