Season II: Part 22

"Mira, please send these books to the library." One of the office staff called Mira, asking her to bring the finished books of the students to the library.

"It's not morning yet, Ma'am?" It's still too early to start working hours because Mira knows that office hours start at 7 am while this has just entered at 6 am.

"Don't worry, it's 7 in a minute so when you get there you just have to wait a little bit more." The staff replied that they did not want to be too dizzy.

Mira nodded in agreement, despite having to wait an hour but it wasn't too long for her. Well, it's better this way than constantly daydreaming without knowing what to do. Hem, it feels really excruciating to Mira. Parting with Sapphira made him sad and he also had to stay away from Aldo so that there was only pain he felt. He really didn't know how to deal with the next day.

"Alright, then I go first huh, Ma'am." He took the books with him in his arms. Take him carefully towards the direction of the library. While on the road, he rarely found people because he was sure at this time the santri must be busy preparing his needs during class later.

"I.I want to return the book, Mom." Mira replied in a panic wondering if she had missed something, Ah!

Of course he missed important things, Aldo loved books and of course the best place for him was the library. Hah.what a pity Mira. Intend to stay away but even near!

"Oh, then please come in." Aldo smiled awkwardly while giving Mira a place to pass.

Mira did not want to wait long and immediately carried the books into her arms, then hurriedly went inside to explore which shelves these books would keep.

Not until he could breathe a sigh of relief as he had kept his distance with Aldo, could he suddenly hear steady footsteps following him from behind. Making Mira's breath more unsettled while feeling her blood flow soaring hot due to her extremely fast blood rate.

"I know where this book was put, do you need my help?" Aldo asked in a very sexy deep voice, almost making Mira's defense collapse. But no, he would not wish Aldo any more because Sapphira liked Aldo!

"Ah. no need Mas, I can find it myself." Mira hurriedly replied while speeding up her steps to be further from Aldo. However, instead of slowing down the steps behind him it sounded even closer and faster!

This further made Mira panic, even her heartbeat was very alarming due to her extremely strong and fast detachment. This... won't make it a heart attack, will it?

"I. I can really find" Before he could finish his words, suddenly a strong hand pulled out his hand.

"Tell me why you've been away from me all this time." Demand Aldo want Mira to explain the mistake or reason why he stayed away from Aldo.

All this time Aldo always wondered why Mira when he saw it would always end up running away. It was as if Mira was meeting her mortal enemy which made her very uncomfortable. However, every time he interacted with Mira before he never kept his distance from her. Even they both seem very relaxed when talking, so seeing Mira's fickle behavior like this inevitably makes Aldo wonder.

"Mas Aldo may have misunderstood, Mira has never kept her distance from Mas Aldo at all." Her smile tried naturally when saying this, pulling her delicate hand from Aldo's firm grasp. However, instead of releasing Mira's hand, Aldo strengthened her even more and unconsciously made Mira grimace in pain.

"You lied to Mira, I know that you've been trying to stay away from me all this time. Tell me, why did you do that? Is there anything about me that makes you feel uncomfortable?" Aldo did not want to let go of Mira and let her go because he was sure that after today Mira would have kept a great distance from him. Not giving him a chance to get close to him.

"Mas.don't be like this." Please Mira feels her heart in a lot of pain at this moment. How could he have told Aldo if he liked it?

That would be very embarrassing.

"Mira.I love you so much but how could you keep torturing my feelings, acting like you don't have any feelings for me." Aldo finally says how he feels about Mira. The feeling of pain and uneasiness he felt when he saw how cruel Mira's attitude had recently been.

"Didn't what I liked was Sapphira?" Tanya Mira does not believe because what she knows about the meeting 2 years ago made Safira and Aldo like each other.

"Why should I like Safira? Obviously the person I like is you." Denying Aldo can guess if all this time Mira misunderstood him.

"But didn't you guys meet 2 years ago?" Tanya Mira did not understand.

