Chu Pian Ran's
Episode 44 Governor Lei Diadili

By midnight, the governor of Lei was preparing to flee with the help of some of his men.

The plan is that they will walk first until they reach the Hanzhong gate to avoid suspicion of residents who may not have slept at that time.

At Hanzhong gate there will be a member of the governor Lei who is in charge of preparing a horse carriage for the man.

Just as Lei's group of governors came out from the back door of his residence, they were startled by the presence of masked men who confronted them.

Governor Lei was really scared back then.

"Where are you going? Wanna run?" Asked Mr. Song in a relaxed tone.

Governor Lei and some of his men just kept quiet. They know who they are dealing with. From the news they heard, Mr. Song did not hesitate to beat up his opponents.

"Governor Lei, it looks like tonight you can't run away because there's something you need to get done with immediately. From the financial logbook I took from your study, it turns out you like to eat the tax money of the people, the governor." Continue, Mr. Song.

For the sake of hearing the masked man's words, Governor Lei was greatly shocked and his body became slightly trembling.

"You're starting to freak out, governor? I thought you were a brave man who would fight me, but it turns out you were so scared just because of my words. Thank goodness you guys were willing to give yourself up quickly, so I won't waste any energy." Continue Mr. Song.

The masked man clapped his hands three times, then came several men from the darkness.

They were Qin Wu Zhu and his guards who had each been on standby with a sword.

Governor Lei and his men did not dwell. They were quickly arrested and immediately taken to the court bureau.

The court bureau officer who was on guard at that time was very surprised. He did not expect at all that the person tied up that night was the governor and his men.

During this time from the reports of the people, the governor of Lei carried out his duties well and his people were very friendly. But for some reason the masked man and some of his friends handed over the governor with their hands tied like criminals.

By then Qin Wu Zhu had already taken off his fake mustache and returned to his original form.

The young man then took out his token and showed it to the bureau officer.

The moment the attendant found out that it was a token belonging to the second prince of the Qin kingdom, the man immediately knelt down and apologized.

"For the time being you put them in jail, tomorrow morning we'll finish this governor's crime." Qin Wu Zhu's Order.

"Both your highness the prince, I will carry out the noble commandment. Immediately the servant will contact the head of the court bureau and other employees." Reply to the officer.

Master Song and Qin Wu Zhu then left the court bureau and returned to the inn.

Meanwhile Qin Wu Zhu's bodyguards were still in the court bureau to stand guard at that place.

That morning in front of the court office had gathered some Hanzhong residents who wanted to watch the trial process of the governor of Lei.

In the courtroom, the governor of Lei was confronted in front of Meng as a judge in Hanzhong.

Also present were Mr. Song, Qin Wu Zhu, Lu Zee, and several officers from the court bureau.

Judge Meng is currently examining the public tax financial records and spending records.

Early this morning Qin Wu Zhu had indeed told Lu Zee to deliver the notebook to judge Meng to be examined before the trial of the governor of Lei was held.

Judge Meng was taken aback while examining the financial notebook. He did not expect that during his time as governor, Mr. Lei had corrupted many tax dollars from the people.

Not to forget, Qin Wu Zhu also brought the matter of Nan Bing and his two friends who had been accused and persecuted.

"Mr Lei, I really did not expect that during your time as governor you were doing something this dirty. All this time the people of Hanzhong gave you a positive view but it turned out like this." Judge Meng's complaint was that the man also included Hanzhong residents.

Mr. Lei just kept quiet. Since yesterday the man had been frightened as the matter was directly dealt with by the second prince of the Qin kingdom and lord Song.

"Sir Lei why are you quiet? Don't you want to say something? I need a confession from your own lips because it concerns the people of Hanzhong." Judge Meng continued.

Mr. Lei remained silent.

Eventually the trial was dissolved because Mr. Lei kept his mouth shut.

The middle-aged man was finally put back in jail.

Meanwhile, the court bureau reexamined all the evidence to find a more accurate truth.

During the wait for the next trial, Mr. Song locked himself in a room and meditated.

One week later, Mr. Lei's second trial was held. This time, Mr. Lei confessed all his actions.

Today, Mr. Lei was sentenced to eight years in prison and is obliged to return all the tax money of the people he has corrupted. Meanwhile, for people who are involved with the action are given a prison sentence depending on the size of the small crime rate they commit.

After Mr. Lei was imprisoned, all his family members moved from Hanzhong because they could not bear the shame.

Meanwhile, Nan Bing and his two friends who are in better condition ask permission to be allowed to return to Hanzhong.

The Hanzhong area has calmed down, and residents are planning to hold new gubernatorial elections.
