MEET BEAR

Bear stepped foot into the Gold Hotel. And as Ethan said before, the place was empty, there was no one there, not even the security guards.

Gold Hotel which was previously very crowded visited by tourists and important people who had a meeting or an event, now looks like an abandoned building.

Ethan had vacated the place a month ago on the grounds of moving into a new building, a reasonable enough reason to deceive people.

Her ultimate goal is to close Lady Castle once and for all.

Ethan is determined in his heart to stop his dirty business involving the women. He felt very guilty for Chaerin, because the woman spent quite a long time there.

After Ethan's astonishing confession about himself is GD, and he orders Chaerin hired at Lady Castle, Ethan promises Bear something.

Ethan promises to give Chaerin and Bear a new identity, and Ethan will also look after Chaerin forever, by marrying him.

And of course Bear doesn't believe the words of a lying man like Ethan.

His real identity as GD is hidden, and he acts as a nice guy, Ethan Zie. Such a man would most likely not keep his word.

Bear does not even believe Ethan's words, that he has closed Lady Castle, and freed the women who worked forcibly there.

"You can check for yourself, that place I've vacated for a long time, there's no more Lady Castle"

Ethan wiped away the blood on his lips from Bear's punch.

Bear is furious, to the point that the big guy hits Ethan blindly.

"You have to believe that I love so much." Ethan's words get stuck when one hit of Bear lands on his face.

"Love, cruel men like you talk about love!" Bear hit Ethan again.

"I've loved him since I first saw him"

Ethan spat to the side, his mouth felt rancid with blood.

Bear withstood the next blow he was about to lay, as he realized the meaning of Ethan's words.

Memories of 20 years ago are back in his memory. A scrawny kid in a mess, wearing ripped clothes that were already unworthy.

Bear releases his grip on Ethan's collar, and drops Ethan to the floor.

"Zie's? 213? Chaerin gave you the name Ethan" Bear muttered, with his eyes glaring.

Bea grabbed her own hair and yelled in frustration.

"Agh why didn't I realize it earlier, your name is Ethan Zie!!!"

And here he is now, being at the Gold Hotel to ascertain whether it is true that Ethan has sealed off Lady Castle, or just deceived her.

After remembering their meeting 20 years ago, Bear decides to trust Ethan one more time.

Ethan has helped her and Chaerin in the past, and Ethan deserves a chance, as long as the man is honest.

Bear goes up to the 12th floor in an elevator, deliberately carrying a gun just in case Ethan lies to him and he is trapped.

And sure enough when the elevator door opened, some people who had prepared in front of the elevator door shot Bear blindly, and fortunately Bear was still able to dodge.

All the bad thoughts about Ethan that trapped him filled Bear's head.

Bear did not prepare enough to fight many people, but his wild instincts managed to make him survive even though his body was dragged by many bullets.

He had almost managed to finish off everyone on the 12th floor.

But there was a man who ran off on the elevator to the 13th floor, and Bear was sure George was there.

Bear rushed after the man into the elevator and hit him with his big hand, making the man fall unconscious.

Bear climbed to the 13th floor and sure enough, when the elevator door opened, George's arrogant face immediately became the first sight to welcome the arrival of Bear.

Bear had already shot at George, but George was more nimble and cunning.

And in the end, George shot Bear right in the heart and made the big man collapse to the floor.

In his semi-conscious state, Bear hears gunshots, and a second later George's body falls beside his body with bulging eyes and a hollow head.

From his voice, Bear can already guess who shot George.

Bear smeared the figure of a man, tall, with very white skin and reddish lips, what if not Sean.

"Don't move if you don't want to die, the officer from Gold Hospital will be here soon" Sean whispered next to Bear's ear softly, but Bear could hear him clearly.

"Sorry sir, Geoge's making trouble, maybe he thinks if he can bring Chaerin back, you'll admit to him" Sean said on the phone, and Bear was sure it was Ethan.

"What's bad there?"

"I was forced to shoot George, the police will be here soon, it looks like we have no choice but to let him"

"Alright, ask Jonathan to take care of everything, my name can't get dragged"

"All right, sir"

Sean hung up and put the phone back in his Jeans pocket.

"Hold in a moment" Sean whispered again to Bear, who was losing consciousness.

Chaerin rushed into Gold Hospital with Maple.

The security guard, who saw Chaerin, immediately wanted to stop the woman, because Chaerin was trying to enter a special elevator that was only allowed to be used by the elite of the hospital, and the elevator can access floors that are not intended for the public.

For patients, doctors, nurses, or officers who work at Gold Hospital are not allowed to use the elevator, without the direct permission of Ethan.

The security guard confronted Chaerin right in front of the elevator door, and pulled him away.

"Sorry, you can't use this elevator, you can use that elevator there" the tall, skinny man in the blue uniform pointed at the elevator across from his hand.

"It's the only elevator you can use to get to the 12th floor!"

Chaerin spoke in a high tone, Maple who had just seen her mother speak so loudly was immediately shocked and cried softly.

"Mama's not mad at you, don't cry" Chaerin stroked Maple's head to make the boy a little calmer.

"If it wasn't for Maple here, you would have me finish off" Chaerin spoke softly as he glared at the security guard.

