Chapter 22 - Family Responses Like

After visiting the Baskara family home, Zafran and Lika go to the Laksana family home. The two arrived a few minutes later.

Zafran stopped the car slowly. This time he was the one leading the way first.

When he got out of the car, Lika was on the spot. I don't know why he was nervous. He hardly ever talks to Gamal and Zara.

Zafran had already informed Gamal and Zara of his arrival. Both of his parents had waited long enough. They were sitting in the middle room with anxiety and curiosity.

Shortly thereafter Zafran appeared. She was holding hands with Lika.

The eyes of Gamal and Zara are rounded together. They actually don't know Lika very well. Both of them felt familiar.

"Bah, Mommy... This is the woman I married. Her name is Lika," Zafran said. Lika then developed a smile.

Gamal was stunned when he heard Lika's name. The name was originally a member of the Baskara family. Gamal remembered because when Zafran High School often told stories about arch-enemies in school. As he remembered the enemy of the son also had the name Lika.

"I feel familiar. It seems like I've met you before" Zara said, recognizing Lika's face.

"I am too. I can't even imagine what it would be like if we were to become Selia. It was a very big nightmare" Gamal responded, kneeling his head with his hands. He was dizzy at the behavior of the son who was very unexpected.

"But if we disagree, then Zafran will not be happy. You saw how Zafran looked, didn't you? He's more cheerful" Zara said.

"You're right. But here the bad one is Selia. He's very stubborn. That's what makes me unable to stand!" gamal. He put two hands forward.

"How do we let things go the way they should. Because this is the choice of Zafran and Lika. I'm sure they know the risks they face. Just like we used to." Zara held gently Gamal's arm. Although she often quarreled with Selia, she had no problem at all. The main thing for him is the happiness of Zafran.

Zara smiled. He and Gamal soon meet Zafran and Lika who are still waiting.

"Have you guys talked to Selia?" gamal asked as he sat down on the sofa.

"Me and your Mother have absolutely no problem with your relationship. If you want to plan a big wedding, do it" said Gamal. Making the eyes of Zafran and Lika suddenly sparkle.

"But Lika. I want you to make sure that your appointment won't do anything with our family again. Honestly, I wouldn't accept you as a son-in-law if it wasn't for Zafran" Gamal said.

"Y-yes, Om. I will try," said Lika stammered. He held two hands on his thigh. Then throw each other a smile with Zafran. Now just need to wait for certainty from Selia.
