26 - Cloud Stories

Today Kevin came to the hospital to take the results of his examination, Kevin was very surprised to see Clouds who had been standing there when he came out of Doctor Angga's room. The clouds that had been waiting for him since earlier intercepted Kevin who wanted to leave immediately from before him.

Kevin was sentenced to Acute Myeloid Leukemia just a week before his marriage to Feshika.

"Life is long!"

Currently Kevin is sitting on the bench of the hospital garden with Awan, long enough both of them are silent until finally Kevin opened a conversation between them.

"Do you know Shika?" ask Cloud. Kevin replied with a weak sleeve.

The cloud inhaled a deep breath of air and then released it slowly, he threw his gaze away on the other side, his eyes closed for a moment.

"Please, you continue this marriage. You have to be honest with Shika, I beg you, Vin! Please don't waste her, Shika loves you so much. Don't make her heart break, at least happy she's at your age...." The clouds hung his words, strengthening his runaway heart.

Two weeks earlier, Awan accidentally saw Kevin enter the practice room of Doctor Angga, of course he knew the diagnosis of the disease in the patient if associated with Doctor Angga. Because he wanted to ascertain for himself what happened with Kevin, without being known by anyone Awan secretly met Doctor Angga and asked about the patient he was handling who was none other than Kevin.

After hearing the doctor's explanation and predicting the level of Kevin's health condition, Awan underwent a series of health checks to determine the level of fitness to become a donor and the results were suitable. But because Awan has an anesthetic allergy, it is very risky to perform stem cell transplant surgery or bone marrow transplantation.

Awan arranged everything necessary for the operation, he asked Kevin to undergo treatment in Germany. Awan has also taken care of his return to Dubai thus making it easy for him to carry out the operation without anyone suspecting. If something happens to him, no one knows.

The clouds insist on doing so, all they have in mind is Feshika. If anything happens with Kevin he is sure how broken Feshika heart is. One of the two must be saved, Kevin. Feshika's happiness is much more meaningful than her life.

"I will do it, doctor. There's someone's happiness at stake here Doctor, I hope the Doctor can help me and please keep all of this a secret from anyone including Doctor Ray and Doctor Arya." Cloud is steady, there is no doubt in the slightest of every word.

"Did the Doctor love that girl so much?" the senior Doctor asked looked at his colleague with an illegible look. The clouds replied with a nod.

"By seeing him with another man?" ask the doctor again.

"Yes, if that smile never disappears from his face when he is with the man he loves, why not. Loving doesn't always have to have, seeing it happy, having it more than anything."

Doctor Angga could only smile at the Surgeon's words. "That's how much you love Doctor, to risk your own life. If only he could see the magnitude of your love, he would be very lucky to have a partner like the Doctor."

Cloud smiled bitterly at the words of Doctor Angga, his love is so sad. Dr. Angga had anticipated Awan's decision, and he was forced to agree to this very risky decision.

"Well, if this is the doctor's decision. But promise me."

"Let's hold on until it's all over."

Stem cell transplant surgery went well, Kevin's body received very well. But not with the Clouds, suddenly the vital instrument detection monitor showed a decrease in the function of the vital organs of the Clouds, making the team of Doctors and paramedics who handled the operation almost fainted.

What was feared had finally happened, Cloud's body reacted when the operation was almost complete. The doctors initially breathed a little relief, as there was no sign of Cloud's body during anesthesia. Dr. Berry went deathly pale, all panicking until it was over. The clouds fell asleep unconscious.

For two years Cloud lay in a coma, various medical devices installed in his body as a support for his life, no change from day to day. The clouds were so at home in his other world, like there was no intention of him waking up again. Both parents can only resign and face the chest, trying to be sincere with what happened.

They also immediately closed all access about the Cloud from the outside world, according to the request of Putra only wayangnya once the cloud took off leaving Indonesia.
