Brutal Family

Brutal Family
Part 12 Senandung Aisle

"Any no B, this family?"

B was concerned to watch me pacing around in the room. I just realized there's not a single daughter-in-law living in Grandma's house. My mind started going everywhere, like ... looking for the possibility of my parents separating too because of this family. Hoping to get someone accountable for the misfortune in my family.

I remember, when I was a kid after my vacation from Papa's hometown, my parents had a fight. Starting from that night the quarrels followed a relationship that could not be maintained. I don't know what the cause is. It's a pity that I still don't understand the complexity they're going through.

My breath blows rough between the road I believe to be dead. B wrote something on his little paper.

Don't think too much, dude. It's all been happening.

"Therefore we have to find out so that what this family experienced does not happen continuously. Not afraid if something similar happens to us? Do you know how many times Ua Lisna got married? Three times! It all ended in a dead divorce. Ua Anjani, Ua Hanggara, Papa? It's not normal." My head shook. "Thankfully Mama and Papa were fine despite their separation. Maybe not if this family is cursed or something?"

I am facing B. The young man held back a laugh. Whereas if I was joking her expression was flat, it was my turn to seriously laugh. B is weird too.

"I'm serious!"

Sorry, your thoughts are funny.

"This isn't funny, B. I wonder about this family, what happened? There are many prohibitions. Especially the forbidden room, they make a cult huh in it? I like goosebumps when I see or go through a forbidden room. Cerems."

Then what do you want?

My smile came up, "I want to find out. If you can finish it all the way to the roots."

B nodded while writing. For a long time I became accustomed to being invited to oral-written communication like this. The feed back is a bit slow. There was a thumping sensation waiting for the response of what B wrote to me.

"Long huh?"

B looked over for a moment, his smile faint. In handing over his notes.

There are many failed sentences. My frowning frowned at one sentence escaped the scribble was at the bottom end of the paper.

Don't be too curious dude, you won't be ready to face the consequences.

"Wow!" I chuckled, B the more I fell on my curiosity. "What does that mean?"

B shook. In a moment he shrewdly played the pen.

My gut feeling isn't good.

"OK .., so I have to believe your words?"

Her net looked at me. I got amused being stared at that long by men.

"What the hell is B? Is there something wrong with my face?"

I'm serious dude. Think about the people you love. My hunch is not good.

Exactly the sound of the break bell I pulled Jaya to a rather quiet place. My goal is in front of the biology lab and the chemistry lab. There is a suitable place to discuss secret matters. Rarely would people pass by if there were no practical lessons in the lab. After making sure the two labs didn't have study hours I stopped on the porch. Look around first before talking to make sure the area is only me and Jaya. The issue of what will be discussed in the next few minutes is the family issue. No matter how weird our family is, we'll never let anyone else gossip.

"What's the matter, man, take me to a quiet place like this?" Alis Jaya up and down.

"Don't joke around yet."

"Come, I'm serious!" balas Jaya is fast and vibrant. "Auhh sick dude, how's it pinched?"

"You keep joking. I'm serious about it."

"Okay, so gini. I want us to continue the discussion 'why is our family so?',"

"Attent. Continuing discussions? When have we ever discussed the problem? 'why is our family that way'? Whose family?"

Then my eyeballs turned panted. Jaya and her pretense is totality. As if it was a dead price identity, it should not be revealed, or pretend to be stupid.

"ah! Ignore when we discuss. What is clear is that we have to start to find out," said I there was a pause, Jaya kept paying attention. Whether he understands it or not, seriously or jokingly, whatever it is Jaya's face is always the same. Sometimes irritating. "You've been to a forbidden room?"

"Well?!"

"Yes, the only room in Grandma's house where the door is locked. Ever been in there?"

"Crazy, you! Yeah, not yet."

My finger quickly snapped through the flick, "Eat it. Don't you wonder why we can't go there?"

"guys? You don't have any thoughts about getting in there, do you?"

I smiled, Jaya finally understood the direction of our conversation. But Jaya's sigh disappointed me, as if she didn't want to.

"Well, all Grandma's grandchildren are not allowed in there. Only the elderly can. I don't know the reason. It's just, we have to obey."

"And you're not curious?"

Jaya looked at me, then turned her attention to the shade tree of this school. His eyes glared far away, as if anyone could not reach what was in his mind.

"No, man."

"Come Jay. If you don't want to I'll ask Heman for help. It seems like he wants to help me," I threatened, usually Jaya does not like the name Kak Heman in our chat.

"The forbidden room isn't a place to mess around, man. You've experienced it yourself, haven't you? Almost dead, right? Don't remember you passing out in there?"

I bergidig, the glint of the gaze of a woman with red rather disturbing concentration. "I don't think that's a joke, Jay. Seriously, I'm curious."

"Dude!" Jaya closed her eyes briefly, her knuckles turning white in a powerful fist. As her eyes opened along with a rough gasp of breath, I saw a clash of sadness and annoyance there. "Knowing that, it means fooling around. You don't know anything, man. I've lost the most valuable person because of that room. I don't want to lose anymore. So enough. Come back before it gets too far."

I fell silent, digesting Jaya's words. He walked long before exploding. Yes, I see a great anger in Jaya. Unknowingly I raised him.

The former presence of Jaya by my side was swept by the wind. The break sign ended up beeping loudly from the speaker between the two labs. I'm still sculpting.

You don't know anything, man. I've lost the most valuable person because of that room.

What Jaya means and who Jaya means. I didn't get the answer. Jay got angry and left.

"Without?"

That sound. I looked at the passageway between the two labs. A little dark and damp.

"Without?"

In the midst of silence, the sound made my hair stand up. My fingers firmly grasped the fringes of the ash skirt. Someone in red crossed the hallway slowly. He's out of the chemistry lab entering the biology lab.

I should have left, my feet suddenly stiffened to move. Sayup-sayup in one of the rooms sounded murmur, turned into a soft hum. My breath choked, I don't know what impulse I managed to run away.

She's a forbidden room woman.
