CHAPTER 10: The wedding invitation

After finishing the bath and changing into Kanzia clothes directly down to the kitchen, he intends to cook Abian dinner menu.

"Bik today let me cook dinner for you" Kanzia said.

"Please Miss but I am still here to help non Kanzia," said Sofi bik who did not ban Kanzia as usual due to a request from Abian.

"Oh, I guess what kind of food do you like?" Kanzia asked Abian's favorite food.

"I do not know non because you rarely eat at home but usually you like to eat non seafood," replied Bik Sofi.

"Oh that's it, bik,,,"

Kanzia saw the ingredients in the refrigerator there are kale, squid the same shrimp, Kanzia uses apron and he began to struggle with kitchen utensils and ingredients, ingredients of cooking, the plan was to cook a simple menu because soon Abian came home, so he cooked sweet sour squid, mustache kale and made Krispy shrimp for Abian.

After a few minutes Kanzia was finally finished with her cooking activities.

"Hopefully Abian likes my cooking," murmured Kanzia who could still be heard by Sofi's monk.

"I'm sure you must love non Kanzia cuisine, it really tastes good non," said Bik Sofi for Kanzia cuisine that he tasted just now.

"It's easy to make, '" said Kanzia.

As he and Sofi's bik are still in the kitchen there is a sound of a car in front.

"It looks like it's the sound of Abian's car" Kanzia murmured. "Bik please move the food to the dining table, I want to go ahead first it seems like master has returned," pinta Kanzia and immediately move to welcome Abian.

Kanzia was standing at the door waiting for Abian to get out of his car.

Abian silently smiled to see the appearance of Kanzia who was still using the apron standing on the porch of the house, he could guess if his wife had just finished cooking.

"Are you waiting for me to come home?" Ask Abian.

"Eh, yes, yes,, Abian," Kanzia replied as she scratched her non-itchy head.

"I think I'm hungry is there any food I can eat?" Abian asked as he held his stomach.

"Oh yeah I just finished cooking, are you going to eat or shower first?" Kanzia.

"I'm already too hungry so later I want to fill my stomach first" said Abian stepped towards the dining table and followed by kanzia.

Abian was getting excited to eat after seeing the food on the table was his favorite food.

"Are you cooking all this?" Ask Abian.

"Yes, I hope you like it because I don't know what you like" Kanzia said.

"You take it easy I'm not the picky type of person when it comes to food, but it just so happens that all the dishes you cook are my favorite menu," said Abian while thrusting a plate to Kanzia to get food.

Abian started scooping up the food Kanzia had prepared, while Kanzia please be anxious whether or not her cooking would be liked by Abian.

"Do you like it? how's it feel? kanzia asked when the food had entered Abian's mouth.

"Mmm this is delicious I like," said Abian he really enjoyed Kanzia cuisine even though only a simple menu.

"You're not lying, are you?" Ask Kanzia.

"Mm, it's really good, haven't you tried it yet?" Abian asked who was answered nodding by Kanzia.

"If you don't believe this, try it" Abian said, pointing a spoon at Kanzia's mouth to feed her.

"Eh, I can try it myself" Kanzia refused.

"Just try not to argue," said Abian and Kanzia also received a bribe from Abian.

"How's it gonna be?"

"It's delicious," he replied smiling awkwardly.

"You should also eat not just watch me eating" Abian said.

While Abian was really enjoying this simple dinner, it seemed like he would be addicted to Kanzia cuisine.

After the dinner, Abian and Kanzia go to the room, Kanzia prepares water for Abian's bath and the clothes she uses.

"The water is ready, you can take a shower now the water will be cold," said Kanzia, Abian immediately took off his phone and went to the bathroom to clean his body.

Next day

While at the dinner table Abian offered a wedding invitation to Kanzia.

"What's this?" Kanzia took the card. "Clara and Noah's wedding invitation," Kanzia read the name on the invitation card while looking at Abian.

"Yes that's your stepbrother's wedding invitation card and your ex-boyfriend's asshole" Abian said.

"How come you can get the invitation?" Ask Abian.

"Of course I got it because your father seemed to be inviting all the business people in town" Abian replied.

Kanzia stared at the invitation.

"Maybe the wedding will be held in large quantities," kanzia said a little sad to recall how her father used to not care about her marriage even when a foreign man arrived to want to marry her father without thinking twice immediately agreed to it.

"What are you thinking?" Abian asked who saw Kanzia speechless while holding the invitation.

"Nothing, I was just wondering how festive the event was," he reasoned.

"So, in the next few days I will go out of town on business, so you can replace me to go to the event" Abian said.

"Again out of town?"

"Yes, why wouldn't you be willing if I just left?"

"It's not just that you didn't just come out of town two days ago and now you're leaving again aren't you tired?" Ask Kanzia.

"You don't need to think about it, you just need to prepare yourself to attend your stepbrother's wedding, tomorrow Kevin will take you to the boutique to choose the clothes you will use and remember never let them demean you again it is time you appeared before them with confidence, after two years of disappearing, it's time to show that you're better than all of them" Abian said, looking at Kanzia.

"Well I'll gladly come to take your place on the show" Kanzia said with a smile.

Of course, he would not reject it because this was what he wanted, attending Clara and Noah's wedding was the beginning of his plan to take revenge he had prepared himself to come to the wedding with a plan and he would still come even without an invitation, but it turns out that Abian again opened the way for him. Sometimes he thinks that Abian always knows what he wants before he asks for it or that everything is just a coincidence.

"It seems I'm thinking too far, I don't think you're ready to meet that person yet, but it looks like you're very happy to meet them," said Abian who saw Kanzia smile after getting the invitation.

"Of course I'm happy because I'm going to show them my beautiful face" she said with a witty smile, but Kanzia said it confidently.

"So that means you are happy because you will show your beautiful face to your former lover who is a jerk, you want him to be fascinated and ask you to come back to him" said Abian.

"It seems like a good idea" Kanzia joked.

"Then do it" Abian said, leaving Kanzia at the table.

"Thank you Abian!" Kanzia shouted before Abian left the dining room.

"Is he serious about what he said just now" Kanzia murmured after Abian's departure.
