Chaerin was dressing up with several servants who were also busy arranging the dress that Chaerin would wear tonight at Ethan's birthday party, as well as a celebration party welcoming the new year.

Chaerin has been choosing her dress for weeks, she bought 10 dresses, went around all day, even met the famous designer from Paris to make her a dress that suits her wishes, but in the end she only wore one simple dress that she bought from a roadside store with a 30% discount for tonight's event.

Christina complained several times about the dress that Chaerin will wear which in its value is not at all classy. Christina was already at a loss for words to persuade Chaerin but there was no point, Chaerin was so stubborn, his head was probably made of chunks of iron ore.

Chaerin stuck out his hand to grab his drinking glass on the edge of the table, the hot weather and the hordes of people who were now roaring him made him sultry.

Accidentally Chaerin pushed the picture frame near his glass and made it fall, the broken glass from the frame scattering on the floor near Chaerin's feet.

Chaerin reflexively held onto her chest that was instantly pounding, for some reason her feelings became uncomfortable.

The maids quickly cleared the broken glass, fearing that Chaerin would be hurt, and their lives would be lost in Ethan's hands.

"Is this a bad sign?" a servant was noisy to his other friend, but his little whisper could be heard by Christina.

"Nothing bad happens just because the glass breaks, stop being superstitious!" snapped Christina.

Chaerin looked at the photo of himself and Ethan lying on the floor with a still uneasy feeling.

"Give me that"

A waiter immediately took the photo and gave it to Chaerin.

Inguk walked casually towards the entrance while carrying a special black gold invitation with a barcode on the back side of the invitation.

An officer scanned the barcode on the invitation, to see if it was true that the person carrying the ballot was indeed the person invited.

The officer frowned when he saw the scanner screen that displayed the data of the invitation owner. The man before him was rather thin, with sharp eyes and jaws, while the profile shown on the scanner screen featured a man who was quite full and had a very different face.

"Are you Johnny Gao, from China?" officers watched Inguk from top to bottom to look for any resemblance to the man with a profile on screen.

Inguk pulls out his wallet and shows his identity card at a glance to prove that he is indeed Johnny Gao, just a few seconds and Inguk keeps his identity card back.

Inguk had wanted to walk in but two guards blocked the entrance and did not open the road.

"I'm on a strict diet and doing surgery in some parts, I haven't had time to re-photo my ID, should I call Ethan and complain about your brazen attitude?" Inguk threatened confidently with his lies.

Inguk with an annoyed face took the phone from his blezer bag and pretended to press some numbers.

"Well you can go in, welcome Mr. Johnny Gao" said the officer bowed as he coded the guards to step aside and give way.

Inguk rushed in and immediately mingled amidst the crowd of other guests to hide themselves.

"Almost I'm caught, agh I'm handsome where I might be able to disguise myself as an ugly man" inguk grumbled while smoothing his blezer in front of a large mirror the size of his body near the pangung music player.

Wandering around enjoying parties, chatting with other guests and teasing girls who look alone. The people who had come to Ethan's party must have been high-ranking and wealthy people, not wanting to waste this opportunity to make a profit.

To establish closeness with rich and influential people is very profitable, maybe someday he can cheat one of them and drain the wealth.

As a conman Inguk uses more brain and mouth, than other limbs. Anyone who heard Inguk speak almost all believed the lie that the man spoke, especially if it was a woman.

But Inguk's main purpose in coming to Ethan's birthday party tonight is not to find prey to be deceived, let it be a distraction while doing its main purpose. He's looking for Chaerin.

A few months ago he was shocked by the news of Ethan Zie and Chaerin's wedding. At first Inguk only thought that his friend was very lucky to be married to a rich man whose property would never run out even though all the money was burned for offerings. Inguk had planned to meet Chaerin and ask him for money because the woman was now rich.

But the fact that he accidentally knew, made him unable to sleep well, every night he was in a nightmare about Chaerin, and his conscience said that he should be able to take Chaerin away, and keep him away from Ethan, as soon as possible.

From the middle of the crowd, Inguk could see towards the entrance, where the real Johnny Gao came with his wife and was intercepted by security personnel.

Inguk rushes to think of a way to find Chaerin as soon as possible before he gets caught.

