33 Eps. The Story of the Future

“Lian, do you know me?” The zombies began to reduce the number of attacks. While Lian was still focusing on attacking without listening to the words of the zombie. He was a little surprised and stayed focused. He thought this zombie had more thinking ability and power than any other zombie.

The zombie suddenly stopped attacking and was silent. Lian kept watching for a while before finally running to save her friends. But yet he turned the zombie body was suddenly already beside him. Not attacking but the zombie was tightly holding his shoulders.

Lian was surprised and looked towards the zombie. But not a zombie with no face. The zombie changed shape, his body transformed into a man with a narrow-eyed and thin Asian face. Face similar to the famous Asian idol. He was dressed in a thin coat of armour with a silvery color. His arm was covered in green cloth. As for the strange thing was that he was wearing a brown apron inside his silver armor.

After that he took off his grip and bowed his back. He greets Lian and leaves Lian confused and stops attacking or running away.

Mora's black tendrils are growing longer. The tendrils started to attack towards Lian and the man. But the man moved his fingers and formed a rectangle. Instantly around Lian and the man was covered in a transparent rectangular dome and made the tendril unable to enter. Lian was still shocked and silent.

“Once again let me introduce myself. My savior!” The man exclaimed.

Rescue, what savior. Lian is confused. He panicked to see the tendrils that had swallowed his friends. Before Lian thought of anything else the man replied.

“My name is Akito, you know? You will save me in the future. Maybe you don't know me right now. But in the future you will meet me and share many things with me.”

Akito puffed his chest back, smiling.

“Alright, I have to go, my time

not many. I just want to pass on a message from you in the future.” He stuck out a small scroll. Lian was astonished. He looked at Akito from head to toe. His hand continued to hold the sword alerted to whatever was happening. He took the scroll with a heart. He pulled his hand quickly and checked the contents of the sheet.

The east is your path, the other direction is your test, and failure is your step.

Lian still guessed the meaning of the letter before Akito finally said, “All my business is done, I have to go.”

Lian was simply stunned without answering anything. He let Akito who turned out to have released the dome and moved away. Lian was about to open her mouth to ask but the figure of the man named Akito had already darted away.

He didn't run away. The man named Akito darted to the enemy's boss, Mora. Lian could not see it, Akito's movements were too fast.

He attacked Mora, his shrewd and lightning-fast movements startling Mora.

Mora retreated instantly and immediately pulled his machete. Within seconds they stared before Mora asked in a loud voice

“Who are you, you're not from Alpha?”

“You don't need to know, my business here is just sending a message.” Akito replied with a smile. He drew his sword and attacked Mora.

‘trang...’ The sword and the cleaver meet and clink at each other. Mora's serious face grew when their weapons met each other but no one won. Mora's black smoke couldn't work, as it instantly disappeared upon encountering Akito's sword.

The Sword Intent was running for more than five minutes before finally right at the seventh minute a loud sound was heard. Unbeknownst to Mora, the level of violence of the two weapons could not be said to be the same. Although Mora's machete has been given magical powers, it seems that Akito's sword exceeds Mora's technology.

'Crak’ The sound is like a sword cutting wood. But there Akito's sword had broken through Mora's machete and broke it in two.

“No, not possible! How could you possibly break this death weapon?”

Akito stopped cutting. He pointed at himself with his left hand.

"I? Haha.. I'm a man of the future, just like you."

Before Mora could react, he cut his neck off. Black blood smelled of pus flowing from Mora's neck. He's been dead.

Akito returned to Lian's side, who could only pensively see nothing but Mora's severed neck. Also the machete of Mora which has now been cut in two. The gangster who killed six of his friends.

Lian was still shocked and her heart was racing. He looked at Akito's face with great fear. Lian could not imagine the strength of the person before her.

There were no tears flowing slowly from Lian's cheeks. He just couldn't believe what was in front of him. His friends who had not been up to a month he met now were gone, even the bodies were not there, he did not know they died or not.

“They have not died.” Akito replied, as if understanding Lian's thoughts made Lian startled once again.

“Alright now I'm in a hurry, I'll go. Last I just wanted to give you advice."

Akito pointed the sword in his hand towards Lian, handing her over.

"Your sword won't make you stronger now. Wear this sword!"

Lian took it away hesitantly. Akito smiled and immediately turned around before finally disappearing after attacking the zombies that blocked his path.

Lian immediately sat down when Akito was not seen in front of her. Not only did he kill Mora, but he also killed the zombies around them and barricaded them so that other zombies could not enter. The pile of corpses that became barricades looked extremely disgusting with flowing blood. The zombie area was already filled with flowing blood. The ground is not brown but a mixture of black and blood red.

Lian was still sitting there for a few minutes before finally walking to the other friends. Rais and Asuza who were sitting full of battle wounds were being healed by Dea. Their bodies looked limp after witnessing many things including the fight and death of another friend.

"Are you guys okay?" Lian asked in a very worried tone. They nodded.

"S..Who was that man?" ask Dea. Lian shook her head.

"I don't know, he claims to be named Akito from the future." Lian bowed lethargic. His heart still could not accept. This is his first loss.

"He said friends aren't dead yet, they're alive."

"Then the sword was his gift?"Asuza asked again. His eyes pointed towards the sword on Lian's left hand which was now covered in blood scratches. There was no visible color of the sword. However the sword looked familiar in Lian's eyes. Lian nodded in agreement to Asuza's question.

They remained silent for some time while being healed by Dea.

"It seems that Master Kiseti doesn't yet know about Mora's figure." Lian continued her words.

"He's very strong." Rais.

"It looks like there will be a big problem after we finish this training." Asuza. In the end everyone nodded and prepared to continue on. A giant compass was already visible in front of them.
