Bridal Flowers
Season II: Part 10

"Lho Dea, are you back here? Didn't I see you at the mosque?" On the way Dea met Masha who was ready for her meeting.

"Well.." Dea did not immediately reply, he tried to neutralize the sound of his heartbeat that still felt dusty. He could also feel his hands begin to sweat and tremble slightly.

"What's wrong?" Tanya Masha felt that something was wrong with Dea.

"Did you just run here?" Dea's breath sounded rushed as if she had just escaped from somewhere.

Well, it could be that Dea was too afraid to stay alone in the mosque so decided to run as fast as possible here.

Dea who had been confused wanted to answer what finally got the idea from Masha. "Em.well, I did run here. That place.." Glancing at the mosque dome that is always upright standing as if through the sky.

"It's too quiet and I'm a little scared." He continued to give reasons that were of course immediately believed by Masha.

Masha who was always innocent shook her head helplessly. It turned out that his guess was indeed true if Dea was frightened.

"You should not be afraid because time will soon enter imsak time. Not only that, now it has entered the month of fasting where all demons are shackled in hell. So, there's nothing to be afraid of right now." This is the month of Ramadan, a glorious month also full of Mercy.

Even so glorious this month God deliberately shackled Satan in hell so that His servants can worship with dignity and calm. Not only that shows how glorious this month is, this month of Ramadan is also full of Grace in every second is worship to God if we practice it in earnest.

Seriously to get the pleasure of Allah which if Allah meridhoi then we will be benefited by the decline of the night Lailatul Qadar. The night that God and his army came down to earth, made it the most peaceful and soothing day. Every servant of His who pleads with Him that night will be Allah's immediate, God will grant without waiting a long time.

The night was a form of how much God loved His servant. Honey until beyond our reasoning, well, if we all realize it all.

"Ah, do you know where you are if all the demons are shackled in hell?" Dea of course doubted this because honestly he had never heard of any of this.

Did he learn it in school?

Hearing the basic question of Dea, Masha was of course a bit in shock. This is a common thing that many people know but why Dea still does not know it.

"Of course it's da-" Suddenly the soft voice of shahdu ustadz Aldi interrupted his speech.

"Have entered imsyak Dea, the answer will be yes after we finish morning prayers." Since imsyak time has entered and ustadz Aldi is also teaching at the mosque then Masha does not want to continue this conversation again.

For him he must put all his attention on the poet he admires.

"All right, it's up to you." Dea shrugged her shoulders indifferently as if she did not care, but at this moment her heart was beating fast after hearing the wonderful melodious voice of someone who had for several days stolen her attention.

Gosh, among all the men here why must ustadz Aldi?

"Then let's go to the mosque, find the most strategic saf so that we can see the imam pray directly." Masha's spirit while pulling Dea's hands that felt cold and moist.

Although it was a wonder why Dea's hand became like this but Masha did not take it too seriously. He thought maybe Dea was still afraid of the ghosts in his fantasy.

"Why are we going to the second floor?" Confused Dea when they had just entered the mosque instead of holding a prayer mat in an ordinary place but Masha instead pulled him to the second floor.

Very excited Masha, "Yes we pray on the second floor because that place is the most strategic place to see the future. Both of us are the first to enter the mosque so we are free to choose a good place to pray." So, on the floor there was a circular barrier creating a hole in the middle of the second floor. The barrier is all made of glass that meets safety standards so we are safe if standing near the barrier.

And do you know the thing that santriwati is looking for the most is the leading saf that is directly facing the transparent barrier. Because that way santriwati can clearly see the priest praying or santri men who happen to be liked.

That was why Masha was so enthusiastic going up to the second floor, since they were first so the place would be hers.

"God willing..." Masha muttered but could still be heard by Dea.

Intrigued by what Masha was seeing, Dea finally approached Masha. Touching the barrier casually, his gaze fell on the figure of a steadfast back who was looking down upon reading the Quran solemnly.

He was so solemn without realizing that a girl was looking at him with admiration. Dea is brought into the current that Aldi ustadz created, pulling it into a room that is comfortable and full of tranquility.

When was the last time Dea felt this comfortable and calm when breathing?

Drifting in his admiration, Dea did not realize that Ustadz Aldi had stopped teaching. He also did not realize if the ustadz Aldi he was secretly looking at like this turned his body, returning Dea's gaze of admiration directly and right in the eye.

Deg

Dea instantly realized it was made when their eyes actually met. Feeling her cheeks getting hot and Dea immediately shifted her gaze. He no longer dared to look at ustadz Aldi because he had just been caught!

"Oh my God, Dea!" Hysterical Masha could not stem his happiness. He shook Dea's arm enthusiastically, not caring if Dea scolded him later because he was disturbed.