"Floor 12 is a floor for researchers, not just anyone can go in there" the attendant explained with a smile, unaffected by Chaerin's previous remarks.

"For a long time the vip floor has been moved to another floor, when I first worked here 5 years ago, the vip floor has been moved to the 15th and 16th floors"

Chaerin glanced at the identification tag hanging from the left pouch of the security guard.

"Your name's Roy?"

"Yes my Roy"

"I'm in such a hurry right now, so let me through, if you still insist, there are only two options for you. First you'll be fired, second you'll die, pick one" Chaerin stared intently at Roy as a sign that the threat wasn't just a bluff.

But Roy bravely ignores the threat, and still blocks Chaerin.

Yohan smiled, she assumed Chaerin was praising her.

"Good for you" Chaerin looks unconcerned with Yohan's chatter, and walks towards the elevator.

Yohan could only stand by as Chaerin ignored her, her pride slightly hurt by Chaerin's treatment, even though she had been as courteous as possible.

"The whore, how could Ethan's master marry her, has no ethics and no manners. He had never appeared for several years, I thought he was dead" Yohan muttered softly.

Yohan patted Roy on the back.

"You're lucky you didn't die today, the woman was notoriously cruel" Yohan said exaggeratingly, and Roy gulped his hard-earned saliva.

Chaerin reached the 12th floor after being in the elevator he passed a Retina scan. Fortunately, his data is still stored.

True said Roy, the 12th floor is much different from what he once knew.

There is no more reception desk, which is usually immediately visible when exiting the elevator.

The lobby, which used to be very luxurious with crystal lights, is now replaced with very bright white neon lights. Everything is no longer the same as it used to be.

Chaerin walked in slowly, at the sight of some people walking fast. They were all dressed the same, white lab coats, some wearing masks and protective glasses.

Chaerin tried to observe them, in case there was one of them he knew. For more than a minute he was in san, he saw a dozen people passing by, but none of them he knew, it seemed like the 12th floor was filled by new people.

"Uncle Sean!" Maple who was still in Chaerin's arms suddenly shouted and forced to descend.

Chaerin looked back and Sean was in front of the elevator door.

Maple ran over to Sean who was still motionless from his place. It looks like Maple was pretty close to Sean after their brief encounter, when Ethan brought Maple home.

Maple raised her hand, as a gesture that she wanted to be carried. But sean resolutely rejected it by ignoring Maple, and walked towards Chaerin.

Maple follows Sean half-run, Sean's long legs making his strides wide and fast, not comparable to Maple's small legs.

Sean lowered his head for a moment in front of Chaerin, then looked at the woman coldly, just like always.

"Can you keep this kid away from me?" Sean looked at Maple who was now hanging at his feet.

"I think he likes you" Chaerin said indifferently.

"But I don't like him, he's a lot like you, and he smells like a baby" Sean tried to untie Maple's grip on his leg, but the boy stuck firmly in there like he was asleep.

"I guess you've started liking me, haven't you?"

"I hate you again, because you're making Mr. Ethan difficult" Sean said.

"You're blind, this is where I'm in trouble because Ethan, he's making my life a mess, I've got to work at Lady Castle, he's trying to kill Bear, and he's lying to me!" said Chaerin emotion.

Chaerin felt he was the one who suffered the most here, but Sean said otherwise.

"Mr Ethan is so sorry, he thinks you want to work for him to make money, and the right place to hire women is Lady Castle. Mr. Ethan wants to be honest with you about who he really is, but he's worried you'll get mad and leave. And the most important thing for you to know is, Mr. Ethan didn't have the slightest intention of killing the bear"

Sean explained at length. Chaerin was stunned to hear it, this was the first time Sean had talked so much to him.

"Mr Ethan suffers from severe depression, which causes him to have to take high doses of sleeping pills so he can sleep well at night. Chaerin smiled cynically, he almost believed in all of Sean's words that sounded very melancholy, Chaerin was sure, Ethan would never do such a thing.

"You're here for sure to meet Bear, he's there" Sean pointed to a room with a glass door in the corner of the room.

"i'll keep Maple for a while, so you can talk to Bear more freely" Sean walked over to drag his leg because Maple was still hanging there.

Chaerin immediately ran towards the room that Sean was referring to and pressed the green button beside the door.

As soon as the door opened, Chaerin stepped in, but there was another door in front of him, while the door behind him closed.

White gas gushed from various directions, but strangely the gas did not make Chaerin cough or tight.

After a few seconds, the gas stopped spraying, and the air around had returned to its original state.

The door in front of Chaerin opened automatically, and Chaerin definitely entered, passing through the door nervous, hoping that the Bear he would soon meet was fine.

Chaerin saw a skinny man sitting on a wheelchair, looking out through the tightly shut window.

"Is it time to take the medicine?"

The man turned his wheelchair around, to see who was coming. And his eyes immediately glared because what was in front of him was not a doctor or nurse, but someone who had been very eager to meet him.

"Chae, are you alive?!"

Bear smiled towards Chaerin and Chaerin directly hugged the man tightly while crying out loud.

"Bas stupid, what diet you can be thin like this, where the usual lemka hangs on your cheeks" Chaerin said between his cries.
