CHAPTER 15: Kanzia's Regret

After finishing with her lunch Kanzia returned to her study with Tania. He sat down at work and checked his phone.

"Gosh Kanzia what's wrong with you? why keep expecting that mysterious man to call you?" muttered Kanzia and put her hp back.

"Of Kanzia, hasn't she always been this way? full of secrets, even until now I do not know who exactly the man I married for 2 years," Kanzia said in her heart.

When Kanzia was busy daydreaming, a female employee came into his study and told him if he was called by Mr. Jonathan.

"Geez did he tell me to come into his room to give me a letter of dismissal, "inner Kanzia.

Tania who heard her friend called by their CEO immediately approached Kanzia.

"Kanzia's spirit, no matter what happens we will still be friends," Tania gave a cheer to Kanzia who looked lethargic getting a call to come to the CEO's room.

"Let's come with me" said the female employee, allowing Kanzia to follow her.

Kanzia simply responded to Tania's spirited speech with a smile and followed the steps of the female employee.

"My name is Siska mbak, I'm secretary to Mr. Jonathan." His speech introduced himself to Kanzia after the elevator door closed.

"Oh yeah why did Mr Jonathan call me into his room to fire me?" Ask Kanzia.

"If I don't know about it, sir Jonathan just told me to call his mom."

The atmosphere was silent again without anyone making a sound because only the two of them were in the elevator.

Upon reaching the floor of the CEO's room, Siska's secretary shows him Jonathan's room and invites Kanzia to enter the room.

Jonathan stopped his work for a moment then looked at Kanzia with a hard to interpret gaze.

"Do you know why I'm calling you to my room?" Jonathan asked without taking his eyes off Kanzia.

Kanzia realized the gaze of her boss, she felt uneasy mixed with annoyance stared at like that by Jonathan.

"Sorry sir, but can you stop staring at me with that perverted look of yours?" kanzia was upset.

Kanzia tried to hold back her frustration at her boss.