"So-so, did Aldo like me?" Tanya Mira was happy, she could feel the feeling of happiness was now overflowing in her heart.

"Yes, you are the one I love." Aldo replied confidently without any doubt.

Because Aldo once again gave affirmation to him, of course, making Mira's heart more happy. But it did not last long because the shadow of Safira's heartache again flashed in his head. Suddenly he immediately released Aldo's hand from his hand and kept the right distance with him.

Aldo was stunned and did not understand why Mira was away from him again, but he had seen the feeling of pleasure that came behind Mira's smile.

"I can't Mas Aldo." Mira said with pain.

Aldo doesn't understand, "Why can't you?" The question does not understand.

"That's because Sapphira really likes Mas Aldo." Mira replied without hesitation. Again, he did not want to hurt Mira's feelings.

"But what I love is you." Aldo reminded.

Mira shook her head softly and wanted to take her step even further, but before she could do so Aldo had already pulled her into a warm embrace. This warm embrace subconsciously made his heart become relieved and calm, he could not deny that his heart already belonged to this handsome man.

"I know you're best friends because that's why you should be able to think clearly. If Sapphira really loves you then whatever we do she will support her, Mira.please think again about us. If you feel unable to face Sapphira then I will always be beside you, we will together talk to Sapphira and explain to her that the heart cannot be forced. Mira, are you listening to me?" Aldo asked gently, lightly stroking Mira's slender back.

"Hem, we'll try." After thinking for a long time there is no harm in trying. If Sapphira was angry then she would be forced to go home to her parents and really try to forget Aldo.

Mira stared blankly at the other side of the bed, she was currently thinking seriously about what steps she would take to talk to Safira. Whether it was accepted or not, Mira wanted to talk about it with Safira. He still hopes Safira opens her heart again for Mira.

Suddenly the door of his room opened and displayed the slender figure of Safira. Safira naturally walked towards her bed as if the incident two weeks ago had never happened to the two of them.

"Safira, you're back." Mira said happily and a little nervously while taking over Safira's suitcase from her hand. If Sapphira comes back here, it's a sign that Safira has forgiven him.

"Mira, stop." Safira said as usual, there was no hostile tone there like the last time they had a fight.

"Sorry." Mira said embarrassedly as she removed Safira's suitcase from her hand. He shyly sat back on his bed watching Sapphira who also sat himself in his bed first.

"I'm sorry, Mira, I was so shocked that I easily got out of control. However, after thinking about it I thought you two liked each other then it was inappropriate for me to be a third party in your relationship." After a few seconds of silence, Safira finally started their conversation. He admitted that he was wrong and acted impulsively at that time.

"Safira, I betrayed you-"

"Don't say that because what Mas Aldo likes is you and not me. After all, getting married at such a young age would interfere with my college time. Just look, I've just been in semester 3 and my journey to becoming a successful person is still long. Love affairs can be postponed first. I also don't want to lose a best friend like you, I don't want us to be ruined just because of my selfishness. So Mira, please forgive me." "Safira, tomorrow I'll be back home. Umi and Abi have also come home so I want to stay with them." Safira said the reason why he brought his suitcase here. Tomorrow he will go home and spend the rest of his holidays with Umi and Abi at home.

"As I expected, he's definitely not going to let you go." Syafira had already guessed what kind of person Aldo was so he was not surprised at all.

"After the day is decided please invite me, I want to see my best friend step up and start a beautiful new chapter. Mira, I'm so happy for you." His words were sincere, conveying how happy he was to see Mira being able to catch up with the others.

Now that he is alone, he must pass through his days slowly and patiently to find his love. I don't know, even though he was injured, but Sapphira believes Allah's scenario is the best. He just needs to wait for that happiness to come to pick him up like the story of Annisa and Gio. Patience leads them to a beautiful day. Hem, Sapphira did not hesitate to follow in their footsteps because it was possible that somewhere the priest was being patient too.
