Conglomerate Children Who Look Poor

Conglomerate Children Who Look Poor
chapter 30

“I...I don't want to!”

Xavia looked at Yuri and she could grasp the implied meaning of that gaze.

Absolutely disgraceful!

Xavia kept shaking.

“My dear, please remember all the good things I have done for you. Please wait for me here. I'm gonna go home, get some money, then come back here to pick you up. After that we can spend the night together, okay?”

Yuri looked at Afzal while finishing her sentence. It was as if he wanted to leave Xavia that the reason they entered into the treaty that night was to humiliate Afzal and Xavia should not forget about it!

Okay!

Given all that Xavia felt a little calm.

Xavia has to prove that her new boyfriend is much better than Afzal! 100 Times better!

He must not lose face in front of Afzal.

“Okay, well, I'm waiting for you here. I know you're a rich man and I'm sure you'll come back here for me.”

Xavia deliberately raised her voice.

Yuri soon disappears from the restaurant once Xavia agrees to stay.

Xavia actually wanted to invite some friends to accompany her, but Cassandra disagreed. It's not nice that too many people go home late at night. So she took the students back to the college dorm with her.

Afzal was the last person to leave the restaurant. Inwardly he felt somewhat guilty with Xavia.

Seriously!

How come Yuri left Xavia alone in a restaurant in the middle of the night? Afzal felt a pain in his heart.

However, Xavia and Afzal had been in a relationship for more than three years and Afzal could not lie to himself that he had no feelings for Xavia.

Although very disappointed with Xavia, but Afzal could not afford to hate the girl. He always assured himself that Xavia was actually a good person.

Afzal was saddened by the situation Xavia faced. If Xavia wanted to ask him for help, Afzal would help him with all his heart.

Unfortunately, Xavia continued to look at Afzal with a cold gaze. Xavia was very confident that Yuri would come back soon and pick her up.

Ughhhh!

Zachy complained to himself. He should no longer have to worry about Xavia.

Afzal reminded himself that the present Xavia was no longer the Xavia he had known, a good man and always used common sense in his actions. Now Xavia turned into a very materialistic person and often behaved violently.

Afzal passed by leaving the restaurant without looking back.

Moments later, Afzal arrives at the dormitory. Tonight he had already managed to take Yuri down in front of his classmates, it should be a happy day for him.

Afzal did not feel happy at all.

Harper patted Afzal's shoulder gently.

“Afzal, how are you feeling now? Are you okay after spending so much money on a deal tonight? We've tried to stop you a few times, but you can't be stopped. I was hoping that you would save thirty thousand dollars and not spend it all at once so that you could enjoy your days on campus more comfortably.”

Afzal smiled and said, “Huh, who said I only won thirty thousand dollars?”

“What?”

“Yes, I admit the price of food tonight is quite expensive, but my money is still a lot, really. Anyway I didn't spend all my money on a deal tonight.”

Afzal explained to his friends.

“How much, anyway lottery money you won, Afzal?”

“Yes, how much is it all, Afzal?” Don't keep us curious, dong!”

Now that Harper and all his friends are lying on Afzal's bed, they won't budge until Afzal tells the truth.

Afzal was desperate and could only show his fingers.

“Eight? Eighty thousand dollars? Harper asked with a surprised look on his face.

“Come, we're sleeping! Tomorrow is Saturday and I'm going to the library early in the morning to study. So now I have to sleep so that tomorrow I can wake up in the morning!” Afzal tries to cover up the guilt of having to keep lying to his friends by pretending to be sleepy.

“Say, dong! Eighty thousand dollars or eight hundred thousand dollars?”

Harper was curious. But then he gave up because all his efforts were in vain, Afzal still did not want to open his mouth.

It was not important to him how much lottery money Afzal won, eighty thousand or eight hundred thousand dollars for him was the same. The most important thing now is that Afzal has money.

Harper is at peace.

Afzal could not sleep because he continued to suffer from guilt.

Afzal is still worried about Xavia.

Afzal does not know that Xavia has left the restaurant.

Prior to the treaty, Afzal took the time to investigate Yuri and he was informed that the Yuri family was not very wealthy. Yuri's father had one factory and the allowance he gave Yuri was a thousand dollars every month. Afzal also knew that Yuri had no savings.

Of course Yuri doesn't have enough money to pay the bills.

On the personality side, Yuri is not the type of person in charge. Afzal suspects Yuri will not return to the restaurant to pick up Xavia.

Afzal wishes Xavia had called and asked for his help, but by midnight Xavia does not call.

Why is he still thinking about Xavia? Though it is clear that Xavia loves Yuri and not her...

Afzal was desperate.

Tomorrow is Saturday. Afzal's roommate is still lounging in bed. Afzal's phone rang and he immediately picked up his phone. He thought Xavia was calling, but it turned out to be from Zack!

Afzal got out of bed and hurriedly entered the bathroom to answer Zack's phone.

“Good morning, Mr Crawford!” Zack greeted respectfully.

“Mr Lyle, thank you for calling. I want to ask one thing,” Afzal asked with a smile.

“There can I help you with, Mr Crawford? Just tell me what you want. I'll do it soon for you!”

Afzal told Zack about the money he spent in Homeland Kitchen last night.

“Oh! About it? I think you spent less than ten thousand dollars. The price of the red wine you ordered for nine thousand dollars was actually produced by the Crawford Family abroad, so the production cost was only a few hundred dollars. Hahaha.”.

Zack smiled, in fact he regretted that Afzal only spent a little money, but Afzal had started to show the development as desired Jessica.

“Mr Crawford, is there anything else I can do? You want me to return the twenty thousand dollars you used last night? I can do it right now if you want...?
