Chu Pian Ran's

Chu Pian Ran's
Episode 43 of Hanzhong

The morning before sunrise, Mr. Song was waiting for Qin Wu Zhu's arrival along with his guards at the gates of the capital.

Moments later, from a distance the eyes of Master Song saw Qin Wu Zhu along with his four bodyguards speeding closer towards him.

Apparently Qin Wu Zhu disguised himself again by putting a thin moustache over his lips just like when in Sanchuan first.

After Qin Wu Zhu had gone stale for a while, the group finally left for Hanzhong.

The journey from the capital to Hanzhong takes at least a week.

The group will rest at night until the morning at an inn.

Finally the group arrived in the Hanzhong area.

The arrival of the group attracted the attention of many residents in the area, especially the masked man who was on the rise at that time.

For the sake of hearing the news that the masked man was in Hanzhong, the governor of Lei made a fuss over it.

Now the group is in front of an inn.

"Mr Song, how about we just stay here?" Qin Wu Zhu asked.

"If your highness the prince wants to stay here please, I will look for another inn. I don't want us to stay in the same inn in Hanzhong." Answer Mr. Song frankly.

"Well if that's your will, I'll take it." Qin Wu Zhu.

The masked man then led his horse back to find another inn.

A few meters later, Mr. Song found an inn that seemed suitable.

After completing the payment, Mr. Song walked into the room and meditated to get a clue.

By midnight...

Mr. Song ended his meditation and turned him into a butterfly. Then he flew towards the residence of the governor of Lei.

Based on his instincts, the butterfly broke into his study of the governor of Lei.

The office of the governor of Lei was very dark because there was no lighting at all. However that was not a problem for Master Song. With the advantages he had, his eyes could see the workspace very clearly.

After returning to human form, the masked man closed his eyes trying to look at the room.

A few minutes later Mr. Song walked over and approached a wooden cabinet of medium size.

With the strength of his palm the masked man moved the closet without making a sound.

Apparently under the closet, precisely on the floor, there is a hidden storage area.

Master Song saw the storage area locked by a small iron chain. Exerting his strength, after twenty minutes, the key to the chain was broken.

Mr. Song opened the thin, square-shaped door and picked up the stack of books that were inside.

There were three large-sized notebooks in front of the masked man. For a moment he opened a few pages of the book. Apparently it's a financial record.

Pour Song back shut the door and return the wooden cabinet exactly as it was.

Carrying the book, Mr. Song left the residence of the governor of Lei in the form of a butterfly.

Her morning...

Qin Wu Zhu had come to Lord Song's inn and asked one of the servants if Mr. Song was in his room.

The waiter replied that Mr. Song was still in his room because the servants of the inn had not seen the masked man coming out.

The young man asked the servant for help to convey his message to Mr. Song. Not to forget Qin Wu Zhu gave the servant a gold coin.

The servant immediately carried out the young man's orders.

The servant knocked on Mr. Song's room door.

Slender. There's no answer.

"Mr Song." Call the waiter.

Haish, that prince must want to see me... Disturbing people to sleep. Curse Mr. Song in heart.

There was a knock on the door of the masked man's room.

A few seconds later, the door opened.

Not even did the servant open his voice to deliver Qin Wu Zhu's message, master Song had already spoken before him.

"If anyone's looking for me just tell me later in the afternoon to see me again. I'm still sleepy, nobody bothers me." Said Mr. Song then immediately closed the door of his room again.

The servant was briefly stunned by Mr. Song's attitude just now. Then the waiter left the front of the masked man's room to forward his message to the young man.

In the afternoon in a closed room...

"Other times if your highness the prince wants to look for me not in the morning, I still sleep heavily and do not want to be disturbed. Every night I used to stay up late because I had some business to do." Master Song warned Qin Wu Zhu frankly.

"I'm really sorry Mr. Song for disturbing your deep sleep." Said Qin Wu Zhu feeling guilty.

Mr. Song then opened a bundle of cloth that he had brought earlier.

"I've got this book in Governor Lei's study, now it's your job to check it out." Sir Song said as he handed the young man three notebooks.

Qin Wu Zhu was quite surprised. It turned out that unbeknownst to him Mr. Song had already taken the first step.

"Well Mr. Song, I will examine this notebook carefully." Qin Wu Zhu replied.

For a moment the young man opened a few pages from the book and then closed them again.

"Now I'm going back to the inn, and you're gonna go check the notebook out." Continue, Mr. Song.

"Good Mr. Song." Reply Qin Wu Zhu.

Mr. Song then left the room and returned to the inn to meditate.

After obtaining the notebook, Qin Wu Zhu invited Lu Zee to check it out.

Apparently the book is a record book of tax collection from the people and details of his expenses.

The two young men checked the notebook carefully and found a record of tax expenditure that was nominally unreasonable.

They both marked the writings of unnatural figures.

Qin Wu Zhu and Lu Zee did the job until nightfall.

Her morning...

Qin Wu Zhu and his bodyguards traveled around the Hanzhong area to seek information regarding the use of public tax money.

As they predicted, the form of the use of public taxes does not correspond to the nominal amount of expenditure. Almost half of the tax revenues of the people were corrupted by the governor of Lei.

Governor Lei looked panicked as the men he ordered to spy on Mr. Song and some of the men accompanying him reported that the men were touring Hanzhong and wondered at some residents related to public taxes.

Without them noticing, behind the door of Governor Lei's office was a butterfly listening to their conversation.

The butterfly also heard that governor Lei intended to run away secretly.

Immediately the governor ordered his men to prepare all his needs while on the run.
