7 Eps.Surprise

We teleported and arrived in front of the room. Rais opened the room door wide. Next to the sofa were two boys waiting for us. They looked towards both of us.

One of them was dressed all in black and his hair was wavy. He carried an old stick in his left hand.

The other was dressed in yellow and had a big blue hat. His face was a bit stye with thin eyebrows, not wrong anymore.

"Zam?" I was surprised to see his familiar face.

"Lian, I finally met you. I was looking for you this afternoon. It turns out you've arrived here." Zam exclaimed happily and shook my hand.

Rais saw me astonished.

"You know him?" He pointed at Zam.

"Yes, he was a close friend of mine during Junior High School." I answered while hugging Zam.

"You've been working in the Lower Hand district?" I asked Zam.

"Yes I worked there actually since graduating Junior High, and I gave a copycat robot to keep me in the upper world."

"That means the real Zam is always here?"

"No, I did go upstairs a lot, you met me a few times

the real one."

"When that?"

"When I gave you those tools and the other meeting just greeted each other."

"Oh, so. Then the Zam I met was kind of weird at school or at home was a copycat robot, huh?"

"Indeed, my copycat robot does have memory problems. So many memories of the past are repeated."

I nodded at Zam's explanation. Rais, who had heard us, invited everyone to sit down first. The boy who was with Zam introduced himself.

"My name is Kapi, Rin 30001. I have lived in the Lower Hand district since childhood. My parents sent me to the Alpha test here. So I set out with Zam's company."

Me and Rais nodded in understanding.We drove him to the room to tidy up

her luggage. The food that we had eaten was partially we stayed at the sofa side table for a while.

"Click." The front door opened when we entered the room.

Gina, Ella, and Asuza came in carrying their food in.

"You came in and brought food here.You didn't eat in the dining room?"

"No, it's full there. We'd like to know what you're doing with Kapi and that guy." Gina pointed at Zam.

"We were just chatting with them.The person you said from the Lower Hand district was called Zam. He's Lian's schoolmate. "Rais answered Gina's question.

I immediately drove Kapi to the room. Together arrange his clothes and other items in the closet.

Rais, Gina, Ella, and Asuza continued to eat. Zam ate for him and Kapi.

Fifteen minutes later Kapi and I finished the closet. His ability to clean up is very good. He can arrange all his things very symmetrical and pleasing to the eye.

We both left the room when we finished. Zam sat on the sofa with Rais. Gina, Ella, and Asuza are invisible.

"Gina, Ella, where's Asuza going?"

"They bought snacks in the cafeteria.Say they want to buy dessert."

"What dessert?"

Me and Kapi immediately sat down and finished our meal.

Sometimes we exchange jokes and talk.

My watch shows at nine o'clock in the evening. Me and Kapi have been eating dinner since last night. We put the food box in front of the door, like Rais and the others.

Gina, Ella, and Asuza had gone for another walk around the building after we had ice cream together.

"Lian, I'll be going home soon to the Lower Hand district. There's another job waiting for me there. I have to pay my ass."

I nodded in understanding. It's time for Zam to come home.

"You take this with you wherever you go. Someday it will be useful to you."

Zam handed him a sparkling white ring. It was as beautiful as a pearl on my necklace.

I received it carefully.I was afraid that this was also a precious object like Zam's previous gift. I put the ring in the bag.

"We'll see each other again soon."

I nodded back. He's my best friend, no matter how low he is, even if he's just an electronic shipper, I'll still be his best friend.

We shake hands as a friend. So did Kapi who also knew Zam near.

"Lian, my message, your new life is about to begin, with me or with others. You've got to try to be better than you are now." Zam walked to the entrance.

Zam stepped out before finally entering the teleportation elevator and leaving.

"You will die today!!"The loud scream shocked us who immediately moved away from the window.

"Stop!! What the hell is going on here?"

The five silver flyboards came swiftly a moment after that shout. One of them was driven by Affandi who spoke at that time.

The five flyboard riders made a large ball of light from the stick-shaped device they were carrying.

Five minutes of silence as the created ball of light grew larger. The size now exceeds our room.

We who first saw there was a ball of light like this were curious and tried to approach carefully. I tried to touch her with both hands, warm.

Rais and Kapi who saw me were fine after holding the ball of light also tried to hold it. Our curiosity is reduced.

Affandi approached the room below me. There were loud calls from the lower room. Other than that, it's only vague in our ears.

Affandi brought a burly boy from below. The man was wearing a dark brown shirt. He tried to release Affandi's grip.

Affandi threw the boy into a ball of light. Within twenty seconds the ball of light shrank to the size of a fist.

The ball of light was held by one of the flyboard riders with

his right hand and he looks normal.

Affandi signaled to four flyboard riders to go carry the ball of light towards the gray building on the right of our building. The mood was silent again.