"Stop being silly, tell me why you can be this crazy." Dea who gets diversionary help finally utilizes Masha's silliness to remove the traces of shame earlier.

"O Allah, Dea, Ustadz Aldi was writhing me, you know!" The story was happy, even his heart was already beating fast expressing how happy he was at the moment.

"O-oh, huh?" Dea asked doubtfully because she was very sure the person Aldi was looking at was her and not Masha.

"Yes Dea, she's squirming at me." Sure Masha is sure.

"Oh, thank goodness then." Ordinary Dea response. After that he did not care anymore with Masha's ridiculous ravings because he was currently secretly looking back at Aldi ustadz who was no longer looking at him.

Seeing this somehow Dea felt relieved and disappointed because Ustadz Aldi ignored him. Why is falling in love this complicated?

In contrast to the mixed atmosphere of Dea, the man who became the object of his disappointment was smiling with satisfaction. He could not stop smiling as he recalled the little cat being caught staring at him. Why is this cat so attractive?

"Is there anything fun that makes our young ustadz smile like this?" Ali's voice mocked after ending the teaching event.

Ustadz Aldi smiled faintly, hiding the reason deep in his heart.

"So, this is because the month I so longed for has finally come." Shifting his gaze looked at Ali who was also smiling.

"God once again met me with him in this place, what a beautiful scenario God is." He could not help but make Ali feel that there was something strange about Ustadz Aldi's words.

But yes, this is just his feeling and it is not necessarily true so Ali should not think about it seriously.

"What date is it now?" Dea asked after knowing that they had a day off. The cottage gives them the opportunity to go to the garden and pick some vegetables that should have been picked even though it is not a big harvest.

"Now April 24th coincides with the 1st of Ramadan." Masha answered while putting up her socks, preparing to go to the cottage garden.

"Why indeed?" Masha asked curiously, tumben once Dea asked about this.

"Oh, just curious." Answer Dea indifferently.

"Oh yeah, we're going straight to the garden." Let Dea not waste time.

Honestly, he was not too happy with a busy job like this let alone having to heat up. But rather than having to get stuck in the classroom learning nonsensical lessons then going to the garden is best.

Once they were in the garden, there were already many santriwati who filled the garden. They carefully look for vegetables that are worthy of being picked or not. For example, such as chili or eggplant vegetable that is easily recognized.

There are also cucumbers that although still young are still a target because cucumbers are better eaten when young than old.

"Which vegetable do we pick?" Dea asked after paying good attention all the places had been mobbed by many people.

"We're just going to the cucumber garden that's more meticulous." Masha seemed convinced by what he said.

"really?" Dea never saw cucumber plants and only ever saw the fruit.

"That's right Dea, cucumber is better than picking chili. You know not if your hands aren't used to picking those hot plants. Well, fear that your hands will overheat and end up messing up gardening."

Dea weighed carefully if what was said did indeed have a point. He was not used to doing rough things like this so it was better to find him safe.

"All right, it's up to you." Decide Dea is better to follow where Masha went because the most know and know this garden is the original inhabitants of boarding schools who have lived here for many years.

"All right, let's get there right away." Invite Masha to be happy because Dea is willing to accept her advice. Usually Dea was stubborn and hard to obey, so when he knew Dea was currently obedient then it was something rare.

Arriving at the cucumber garden, the jaw of Dea completely fell. He felt anxious to vomit blood after seeing what was called it easy by Masha.

"Are you seriously picking cucumber is easy?" Dea asked not knowing whether to laugh or cry. Why is picking chili so much easier?

Masha was also quite surprised by what she found, "I don't know if a cucumber tree is like this." His voice was weak to admit.

"If I know it's rough and thorny, then I'd better take you to find another garden." Then again afraid that Dea would spray him with anger

Sighing helplessly, Dea also knew that Masha was the same as her who knew nothing here so she would not think of scolding him.

"Alright, because we have entered this place then we should have also joined with others to pick cucumbers." Dea said just accept it while stepping closer to the cucumber tree with a lot of fruit and large.

Since there are not too many people in this garden, Dea does not feel too awkward in the activity, he is more relaxed if people are not as much as other gardens.

"Masha, how to pluck-" Once he shifted his gaze, there was no figure of Masha nearby.

"Where did this boy go?" Confused Dea because now he was the only one in this place and stupidly again Dea had no experience whatsoever when dealing with the garden.

"Well, since it's like this, being alone is fine." He shrugged his shoulders no matter what, Masha would also come back later.

