Chapter 15
Jeni walks down the beach. A gust of wind hit her pretty face, her eyes closed enjoying the touch of waves pounding on her feet.
Until someone stops the move. Jeni opened her eyes, looking towards Reinz.
"Arts!"
Jeni was silent looking at the handsome face as well as beautiful in front of her.
"Reinz?" Sapa Jeni smiled a little.
"Thank you." said Reinz, bowing his head for a moment.
Jeni smiled back at Reinz's face, then shook her head.
"You don't have to thank me, we can be friends." Jeni replied that she could not see the beauty that God created so perfectly in front of her.
"For so long I thought life had been unfair to me, my mentality had run out. My mind is filled with hatred. I hate life and everything in this world." Reinz said his glassy eyes looked at the sea in front of him. "But I'm meeting Kai, my spirit is back."
Jeni let out a long sigh, momentarily lowering her head.
"I know, you can't be far from Kai. You don't worry, no one will take Kai from you" Jeni said.
"No, you don't understand how I feel right now." Reinz turned his gaze to look at Jeni's two eyeballs.
"I may not understand how you feel, what happened to you. But at least, I can be a good listener and advisor." Jeni smiled broadly revealing a row of her white clean teeth.
Reinz shook his head slowly with a smile. "Of course."
"You don't believe me?" Ask Jeni.
"I believe what I like" Kai replied briefly.
Jeni swallowed her saliva, smiled faintly, her hands outstretched about to touch Reinz's shoulders.
"Reinz!"
Reinz and Jeni turned towards Kai who was running over. He looks more cheerful and has improved after treatment for a few days.
"Kai.." said Jeni.
But Kai just stared at the cute face of Reinz and then pulled his hand and took him to run a little along the beach.
Jeni smiles they laugh happily running a little run.
"I've always struggled to get people to like me and want to be friends with me, but in fact it torments me deeply." Muttered Jeni.
"It hurts, right?"
The screeching jeni was shocked to hear the voice of the woman behind him. He looked back at a beautiful woman.
"You who?" Ask Jeni.
"Babys!" Beby extended his hand.
"Arts!" He returned Beby's handshake and pulled his hand back.
"Do I know you?" ask Jeni again.
"No, but soon we'll get to know each other. Can we even be friends?" Beby smiled.
"Look at him laughing, he was like I could reach him. But in fact, I can only admire him from afar." Beby. His eyes looked at Reinz and Kai who were playing in the sea water.
"Who?" jeni asked, looking towards Kai and Reinz.
Beby chuckled and pulled his hand to leave the beach and sat on a bench under a tree and chatted.
While Kai and Reinz are engrossed in their own world, they care less about the two women talking under a tree.
Kai splashed water on Kai's shirt with a small laugh, wiping his face wet with sea water.
"I heard that your engagement with Jeni will remain. Are you just gonna take that match?"
Reinz asked kai seriously. Kai was stunned looking at Reinz's face, all this time they had never spoken seriously other than joking.
"Have it, don't you talk about it. I don't love Jeni anyway. He's my best friend and will only help me to stay with you." Obviously Kai.
"How do you feel about me?" Reinz stared hard at Kai.
Kai chuckled and pinched Reinz's waist.
"Of course you're my best friend, half your life is with you." Reveal Kai.
Reinz was not at all pleased with Kai's reply.
"Sister?"
"Hahaha of course!" Sahut Kai laughed loudly.
"But me?" Reinz said stopped, he saw a group of men wearing all black and wearing face coverings walking up to them. Each of them carried a sharp weapon.
"Kai..." Reinz pulled Kai's hand.
Kai looked at Reinz. Then he pulled Reinz's hand.
"Run.." said Kai.
Reinz did not want to run, but Kai insisted. Eventually the two ran towards Beby and Jeni. A group of men run after Kai and Reinz.
"Run!!!" Shouted Kai towards Jeni and Beby.
Jeni and Beby are shocked to see Kai and Reinz being chased by a group of strangers.
"Jeni, you get the car first!" Beby's Order.
Jeni nodded then ran quickly away from Beby.
"Reinz!!"
Beby yelled out to Reinz and ran towards them when he saw Kai fall.
"Kai!" Reinz then helps Kai to stand up.
"Hurry up!" Reinz carried Kai's body on his back.
"Reinz hurry!" Excited Beby.
Reinz nodded then the two of them ran away avoiding the pursuit of a group of people.
"Brummm!!!"
"Let's hurry!!" Yells Jeni from the car.
Beby opens the car door and then enters, following Kai and Reinz.
"Brummm!
Jeni turned the direction of the car quickly and then drove it at high speed. Reinz looked back, seeing the group of people trailing far away.
"Who are they?" Kai asked his chest hurt, he groaned slowly making Reinz and Jeni worried.
"Kai, are you okay?" Ask Jeni.
"I'm fine." The answer.
"I don't know who they are, but I'm sure they're a man." Said Beby.
Reinz and Kai turned towards Beby.
"Who?" Ask Reinz.
Beby shook his head slowly.
"I don't know."
