Chapter 11

"You daydreaming?" Sojin greeted Jeni who was sitting on the chair looking in the mirror in front of her.

Jeni looked up at her sister.

"No."

"You've been working hard all this time looking for their whereabouts. Don't blame yourself too much." Sojin.

Jeni lowered her head, shaking her head slowly.

"I purposely set up a hospital for you, but you're working for another hospital." Sojin Protest.

"Sorry." Said Jeni.

"Have you told Kai?' Ask Sojin.

Jeni shook her head.

"Not yet."

Sojin took a long breath.

"The day of your engagement with Kai. Why haven't you told me the truth yet?" Ask Sojin.

"Yes, brother, I don't want to say it yet." Answer Jeni.

"What's really going on?" Ask Sojin again.

Jeni shook her head.

"You'd better take a break."

Sojin gently rubbed Jeni's hair, after which she went out of her sister's room.

"I'm sorry.I shouldn't have left you that time." Muttered Jeni.

"God..." Jeni nibbled her forehead, the guilt of the past always haunting her. The shadow of the face of the person he loves is always present at all times.

Jeni gets out of her chair and decides to meet Kai at her house.

"Why didn't you tell me from the beginning that you were a doctor?" Kai looked at Jeni's face.

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to lie to you. I was asked to be a friend while taking care of you. But I didn't expect that your grandfather would match us." Obviously Jeni.

Kai was silent for a long time. He did not refuse to chimed in said Jeni.

"I can help you." Said Jeni.

"What do you mean?" Ask Kai.

"You love Reinz, don't you? but you can't see him anymore." Jeni sighed for a moment. "We can do this engagement for Reinz's sake."

Kai frowned, trying to digest the word Jeni said.

"Later you understand what I mean. Now you rest and take the medicine." Jeni gets out of the chair, followed by Kai, and Jeni takes Kai to her room and brings him medicine.

Agatha is having an important corporate meeting that she leads. He begins to worry about the rumors of Kai's closeness to Reinz. He felt that their friendship would affect the continuity of the company and the dignity of his family which he had been guarding and upholding.

All this time his extended family has no blemish in the eyes of the public and the media. But since the closeness of Kai and Reinz, his family and company have been in the spotlight.

After the important meeting was over, Agatha went to the media and announced her granddaughter's engagement to Jeni. After that he returned to his office, he sat pensively remembering the past. The big secret that he had been hiding all this time seemed to haunt him suddenly arrived.

His gaze was empty, his hands were staring at an empty paper. His mind drifted to the past 20 years.

His brain was recording the events of that time. As he stood before a man, under the speck of rain. He forced a man to leave his two children.

But the man refused until there was a chase between the man and his men who tried to seize the two children.

Agatha took a heavy breath, all this time thinking that the problem would disappear in time. In fact, there was one of the media who questioned about a man named Juan.

"Juan, if you'd listened to me. Maybe it won't happen like this." Agatha Gumam.

"As a father, I always want what's best for you." Mumbled again. "Your wife is alive, but I don't know where she is now."
