The sun turned red and made the atmosphere become dimly lit. The houses in the village of Abu Death also began to close. Most residents even started to pull blankets and lock the entire hole of the house. Night is their enemy. Not just because of the wild animals that roam outside the village. But danger also comes from within. Unexpected danger from hunger.
On the contrary, those who can't get anything to eat at night are the time of their vengeance. The faces of hunger are looking for prey. Whether it's his neighbors, his brothers, even if there's nothing else they can eat their own families, even their children. What an unexpected night of distress.
"You ready?" Black stood in a black suit with a white shirt stuffing and a black tie as well. The style of an office person complete with pantofel shoes and a briefcase in his left hand. He stepped out of the house in slow steps. His face was as usual, cold and did not look at Zam who had just woken up from his bed.
The wounds on his body healed so quickly. It may have exceeded the speed of modern medicine today. His face was shocked and confused by what Black said.
"Watch up for what?" Zam asked in a surprised tone. He moved closer to Black who had reached the exit. He only wore a dull short-sleeved shirt combined with the shorts he wore.
"Go." Black answered briefly while opening the exit. He walked toward a large ball-shaped object in front of the house that Zam had never known. Colorful glowing lights shot out from the giant sphere. Perhaps it was the only source of light that existed in the night of the Village of Abu Death. Like a multi-colored dot surrounded by a pitch-black color.
"Where to?" Zam asked from near the door. Black who was typing something on the 'giant ball' again answered briefly.
"Pick up the professor."
Zam put on a confused face once again.
"Professor? Professor who? What's for?" Zam asked for an answer with a very curious mimic. Black no longer answered him briefly, this time he was silent and still busy opening a 'giant ball' that was somehow used for what.
A few seconds later Black stopped typing, he took a few steps back. Just as Black stopped the Ball made a huge crack that one adult could pass through. In addition, in it appears a spacious room with white light coming out and illuminating the darkness of the night.
"Si accomodi, come in!" Black said flatly looking at Zam. His shiny eyes swept around making sure no one saw them. Zam only limped stepping closer to Black. Then looked at the 'giant ball' which turned out to be a high-tech teleportation plane. Zam stepped closer to the entrance, followed by Black stepping behind while watching the surroundings.
"Brake! Stop that!" A loud and shrill voice sounded from behind them. The voice was clearly from the voice of a woman. Within a fifteen meter radius, around them appeared hundreds of people in vagrant clothes full of blood marks and grim faces.
"B...Black, k.. You know them?" Zam stared at the cannibal faces in front of him. The men swarmed over him and Black seemed to see a dish ready to eat. The people in front of them were mostly adult men, and the rest were women.
"Yes, they are Predatore Notturno Squadra. The night hunters." Black lifted his briefcase.
"Get out of the way or I'll destroy you all!" Black said very quietly and in a threatening tone. He was preparing to open his briefcase, no matter what it contained but made the people around them stare in annoyance.
"Your threat no longer works for us Black. H.ha.ha.a..." The woman in front of him even showed a violent face. The woman is special, because of her posture which exceeds all the adult males there. His eyes were jet black and revealed an evil aura that could frighten the person staring at him. The most special thing was her silvery purple hair. It was clear that the woman was the leader of the group of people surrounding Zam and Black. The woman moved her eyeballs staring at the light-filled plane. The forefinger of his left hand pointed at the two objects alternately, the plane and the briefcase Black was carrying.
"That's.and your bag won't hurt me again, leggero, the light can't hurt me anymore. H.ha..ha..."The woman suddenly ran towards Zam. His originally empty right hand had suddenly brought along a long shiny golden dagger. His eyes focused on Zam.
'Ctharr...' The pebble hit the woman's forehead and exploded with the sound of a lightning strike. Zam turned around to hear the voice and was surprised to see that the woman had already fallen down with a forehead full of black blood flowing from the blast scars. His eyes looked at Black furiously.
"It still takes another hundred years for you to be able to withstand one kind of my moves. Excuse me." Black immediately turned around with the gazes of everyone who was shocked by their leader who was seriously injured. He entered the plane and snapped a finger at the entrance. The door closed tightly.
Five seconds later, the plane floated up and flew away and disappeared into the night. The place where the plane left silent was also the woman who was still draining her black blood and mobbed her men who stared anxiously. They want to help, but they don't know how. Their leaders are special. It is no ordinary creature.
In silence after the incident the woman muttered softly, her lips moving even though they could not be seen by her followers.
"My name is Buio, daughter of hatred and cunning, I will win against you Black, I will win after all this is done, wait for it."
Meanwhile on the plane, Zam was still standing staring around. There are silvery plane poles. Unknown technologies, as well as some checkered writing that he could not read. Maybe it was a code or something. He wondered who Black really was. He was afraid and afraid to see Black's ability. But before that he would ask something more important.
"Black!" Zam approached Black who looked to be still busy in a place that might be the kitchen. Although it does not look like a kitchen because there are no pans, stoves and others but what Zam does can explain it. He was pressing a few buttons on the table. Beside him was a plate full of red-colored pills.
Black looked up to hear Zam calling him. His face as usual looked at Zam coldly.
"What?"
"Where are we going?" Zam asked quietly in fear of harassing Black. Five minutes in silence after Zam said the question. There was only the sound of Black's hand knocking on the table.
'So...' Suddenly two plates of meat-filled bread appeared on the table.
"Black, where are we going?" Zam asked once again politely. Shaking in his voice he was unable to hide, he was afraid Black would do something to him.
Black looked at Zam.
"Mid Alpha." Said flat.
"Well, what did you say?" Zam stared in surprise as well as shock at Black's answer.
"Mid Alpha."
