38 - May It End Soon

In another part of the world, Afnan who just arrived home after finishing overtime in his office threw his body on the sofa. His eyes were closed with heavy long breaths, how exhausting was this day. Until he heard something that disturbed his hearing, slowly his eyes that began to heavily open slightly narrowed to make sure what he saw.

He saw the nurse in charge of caring for Aunt Sofi's biological mother from her late sister's husband enter the room occupied by Aunt Sofi. Afnan saw that his wrist watch was late at night, making the athletic, sturdy man feel a little strange about the nurse's attitude.

The dark room is only minimal lighting from the outside lights of the house, making Afnan who was in the room invisible. So that Afnan easily monitor the movement of the nurse, after the nurse entered the room, Afnan woke up from his position walking slowly with bare feet to the room aunt Sofi. Luckily the door of the room was not tightly closed, either intentionally or banged up but it made things slightly side with Afnan.

Slowly he pushed the door of the room so as not to make a sound, until then his eyes widened perfectly as if the eyeballs were going to come out of place.

"Heh, what are you doing?" afnan snapped as soon as he saw the blonde nurse was going to inject fluid in the body of Aunt Sofi. The nurse, surprised by the arrival of her master, spontaneously threw the injection and fell under the bed.

"Sorry sir, I want to inject vitamins for Miss Sofi." Said the nurse nervously her face was as pale as a corpse. The nurse named Jeni just lowered her head not daring to look at her master who looked angry.

"Are you sure? since when Aunt Sofi had to receive the vitamins by injection, and it's late." Afnan is not that easy to believe, according to his thinking something is wrong. Because all this time he also always monitored his own treatment aunt Sofi, only a few days he was a little careless because he had to take care of the company that was in turmoil.

Afnan bent his body wanting to take a shot that fell, without him expecting the nurse to hit the back of Afnan's head until Afnan fell unconscious and the nurse immediately ran out of the house. Until the morning, Afnan woke up when a boy woke him up.

"Dad, Dad.... Wake up" the boy shook his father's body, which was lying on the floor, complete with work clothes worn yesterday.

His eyes blinked slowly, he grimaced with pain behind his head. Both of his eyes opened perfectly, displaying a smile on his face when he saw his Son looking at him with a confused face.

"Why did you sleep on Grandma's bedroom floor?" ask a boy named Aditya. His memory immediately revolved around the incident last night, Afnan immediately got up and checked the condition of Aunt Sofi who was still asleep.

Then he crouched back to pick up the injection that the nurse had dropped last night, he noticed for a moment the liquid. There was nothing wrong at a glance, but he would ask the Doctor later. Afnan invites his son out of the room so as not to disturb the rest of Aunt Sofi.

"Darling, let's get out." Adit nodded obediently.

"Why did you get to Grandma's room?" asked Afnan after they were in front of the room and walked towards the middle room.

"Would've taken a cup of kedapur, Dad. But Adit saw the door to the grandma's room open, and when Adit wanted to close the door to the clay room I slept on the floor." Obviously Adit.

"Alright, Father in the room first," said Afnan while scrambling his son's hair, reciprocated with a nod by the child.

While walking up the stairs Afnan continued to think about the incident last night, he would ask his wife first after that would contact the Doctor. The door of the room opened and he saw his wife sitting in the dresser chair looking over.

"New fly home?" ask in wonder, because usually Afnan if not go home will preach it. Afnan let out a long sigh, dropping himself on the bed, rubbing his face rough even more making the wife's forehead wrinkle.

"Bang, what's wrong? any more problems?" he asked his wife again because she could not answer him. He was very anxious to see Afnan was so messy like that.

"Mit, we need to find a new nurse!"

"Loh, why? there is no Jeni!" the woman asked, still confused.

Afnan breathes a lot of air, "Mita, it looks like we have failed in keeping Aunt Sofi. Last night when Abang came home from work, Brother caught Jeni wanting to inject something into Aunt Sofi's body." Afnan.

"Abang also did not know, even he hit Abang to faint!"

"Abang tasa yes, arrgghh. We just told Dika's sister." Afnan reached into his pants pocket, took his cell phone and called the doctor. After talking to the Doctor and waiting for the arrival of the Doctor to check the contents of the injection.

Afnan then contacted Dika, as this was a serious matter he had to inform his brother. Waiting until a while his call was answered by Dika.