A waiter carrying champagne on a tray accidentally bumped into Inguk and spilled a drink on his clothes. But more precisely, Inguk himself deliberately crashed into him.

"I'm sorry my master accidentally, if you'd like I can clean it.." said the waiter worried.

"It's okay, I'll clean it myself, can you show me where the toilet is?" inguk said with a friendly smile.

The waiter pointed towards the corner of the party room.

"When you go through the hallway you have to turn right"

Inguk nodded in understanding and immediately left the waiter patting his wet blezer. He wanted to go to the toilet to hide, but after arriving at the intersection of the hallway, Inguk saw a staircase at the end of the hallway.

Instead of turning right, Inguk walked straight into the hallway, and climbed to the top floor using a small staircase used by servants.

Inguk hurriedly rang behind the curtains as several maids passed by, and he vaguely heard Chaerin's name mentioned.

"I've had enough stress working to serve Mr. Ethan, and now his wife is almost as annoying" a servant grumbled to his friend.

"Here we go, we have to hurry before Miss Clara goes berserk" said the other waiter.

Inguk came out of hiding and noticed a room where the servants came out, he was sure that it was Chaerin's room.

Inguk held onto the door handle and turned it slowly, there was doubt in his heart, maybe not Chaerin who was in the room but someone else, and it would be worse if the one in the room was Ethan.

The doubt in her heart instantly dissipated as she found the figure in her car, a woman wearing a short red gown that was open on her back, makes the woman look very sexy even if only seen from behind.

Chaerin was chatting with a woman who was wearing a maid outfit but with a slightly different model to the waitress she had seen before

"Remember!" Chaerin was immediately aghast when he saw Inguk before him, the man had already disappeared for months and was suddenly here, this was an unexpected surprise.

"Oh hey, long time no see" Inguk waved his hand stiffly and walked over to Chaerin, accompanied by a full-fledged glance from Christina.

"It's okay Chris, he's my friend, Ethan must have invited him here" Chaerin said when he noticed Christina's face turning hostile.

"Yes, Ethan invited me as a vip guest" said Inguk lying with a reassuring face.

"It's a surprise, he didn't invite you to our wedding and instead invited you on his birthday" Chaerin said innocently, still thinking that Ethan did invite Inguk to come.

"Can I talk to Chaerin alone, we need some privacy" Inguk interrupted Chaerin's speech and looked at Christina.

Christina looked at Chaerin and waited for the order from her master. And after Chaerin nodded, Christina immediately left the room to let Inguk and Chaerin both to talk.

"We have to get out of here" Inguk whispered quickly as he grabbed Chaerin's arm and tried to pull her up.

"Go? Where's where?"

"Where, what's important is that we get out of here"

"You disappeared for months, and now come to take me away. Don't tell me you like me and teach me to run away together, I'm married!"

"I like you?! I told you I don't really like big-breasted women!"

"Then why? Today is Ethan's birthday, I can't leave, you must have been crazy for taking so long on the streets" Chaerin said, pushing Inguk's head against his index finger.

"Yes I'm crazy, I shouldn't be here to save you from GD!" inguk squeezed his hair out of annoyance with himself.

"Saved me? This place is under guard and on cctv cameras for 24 non-stop, you don't have to save me from anything, this place is very safe, Ethan will never let GD get close to me"

"Are you stupid, this place is the most dangerous place. I don't know what reason he married you, maybe he's some kind of cycopath who enjoys happy moments before killing his prey, or he's been crazy since birth, he won't protect you!"

"I don't understand what you're talking about, stop going around in circles and tell me clearly, what do you mean Ethan is a psychopath, and what does that have to do with GD?" urged Chaerin who began to be confused with Inguk's words.

Inguk retreated towards the back of the door as he heard the sound of footsteps getting closer.

Suddenly the door opens and Ethan enters the room.

"Are you ready?" Ethan grabs Chaerin's hand and kisses him gently.

"Ehm yeah, but........"

From behind the door Inguk shook his head and placed his index finger on the lip of the signal so that Chaerin remained silent.

"You have to be quick, there are a lot of people I want to introduce you to, and we're going to do a short interview with one of the magazines"

Chaerin ignored Ethan's words and immediately closed the door and locked it.

Ethan is briefly confused by Chaerin's strange behavior, but without a single thought, Ethan ignores Chaerin's strange behavior and goes downstairs alone.