Back, Dea's pure white hand stretched out to touch the coarse stem of the cucumber. Then he carefully pulled the cucumber whose body was also overgrown with coarse feathers that still felt uncomfortable in the palm of Dea's hand.

"Don't do it like this." Suddenly a heavy sound stopped Dea's efforts, making him suddenly release the cucumber so surprised he found the presence of Ustadz Aldi.

"U-ustad Aldi, why is it here?" He asked nervously, feeling that his heart was racing fast again.

Ustadz Aldi smiled lightly, sitting beside Dea with a distance far enough that it did not cause slander.

"Can't I be in this place?" Ask ustadz Aldi felt funny after hearing Dea's question.

The newly conscious Dea with her silly questions quietly lowered her head, covering the red hue that had continued to bloom on her cheeks.

"Sorry, I didn't mean it that way." Dea said shyly, disappointed in her impulsive self.

"I know and I don't take it to heart either." Ustadz Aldi said softly, no longer wanting to make Dea even more embarrassed.

Just look at it, he briefly saw if his face was really red.

"Use this in your hands." Ustadz Aldi said, removing a cloth glove from his right hand. Then he casually extended his hand to Dea for her to take.

"What's this for, ustadz?" Dea asked with her mind still in a daze, she still could not cope with how fast this heart was beating and how sweet the feeling she was feeling.

"Wear it so that your hand does not hurt when picking it." Repeated ustadz Aldi once again gave directions so that Dea could immediately understand what he said.

"Well.." Dea now understood and with trembling hands he put on the T-shirt given by Ustadz Aldi. He also just realized that the hand sweatshirt had previously been worn Ustadz Aldi.

Thinking of this somehow as if Dea was being carried away, he felt very embarrassed and happy at the same time, ah!

"I've been wearing it, ustadz." Report Dea while showing her right palm covered in a T-shirt.

"Well, now look how I picked this cucumber properly and safely." His voice while demonstrating to Dea how to pick young cucumbers in front of him.

After seeing the simple movements of Ustadz Aldi, the head of Dea involuntarily nodded in understanding. Raising his hand grabbed the cucumber, then carefully he pulled the cucumber slightly bent up so that the stem immediately released the fruit.

"It turns out it's very simple." Dea muttered in surprise if what she had thought was difficult turned out to be simple.

"Right, it's this simple." Said ustadz Aldi relaxed which again makes Dea more embarrassed.

Subjecting his head, Dea tried to look for the topic of conversation because his chest was currently pounding fast. He was afraid that if ustadz Aldi could hear him, so he wanted to find a diversion to reduce his nervousness.

Thinking on continuing, he finally remembered his conversation with Masha who had delayed dawn earlier. As a person who has never studied religion, of course, he is curious whether it is true or just plain old man nonsense.

"Ustadz Aldi, may I ask?" Ask Dea for permission. If it was yesterday, maybe Dea would have been presumptuous and asked without asking permission. But now he is no longer behaving like that because the perfect person next to him is now his oustad and his oustad is already secretly he likes.

So, when adjacent to him he will automatically feel nervous and happy at the same time. All of his actions will feel awkward and thrilling.

Ustadz Aldi smiled knot, for some reason he always had intuition if this girl had high curiosity. "May, as much as possible I will answer it clearly." The answer allows while picking cucumbers in front of him smoothly.

As expected, Ustad Aldi is always good.

"Ustad, is it true what people say when the month of Ramadan all demons are shackled in hell by Allah?" Dea asked a little nervously.

"And if that's true then why in this month many people do prostitution? Are there no demons bothering us?" This was also his personal experience. When the month of Ramadan arrives he often performs prayers, whether it is not doing prayers or go crawling to an unusual place, Dea has done it.

And it was during the fasting month, he was not awkward at all to act that crazy.

Ustad Aldi nodded lightly, inwardly he was amazed by this girl's question. Maybe for many people this question is trivial and seems easy, but they do not realize if in fact they are quite wrong and do not know at the same time.

They just follow what people say without needing to figure out what is right or wrong. Like Dea, he dared to find out about the truth of this matter.

"In shaa Allah this is true because the Prophet Shallallahu ‘alaihi wa sallam has mentioned that when Ramadan comes, the demons are shackled. Does this mean that this hadith is no longer valid or that the hadith is not true to see that there is still a madness in this glorious month?" The voice of Ustad Aldi quietly began to answer the desire to know Dea.

Dea did not answer and only focused on listening even though her hands were not silent and busy picking cucumbers.

"Of course, the Prophet Shallallahu ‘alaihi wa sallam did not lie. He is as-Shadiq (the righteous) and al-Mashduq (must be allowed). The shahih is also. The History of Bukhari Muslims. So where's the problem side?" Ask again while putting the freshly picked cucumber into the basket in front of him.

