Chapter 20 - Lika's Confession

After talking to Zayn, Lika hides into the bathroom. He was really upset about everything that happened. Simultaneously, Lika got a call from Zafran. The man told me shocking news.

"You did what?!" Lika must be shocked. He was silent for a moment. He thought about the situation that happened.

Lika suddenly thought of the events in the past. The time when Zafran revealed his relationship to everyone. Even in front of Selia. Worse at that time Lika preferred her family and dumped Zafran.

What Zafran is doing now really gives the same feeling as in the past. But the difference between Lika and Zafran is married. That's what makes Lika think not to make the same mistake.

"There's something I want to say. This is related to the engagement plan that Zayn mentioned," said Lika. Put on a serious face. He continued, "i want to say that the engagement will not happen. Because I'm married to another man."

"I didn't say it because that man is the one you hate" Lika replied.

"What do you mean?" Selia demands answers.

"I will go back and introduce you. But let me go for a minute." Lika smiled thinly. He continued to step forward. Leaving Selia with curiosity.

Because of Lika's confession earlier, Zayn and his family were furious. They left with scowling faces. They also immediately revoked all cooperation that had occurred between companies.

Lika went into the apartment. There was Zafran waiting. The man immediately stood up and hugged Lika. Both of them felt equally relieved that they had already revealed their relationship.

"Everything's gonna be okay, right?" ask Lika.

"Yes, of course. As long as we're together, everything's gonna be fine." Zafran stroked Lika's shoulder slowly. Slowly he took off his embrace and looked gently at the wife.

"We started with your family or my family?" ask Zafran.

"We can do it tomorrow. For now, it's better to rest in the room" Lika responded as she held her hand against Zafran's neck. He took the time to briefly kiss the man's lips.

"I think the hardest thing is your family. So we meet them first. How's it?" zafran. He led Lika walking towards the room. Still in a position to hug each other.

"All right." Lika replied while sighing. "You're right, lying makes you tired. We should have said this relationship from the beginning. Because I don't think everything is going well. You even have to go abroad" he said, suddenly feeling guilty.

"Yes, you used to be so mean" Zafran responded. Making Lika's expression instantly turn sullen. "But I've forgotten all that. Because the most important thing now is that you've changed" he added.