"Explain it to me, or I'll call Ethan to kill you!" threaten Chaerin while pulling Inguk's collar and bringing the man out of his hiding behind the door.

"Listen to me carefully, and hold your emotions when you hear it" Inguk said as he pulled down his hand telling Chaerin to catch his breath.

Chaerin nodded quickly, he was impressed by what Inguk was going to say.

"The man you married was GD, the one who got you into Lady Castle, and the one who got Bear killed" said Inguk with a tone made a little dramatic.

"You kidding me?" Chaerin laughed out loud. "You just watched an action movie?"

Inguk pulled out his phone and showed me some photos.

In the first photo, Ethan is seen walking along the roadside around Lady Castle, and in the photo is seen George looking down very low when feeling near Ethan.

"She's been there a lot, of course she's familiar with George's jerk" Chaerin brushed off the photo and still had positive thoughts on her husband.

Inguk shows a second photo, where there are George, Ronan, and Sean in one frame.

"This white guy, Ethan's assistant, right? And Ronan is a GD confidant" Inguk pointed to one by one the people in the photo.

Chaerin's confidence began to waver, the photo was very real so there was no way it was a fake photo, let alone George, Ronan and Sean looking very close there.

Next is not the lag photo shown by Inguk, but the video. The video is taken from cctv footage, as Sean walks hastily out of Lady Castle and into the car.

"The white one came out of Lady Castle a while after Bear entered and made a fuss there"

From the video Chaerin's positive thoughts to Ethan are almost completely eroded.

Inguk shows the last photo, a photo of Ronan entering a car.

"You must know very well, whose car this is" said Inguk dramatically.

"Where did you get this?" ask Chaerin curiously.

"I met a drunk woman at a bar when I ran to China, she said she knew GD, she saw him during a drug deal, and she said his boss's life was in GD's hands. The woman gave me everything, I even met her boss and got all this evidence"

"I can't believe this, Ethan isn't GD, I'm sure no, I'll ask him directly"

Unable to be prevented by inguk, Chaerin exits the room and goes downstairs to look for Ethan.

Angered Chaerin is at the top of his head, he wants to hear straight from Ethan's mouth, is it true that he is GD.

Ethan wants to touch Chaerin's hand and take the woman to another place to talk, he doesn't want to fight in the middle of a lot of people, which will later create a lot of rumors, he said, but Chaerin brushed Ethan off.

Several guards were already preparing behind Chaerin and waiting for the cue from Ethan to incapacitate Chaerin.

Ethan orders the guards to retreat away from Chaerin, not wanting Chaerin to feel more depressed and actually pulling the trigger to shoot him in the head.

"Chae don't do that, don't hurt yourself, you can shoot me instead" Ethan said resignedly.

Inguk ran down from the top floor quickly and immediately grabbed the gun held by Chaerin, and Ethan was relieved.

"We need to get out of here as soon as possible" Inguk whispered as he looked at the guards around them.

This time it was Inguk who held the gun he had pulled out from behind his suit and pointed it at the guards who were preparing to capture him and Chaerin.

Chaerin pulls the trigger to shoot himself, but Inguk manages to grab Chaerin's hand and make the direction of the shot change, making the bullet stab into Ethan's right shoulder.

Sean prepares to avenge Chaerin but Ethan holds him back.

"I'm sorry, I should have been honest with you from the start, we could have started over, so please forgive me" Ethan held onto his bloodied shoulder.

"We're over, there's nothing to start over"

"If you dare to follow me, I assume you'd blatantly want me dead"

Chaerin pulled Inguk and took him out. Not a single guard followed Chaerin.

Ethan is filled with guilt and is forced to let Chaerin go.

Sean takes off his suit and covers Ethan's body from the head to hide Ethan's bursting cry.

The pain in his shoulder was nothing compared to the heartache and guilt Ethan felt after Chaerin's departure. Sean tries to calm Ethan down by hugging him tightly.

While the guards are still busy herding guests to come out because the party has been completely stopped.

Ethan sees a gift box in his room, a gift Chaerin has not yet given.

Ethan opens the box slowly and looks at the contents, just a black and white ultrasound photo. With the writing behind the photo.

"I can't wait to hear him call you papa"

Ethan's cry broke out in the middle of the night.
