The Poor Chimera

    Veroa had in fact left despite having been persuaded several times by the Guild Master Alfrederic. There was no other choice, he also deployed quite a number of experienced adventurers.     When the chimera hit where Veroa was standing before, an explosion that was powerful enough to cause chaos in the surrounding area.     Veroa had no intention of seriously injuring him, let alone killing him. He felt it would be regretful if this fairly rare creature was killed just like that, while this monster was possessed by something.

    Before the chimera could put up a fight, he immediately put her to sleep by using illusion magic that directly struck mentally. It did not take hours for Veroa to gather the dark aura until it was left unnoticed in the body of the chimera monster, he then compacted it to a small pebble and stored it in his clothing pocket.

Unfortunately, the body of the mutated chimera has not changed, whether it is a good or bad thing, no one knows it yet.