"When we face the hadith of the shahih, but there are things that hamper so we still question, then forward this statement, this statement,

اتهم رأيك، اتهم نفسك

“Blame your wits... blame yourself”.

The doctrine of ourselves, the Quran is true, the hadith is true, the Apostle is true, the hadith is flawless. Furthermore, this was all due to my limitations in understanding it. It is because of our ignorance. Husnudzan (prejudice of good-red) to hadith, and suudzan (prejudice of bad-red) to oneself. Before, we read his hadith:

From Abu Hurairah radhiyallahu ‘anhu, Rasulullah shallallahu ‘alaihi wa sallam bersabda,

“When Ramadan arrives, the doors of heaven are opened, the doors of hell are closed, and the devil is shackled.” (CHR. Bukhari no. 1899 and Muslim no. 1079).

In another lafazh it is mentioned,

“If entering the month of Ramadan, the doors of mercy are opened, the doors of Hell are closed and the demons are tied with chains.” (CHR. Bukhari no. 3277 and Muslim no. 1079).

Next, we go back to the question above. Why is there still maksiat, if the devil has been shackled?" Again, he asked but again Dea did not respond because he knew that Aldi was not asking for his argument.

"There are several approaches that scholars have conveyed in understanding this case, First, the source of mass is not only Satan. Because the human lust there plays a role. The description was conveyed by Imam as-Sindi in his Hashiyah (note) for sunan an-Nasai. He said,

Hadith ‘demons shackled’ does not mean negating all forms of manxiat. Because it could have emerged because of the influence of bad and evil souls. And the emergence of evil does not always come from the devil. If all comes from demons, it means that there are demons that interfere with demons (demons of demons), and so on. As we know, no demon precedes Satan. So that the devil is pure from himself. Allahu a’lam. (Hashid Sunan an-Nasai, as-Sindi, 4/126)." Take a soft breath.

"Second, the devil is shackled but he can still interfere. It's just, he's not as free as when released. Because the shackled creature is only tied to the hands and neck. While his feet, his tongue can still work. We see the description of Imam al-Baji – ulama Malikiyah – in Syarh Muwatha’,

His word, ‘Setan shackled’ can be understood that it is essentially shackled. So that he was prevented from doing some deeds that he could not do except in a free condition. And this hadith is not a proposition that Satan is hindered from interfering at all.  Because of the person who was shackled, he was only tied from neck to hand. He can still talk, whisper ideas, or many other distractions." Dea's hand was unconscious and he also did not realize that he was now completely washed away in Aldi's clear and pleasant explanation.

"Third, the devil is not really shackled. Its nature is just figurative. Remembering the blessed month of Ramadan, and the many forgiveness Allah has for His servants during Ramadan. The devil is like being shackled. We continue al-Baji's remarks,

ويحتمل أن هذا الشهر لبركته وثواب الأعمال فيه وغفران الذنوب تكون الشياطين فيه كالمصفدة، لأن سعيها لا يؤثر، وإغواءها لا يضر…

We can also mean, that considering this month is a month of blessings, full of charitable rewards, a lot of forgiveness of sins, causing demons such as being shackled during Ramadan. Because the attempts he flirts with have no effect, and the attempts he misleads do no harm to man. (al-Muntaqa Syarh al-Muwatha’, al-Baji, 2/75).

Fourth, those who are shackled are not all demons. But only a high class demon (maradatul jin). The other demons can still be free. There was a maksiat, caused by the whispers of ordinary class demons. In the fatwa the Islamic shabakah is stated,

وقد ذهب بعض أهل العلم إلى أن الذين يصفدون من الشياطين مردتهم، فعلى هذا فقد تقع المعصية بوسوسة من لم يصفد من الشياطين

Some scholars argue that the demon that is shackled is only a high-class demon. Based on this opinion, the existence of maksiat, caused by whispers of unshackled demons. (Fatwa Syabakah Islamiyah, no. 40990).

"Well, from here we already know that there are many opinions of scholars about this and for the truth we leave everything to Allah SWT. We just need to strengthen our faith and increase our worship of Allah SWT, make God fall in love with us by showing how much we love God SWT." The voice of Ustad Aldi ended his explanation, turning his gaze away his clear and dark sharp eyes met with eyes full of admiration Dea.

For a moment he did not know what to say when he was completely swept away in this girl's gaze.

"Masyaa Allah, the explanation of Ustad Aldi is very good and clear. We who listen to him understand him immediately." A girl's voice suddenly interrupted the silence of Ustad Aldi and Dea.

"Sa-Safira?" Kaget Dea saw there was Sapphira and Mira at the end there.
